Those were at low light, always looks darker on camera. I have measured well over 150 fish over 50 btw. 😁
There was once a double nickel that frequented that spot for an entire week. Of course I got the the smaller nice fish of the area that was 47 😳

Good video living thru you guys northern trips. Did get a 36 or so Hoosier musky last Thursday, water temp was 77 to 78.5 but had to quit when temps got to 79 to 81 on the lake couldn't find cooler water . Had to walk the talk

Nice catch! Sorry about your ankle! I hurt my shoulder really bad once. Was on my way to the doctor and stopped at a pond to fish for 10 minutes cause I knew my doctor would tell me not to fish. Caught my personal best Bass after 3 casts! Keep on keeping on!

Sad to see how much Vermillion has changed the past 10 years. I was fortunate enough to fish it hard in the glory days. Haven't even bothered in the past five years with the pressure. Nice video fellas. Glad you got on some fish.

Nice video guys! I threw the Flaptail for the first time yesterday. Love the simplicity of it, as well as the “clack” of that blade. Nothing yet but we did get a missed blow up on a Dr. Evil from a BIG musky.

Never underestimate the broomhandle lure lying forgotten in your box. Might look silly, beat to hell, maybe partially broken, or "outdated", but it doesn't mean it won't fish. I once wasted a day salmon fishing the pier in Ludington, Michigan. Threw everything but the box and got skunked. Meanwhile, an old Native American man was slaying them. When I finally gave up, I asked the man what he was using. He showed me a 4" stick with a piece of red yarn trailing from it, a treble hook, and a sinker. He pulled a small wad of the yarn from his shirt pocket and said, " I just find the stick on the ground". He didn't even HAVE a box. He brought his pole, a hook, and a sinker. He left with fish. I brought two poles, a large box full of all manner of lures, fake eggs, stinger hooks, add-on spinners, etc; etc; and left fishless. I never forgot that old man. He taught me something in less than a minute that I will remember forever.
The Big V will drive you nuts. So many big fish, so few strikes.

Hey guys back home and on the mend. Had two more surgeries but im finally starting to have my speech and mental capacity to hold a conversation and use my phone again. That last section when it was dark do you think a little bit smaller version of the same bait might have induce a strike maybe? Oh and add a hook on the back of that baby lol. Anyway thanks for the content I now have some back episodes to catch up on

Paint the belly orange. I wonder if the fish can see white on both sides but thinks it’s two fish swimming together because of the black. Which makes him think if he strikes they will split and he will miss. So he keeps following hopein one will make a mistake. That could of been the craziest thing I said this week. But after watching tons of pike follow videos on under water cameras. They would just follow if the to baits were to close. The more they spread it out they would hit like crazy.! Try it . Any other color than black on the belly. Who knows though . Everybody says colors don’t matter. And I am a firm believer in that. But what dose that fish see or how he sees it in different light makes a big difference. Great video

A lot of them are based off of musky lures and the only reason I started making lures is because of you guys. Thank you for the videos and the inspiration.
last week i cought my PB muskie. 38 1/2 ln 18 In girth and the bait hooked the net outside and she was pinned to the net and her jaw. somehow I got her in and up the bank. it was nerveracking but i got her in the net pic measure recoup and she swam off. i was 100% adrenaline. this is why i fish for muskie. I dropped at least 10 and had another giant break my lure off in her mouth. 3 days of non stop pumped up. screaming hooting hollering oh yeah.

Guys, is it just me? When you guys get a follow ya'll slow down the retrieve on your figure 8s. STOP DOING THAT LOL. Get busy with it...keep the speed up on the retrieve into the figure 8. She's not going to explode on your lure if you slow down...Angling Anarchy does this 'whip whip' on his figure 8s too and it never works. Keep it simple stupid😉 LOVE you guys, Cheers!!!
Tried that on first fish and they slowed down. Water temp dropped 9 degrees and fish wouldn't chase anything faster for us. Tried blades, rubber, gliders you name it. Same thing happened last year in cooler water. Watch this vid...

Trust me, we threw the tackle box at them. Was the only bait they would move on. Lots of stuff just doesnt make the video. They would be 2 hours long with nothing happening.

Why so married to the top water? I get it makes for great content but why no follow up baits ready on those hot fish? White Poseidon? 10-9 buck tail or a glide you can jerk the crap out of? With that heavier wind I wouldn’t be keen on top water, not trying to be a know it all just genuinely curious as to the thought process. And you guys are the pros I’m just trying to learn.

welch8341: I’m a retired CPA who’s heard that phrase a million times, but that’s OK. I ‘m very accurate at keeping track of pan fish limits, fish lengths, grand kids birthdays and my rod and reel inventory. 🙂 Those “beans” have allowed me to do a lot of amazing fishing, in God’s beautiful creation, over the years. Lee: no problem as long as you catch a 50” this season!👍
