Nearly 30 yrs I only played with Pirahna and Great White darts. Once I tried Harrows, I fell in love with the brand...especially the Spina. I never thought I would find a better dart for my grip and style. I stayed away from Shot because of the price, but I broke down and purchased my first set about 6 months ago. Once you get a set and give them a throw, you will see why they cost a little on the high side. Beautifully made, wonderful to throw. Worth every penny.
Yeah they make very good darts 👍
Excellent looming darts with a beast of a grip.
What a amazing review darren !
Well done !
Thank you! :)
Stunning looking arrows, Shot always up there with the quality 👌 Great review Darren!! Cheers 👍🎯🇺🇸
Thanks! :)
thanks for showing this set
another gem of shot
bought this set today
I think all sets are worth every penny
whatever it costs
thanks for the good review
thank you for all the work you put into making these reviews super great
Thanks again Peter! :)
they remind me a lot of the Shot Viking Hammer Darts.. Nice review Darren, thanks for it 👍👍👍
Yeah similar to them, thanks! :)
That grip looks wicked!!
Great reviews!!! Thanks for all the work on the channel!! - Have you ever done a comparison between Brass vs Tungsten? How they throw, feel so on. Would be great to see.
Thanks! I have not reviewed any brass darts that I can remember, I dont really buy modern brass ones only vintage brass, dont like the smell of it really lol I did do a video comparing tungsten to other metals about five years ago though: czcams.com/video/FMG6g8xEVs0/video.html
@@DartsReviewChannel what had me thinking about it is I have lost my original Eric Bristows I bought in 1988 and saw a brass version from Harrows. I thought "wonder how they would be?"
@@CaM203 they will likely be thicker so not sure if that would appeal to you
Absolutely love the look of these. They’re expensive but look to be well worth it with quality you get from Shot Darts. That grip would be in a perfect position for my throw. Fantastic review as always Darren 👍🏻🎯
Thanks Stewart, they do look nice :)
Hi Darren is there anywhere in the UK selling them or can you only get them from Shot?
@@WeeIslay not sure, think they should be in UK soon though
Thank you for replying so quickly Darren. I’ve looked round a couple of sites but not seen any yet. I’ll keep checking though. You have a great night 👍🏻🎯
Nice darts and well done on review.
Cheers! :)
Well, this review came a bit late...I already ordered a 25g set of the Raven, just couldn´t resist buying them. ;)
I absolutely agree to your review, I really like the aesthetics of the Raven and play them with black firestorm onyx points and medium aluminium shafts. Fantastic darts for me, a bit pricey, but well worth the money spent if you, like me, are a fan of Shot! darts. I play them for three days now and already had a couple of 180s and a 12 darter with a 156 out (T20, T20, D18).
Considering that I only picked up playing darts in April last year during the lockdown, Shot darts definitively have their share on my progress. The first 6 months I couldn´t hit anything except some occasional trebles with sets from Winmau, RD or even my very first set from Bulls NL, the White Pegasus. Only when I bought the Ballista from Shot, my game gradually became better and better...I´m not saying Shot produces magical darts, but the Ballista helped me becoming way more constant with my throws. I feel comfortable with Shot darts and the Raven is no exception from that. Fine darts...and an equally fine review of them from you, Darren. Your work is much appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback Chris! I always liked Shot darts, they have got more expensive in the last few years but then they have spent a lot on new machines for cutting and coating the darts and also invested more in designing themes, grips etc, all adds up I guess. You are doing well if you only started last year though, hitting 12 darters is top level :)
Pricey, fancy, beautiful darts ! If Whitlock ever switches to Shotz I bet the Wizard model would be interesting. 🤣 Awesome review as usual Darren 👍
Thanks! :)
Yet another excellent review, not even watched it yet and just know. These look fantastic I get a Corey Cadby vibe from them down to the shape. A bit pricey but they will be worth it coming from shot. Look forward to another set shot are making which should be ready in a few weeks. Keep up the fantastic work mate, got up too 900 subs yesterday not near your sub count but I'm proud of how far I've come in such a short time.
