I run the red gun and i believe that is the stainless steel if im not mistaken. I've washed approximately 500,000 sq ft of roof with it in the last 10 months and haven't had a problem. I just squirt some WD-40 in it after each use and throw it in my toolbox until the next time. I keep one of the blue guns as a backup though.
Great ! Thanks for the video Ken. I have one that I've only used at my house to wash my vehicles...plain water. And after a few times. It would no longer make the tightest stream. NOW...I know how to take it apart and see if I can find the problem.
@@housewashing5693 I've run that screw through the paces. All the way in & out. It did make a tight stream when I 1st got it. But after just a few uses...it screwed up. I almost threw it in the trash.
Needed this information. My blue gun isn't shutting off all of the way so this may be a huge help. Thanks Ken, you're the man!
It sounds like your stem is sticking. Tear it down

Don't take it apart. Just adjust the screw in the back while holding your trigger on.

@@ronjclm8590 Yeah. Go ahead and open it up, look around and lube it. It might work....
I just pour bar oil into the slot at the top of the trigger. It fixes it for months
Great video!!! Much needed.
Glad it was helpful!
All of this is great!
Thank you!
