Amazing video! Forgive me if the answer is obvious but, why do you play two 60hp frigibaxs as opposed to the 70hp one?
Thank you! The 60 HP Frigibax has 1 retreat cost which is a big deal when you start with it. Allows you to retreat to Chien-Pao and use Shivery Chill. The one 70 HP Frigibax is there to protect against Sableye.
24:11 do you think maybe its correct here to bench the extra frig incase of raihan+cross switcher? know some palkia lists run it and there isnt really a downside to benching the frig so feels like it would be better to play safe than sorry there.

41:57 I think ultra ball 2 vip for Chien pao to think deck in case of Roxanne or iono never having to worry about drawing a useless card and also I wouldn’t have placed the one energy and kept that in hand so Incase u draw gren you can concealed cards and also if the active chain pao dies you can promote new one and if they iono or Roxanne you can shivery chill for 2, superior for 4 and have ko then b 1 prize off Ko

Thank you! I tested pokegear in the deck earlier, I really liked it but its just one of those things where there isn't a lot of space for it. You'd have to make some tough cuts. Similar to pokegear I've considered pal pad to help protect Vs. late game iono/roxanne

In my opinion it is one of the decks best matchups. I lost the zard game in the video due to prizing Bibarel and misplaying. As long as you take a prize before the lost zard deck you should win. You have pao to trade 2 for 2 with the zards and then the ninja cologne play to take 2 prizes with a 1 prizer
Hello Cieran! I wanted to pick your mind about what will happen to the deck with Paradox Rift. Iron Hands EX and the new energy search card definitely fit well in the deck, but imho take away a lot from the "turbo" aspect of it. Today I was looking at the upcoming "TM: evolution" and I realized as Chien-Pao you never attack on your first turn when you go second anyway, so it would actually be great in that scenario. Obviously it isn't as good when you go first, but maybe a 1x inclusion could be worth it to improve the odds when going second, which usually hurts the deck a lot. Do you think a version that moves away from the "turbo" setup to move towards the arven package, including TM evolution, would be better than the current list rivisited with Iron Hands EX? Arven is still really good even if you go first to grab the candy later on, and bravery charm is really strong too. I know it is too early to truly tell, but I would still like to hear your opinion. Of course the deck structure would change considerably, since including more supporters also means moving away from the pokéstops and therefore probably removing the cross-switchers too. The structure would become somewhat similar to Charizard EX's current list which works so it might be decent? Going second and ending the turn with a Bibarel and a Baxcalibur honestly seems nuts to me. Ideally a 1-1 Arceus line to enable FSS would also be good but of course one can't fit everything into one deck
Disclaimer, I haven't tested next format so this is all theory on my part.
I think you pointed out that tm evolution isn't strong going first, and I'd say the same for arven most likely. Also you'd need to play the stage one since you can't evolve straight to Baxcalibur. I do think getting two bibarel would be cool though.
In terms of adding iron hand, I think you can squeeze it into turbo, but I think making the deck slower is fine with iron hands now. Part of the reason the deck is turbo with switchers is to enable big prize trade turns, but iron hands more easily enables trading now.
I'll re-visit chien pao with paradox rift and hopefully make some content with it!

I feel that benching the frigibax was the play in the first game because if the opponent was a turbo lzb, the chance of t1 dnite is high and not benching bax is consequencial
if they are getting t1 dragonite in that position youre probably losing the game anyways even if you bench the frigi just because of how far behind youd be, there is no real reason to play around that because of it. the more plausible thing happening on turn 1 is the opponent just attacking with cram, and if they cram ko the frigi you just have no board and get run over on the next few turns since you cant establish a big enough board
