I'm sure Beatles fans will love to watch this again

The original Let It Be movie contributes a bite-sized (for repeat viewings) slice of the massive quantity of footage taken during the Get Back sessions. It's "dark" but I like that it is non-sanitized and doesn't so cater to Paul McCartney. Excellent bootleg versions exist, but this will get the same state-of-the-art treatment that Get Back received.
The original theatrical version was presented in grainy widescreen. But Peter Jackson and his team will perform their magic on it!

I was nineteen when I saw the film at a matinee in Toronto in June, 1970. My memory was that it was dark and rather depressing. Both John and Paul had called it quits from the group which probably added a sour taste to the viewing.

Any idea if its going to be in its Original Aspect Ratio (4:3) on Disney+? Mainly because it was cropped on its theatrical release and then Panned & Scanned on its sole US Video Release.
Also if Disney are in a situation where they own or have access to a lot of IP (& thus media heritage), they might as well make the most of it rather than leave it in some archive shelf.

"The final version of the film was blown-up from full-frame (1.33:1) aspect ratio 16 mm to 35mm film 1.85:1 aspect ratio for theatrical release, which increased the film's graininess." But, doubtless, Peter Jackson will work his magic on it and deliver a wonderful looking widescreen image.

I'm sure the Picture Quality will be excellent. It's just a question of if the OAR would be respected or not.

The thing is that Let it Be is premerring just two days before the first two episodes of the new season of Doctor Who; the second of which is an episode that is centered around the Beatles. Is that a coincidence? I don't think so.