Sorry for how how long this comment is forgive me I am fond of the colour green 😜
Nice one Kieran! Soon be at 1k and beyond! :) Cheers! :) Green is good :)
@@DartsReviewChannel all I can do is try my best and do the best I can limited by the equipment I have everything I film is by my mobile, if I get there or not I'm just happy to help people
@@ScottishLadDartsChannel Keep at it, you will get there :)
@@DartsReviewChannel thanks mate
They look amazing
Like the barrels
I am terrified by that price point. But, having said that, it's a jolly beautiful dart. I love blue on darts too much. Oh, any updates about the Gary Anderson darts and the Code grip disparity among the different versions?
They do look nice :) Not heard anything about the Andos, not even any feedback from other people.
Great review mate. Shot have some of the best looking darts on the market but a shame the prices are extortionate
Thanks mate! :)
Great review ! :) Do you know if Boris is playing the raven in 23g himself ?
Thanks! I think he was at the time I did the review
Thank you ! :)
These darts suits you nice mate , awesome review of stunning darts , barrels are from what is showed center weighted . As usual by Shot quite pricey 🎯
Thanks mate! :)
@@DartsReviewChannel what Rocky thougths about these darts ? He likes them or he wants mountain of gravy bones ?
@@tomgengar he just wants more gravy bones
@@DartsReviewChannel seems as quite grippy darts on rear section where i hold the dart .
@@tomgengar yep
You know I need these right.
you need them all lol
Yes. Give me all the darts lol
@@ColossalCrib :P
I want nearly every dart you review. This is getting expensive 😂
LOL :)
Nice darts, shame about the price. Well reviewed as always Darren. 😀
Thanks Martin! :)
Which is the best SHOT darts for front weighted??
Bit of hard question to answer, which is best, as its all about what suits the individual in the end. The Raven are good as is the Druids, I really liked those but they are not fully front loaded, if you want a more front weighted one then may be the Andersons, Boudica and I also like the Shot Zen Jutsu.
Shot Darts are always nice. 👌
They are :)
Nice darts, I'd have them in a glass case at that price though!
Yeah they are very nice :)
Love shot darts don't love the price hard to splash out on these which is a shame as I'd like a set of these
Lovely barrell as usual by shot but sadly can't afford them.
I own these great Darts and going for some Tridents to get rid of the nasty Lip to protect my Flights 😅
Lol I think the grip on the barrel does plenty more damage than the lip on the nose 😉👍
@@DartsReviewChannel your point is not so very wrong tbh 😂😂😂👍🏻
@@GRFVGL less of your lip man! Lol 😜
@@DartsReviewChanneli changed the Tip to Storm Points. Perfect fit 👍🏻
@@GRFVGL Nice! :)
They are definitely pricey wow look at the Machining there's your price really like the way they look and impressed on the way they are machined could be looking at the 25 G and after that a divorce LOL thanks Darren
LOL dont blame me if you get a divorce then :)
Sorry thought it said karlov. For a second I thought frankenstein played darts lol
Lol😜
They are stunning looking darts, the only thing stopping me getting a set of shot darts is the price, £96 is a bloody lot, they make target darts look cheap lol, the back of the dart is a bit like red dragon delta darts
Yeah, Shot is expensive...but IMHO well worth the price. With the Raven and the Caesar being my newest set from Shot, I now own 13 sets of them and their grips are something special. Helped me from being a weekend warrior occasionally hitting some trebles to someone preparing to enter tournaments on the continent (Germany, Netherlands, etc.) Playing the Raven for a couple of days now and , No, the Raven is nothing like the Delta from RD , which I also own, except the similar colours.
One tip: try and find some Shot darts second hand, that way your purse isn´t harmed as much as buying them new. I´d recommend the Ballista (CW), the Legion (FW) or the Prospector (BW) for your first Shot set as they all have this special grip giving more control over the dart IMHO.
Beautifull darts!!! Less grippy than i thought, pricey buggers.................
Designs are nice in the eye but in performance they differ i realize buying so very expensive darts wont help me be a better beginner player it will just put a hole on my pocket
Yeah as a beginner best to stick with something more simple at first :)
Rumour has it Odin only has two Ravens,, - in the epic world ending game of arrows with the einherjar in Valhalla, he is at a real disadvantage, Missing one eye and one barrel, no one will want him on their doubles team!
That is the real unkindness.
LOL I will take your word on that :)
do you purposely spin the dart or is that a natural thing that happens when it leaves the hand? i consciously spin my darts. i am trying to get away from it lately though.
It just happens
:)
