I ordered this set today because unfortunately it wasn't available in any shop in my immediate vicinity.
This dart actually has everything I was looking for: a short barrel, the front scallop and it seems to be very well balanced.
The price is of course very high, which usually puts me off buying a set without throwing it at least a few times to try it out.
I was really hoping for this review because I took away a lot of useful things from these videos.
Well, hopefully this set will live up to the expectations I have.

Now that I've had the time to test this set extensively for 1 week, I can confirm a lot of what is explained in this video.
I was a bit worried that the grip in the front might not be enough for me. And indeed, it's not as grippy as one would expect from the pictures, but that doesn't bother us at all in this case, since the scallop offers great orientation and the dart lies very well in the hand.
What should be emphasized, however, is the great balance.
As someone who usually plays rather heavily front loaded darts, I can say that I have rarely played such a well-balanced dart, even if it took me longer than usual to get used to my throwing arm and to tinker with this set a bit until I got the right combination of shaft and flight for me.
You could say it's love at second sight.
But as you know, it lasts longer, doesn't it?😉

Another great review Darren 👍🏻 these are right up my street & I'm a rear gripper so a win win. It's also a sexy looking dart from Shot....one of my favourite brands.
Definitely on my list but not this month as I'm having my Shot Warrior Outlaw dartboard framed for the wall. Most definitely will pick up a set of these.

@@DartsReviewChannel yes it took me awhile for them to fly right for me but so did the Tribal Weapon 3’s but they ended up being one of the best darts I’ve ever had

I know a lot of people are saying they are overpriced, but shot machines the most intricate darts in my opinion. You get what you pay for.

Have the 22g in steel and the 20g in soft on order. Can’t wait to try them. I may give the wing slim condors another go with these.

I bought them in 24g. My first impression is the same, Darren: they feel lighter than their actual weight. So thanks for pointing that out, because sometimes I buy the 23g version and that wouldn't have been the best choice here!

This will be my 3rd dart from the Tribal Weapon range I´ll gladly add to my collection, but tbh I like the Notorious BDG better because of the heavy similarities to the Merv King SE darts I get along with pretty fine. Rowby-John´s new dart also looks amazing,...will be one of these expensive months once again, I guess....

Shot does have some nice stuff but definitely on the expensive side.
Looks pretty nice to hold onto for a bomb shzped dart.

Great review as always. I like the look of those but the price is a bit off putting. The price of darts nowadays is almost ridiculous.
So it’s not only me feeling that with every release the price of Darts goes up. I think 5-6 years ago 60-70€ were already really expensive darts, now it’s the regular
@@Neutronity yeah unfortunately you'd think with modern CNC machining that the darts manufacturer's could bring the price's down.

Really like the look of those. I wouldn't be bothered with the price if it wasn't for the cheap packaging that always puts me off shot darts. They come across as just overpriced. No effort into presentation. They should take some tips from Target Darts at least....
Problem is they are usually only high priced in other countries not at origin country so its not really seen as a set needing a fancy presentation box. Such boxes are nice but a lot of people only want them if they are displaying the darts or collecting, if you are using them then most throw the box away which is a waste. The ones Shot do are small and neat and easy to store too. Would likely add more to the cost though if they made a fancy box.
Ive git these and my normal darts go in straight but these are very front heavy and go in sticking up a lot . For me they do but i still like them and they would probably be better with long flights
@DartsReviewChannel a pouch to store them would be nice. If they are cheaper at country of origin than here in the UK I'm surprised they even sell.

Thanks a lot for the reply! I really like the intro and the music during the slo-mo also seems sensible. I was just a little bothered by the ''goofy'' and kind of repetitive music during the gameplay, but that’s only me and one person who liked my comment. I believe there is no need for any music during the gameplay, but if you like to add some maybe try a more ''chill'' tune. You could also try to have no sound and then comment on it with an audio tape later, maybe explaining more about the dart and how you feel about it or just joking around about being a ''treble 5 champion'' ;)

Thats great, no problem! Always like to get any feedback good or bad as it just helps. I know one person will like something and another will not, that is just life but got to try things I guess :) The music on that part is kind of a little in-joke with a friend, I like broccoli and the music is called "broccoli on my plate" lol I did it on a funny video before as a bit of a laugh. I can get how it may annoy people though. I may try a different tune or just leave it as you say.

@@newfiekj I dont put them anywhere, its usually the local darters that buy them or people who message me online. Problem if you are overseas is I am not sure you will save much as I only send tracked which depending on the size of the package can add from £10 to £18+ Once I get properly organised though just about everything will either go on ebay or the forum or FB groups or possibly I will put them on my DRC site :)

Call me picky but the finish on the milling looks a little bit messy on these
I am not sure if its just the coating, I think often the barrels are coated and then recut so sometimes the coating looks a bit patchy but just guessing here :)

A Phil Taylor design dart from shot normally the tribal weapon is something special i dont see it here
Taylor doesnt have the monopoly on that style, the Taylor darts were copied from the John Lowe dart but even then there was lots of darts in that shape before him too :)
I’m not a fan or Shot because I think they focus too much on making their darts look fancy which drives the price to be ridiculously expensive; they need to focus more on function and performance, BUT to each their own…I know a lot of people like to get these for the look…anyway, thanks for the review all the same, matey
They make more simple practical darts too but I know plenty who use the fancy darts as their main match darts also :)
