      Dark mode just came with the new app update, but only on the camera live stream pages . Soon it'll be the whole app

    I am a Wyze fanboy, with 23 different Wyze devices on my Wyze app. The Wyze guys must know that this excellent hardware requires excellent software, (At this point, I’d settle for decent software). When my iPhone app stops crashing every time I open it, and no longer struggles to open events, change the color of my lamps, log my weight on the scale, or adjust the Bluetooth on my headphones, I will rush out to buy this new camera.

      I would definitely buy a Wyze dashcam that has flexible mounting options, front and rear-view recording in a continuous loop.

    at what point do y'all perfect the software before releasing yet another higher priced version of the hardware. my v3s all sound like someone is blowing straight into the microphone when they're inside with no fan on

    I just installed my new Wyze Battery Cam Pro yesterday to monitor my vegetable garden, and it is super great! I am also using the solar panel to power it. The video quality is very crisp and the night vision is amazing. My only gripe with this camera is that it takes a while to pull up the live feed. The wifi connection seems quite strong, even though my router is 65 feet away on a windowsill. I have the Cam Plus Unlimited plan for all of my Wyze cameras. So far, I’m really impressed!

      @wyze - Hi, thanks. The problem was you have to remove the rubber plug that covers the port. It is not totally obvious, at least to me, that there is a rubber plug as it sits flush and I was a little hesitant to pull on it. However, there is no other place so it had to be that.
      Anyway, maybe it was just me. Thx.

    With all the WYZE devices that I have, some never used, some don't work properly. Will there be a trade in program so we can be up to date with all the newer devices?

    Wish it had 24/7 recording to sd card, but guess thats not gonna work since its powered by a battery. Nice, but not for me. Also im sure the wifi range is no better than the other models. My V3's outside have issues connecting to my router thats like 2 rooms away due to my house material construction. Signal shows good, but viewing back the local storage on the app is another story. Not to mention the app will randomly freeze and not show the live footage. Love the WYZE platform, but hope all the little minor issues inproves

      I had a connection issue also and then I upgraded my twenty-year-old router from spectrum to the new router and man what a difference I have no issues at all... The mesh router from spectrum works and it was free but trust me I'm paying for it through the bill lol

      @@pizzadave9812 I upgraded my isp provided router to my own. Yes the provided isp basic router sucks. The one I have now is much better and I'm on fiber connections. None of my other devices have issues connecting to wifi anywhere in my house or on my property like the front yard and back yard. The Wyze cam have too weak of an internal antenna for a good reliable connection when streaming HD. While it works most of the times, there are times where the app freezes when viewing back the local storage and live view. It's a bug that wyze have not figured out how to improve yet.

    WYZE you are awesome!! I love you, especially your V3 Cams..... they are tough, reliable cookies. I wish you would make a camera that doesn't need wi-fi to record loop video, sort of like a CCTV camera without the need for wifi to record video.

    Have 2 Cam Pan cameras and Cam Plus as well…neither have worked for months 100%. If it detects motion it does not records…message says “video not available”. I have spent several hours literally 3 hours on my last call to no avail. I am told that it is a “software issue” and they are working on it. I have sent attachments as proof. This was in the spring and I have never heard back nor do either of my cameras work to record motion. Why have it then!
    If there is a problem with the product…offer to replace it with the newest camera at a discount so we have the protection we have payed for in full for a year.
    Really unhappy with the customer service. I think I know more about the product that the Wyze person on the other end because I have done my research as to how the product should run. I can not control the software issues the company has.
    Any response would be greatly appreciated.

      Video not available is what I get 50% of the time on my wyze outdoor cam. Or, in the dark, it will get a half second of IR video then go black for the duration of the video clip.

    I can't access my account in the app or on the website. Somehow 2FA was turned on. And my only option to login is using an authenticator app, that I didn't set up. I have called your "support" line multiple times to cancel my unused cam plus subscription and they say they can't help me, that I can do it in the app or online. And of course they can't help me get into my account.

    There should be some kind of log that notes if our when the power goes off and the cameras are offline and for how long. These cameras are cool... until you lose power. All someone has to do is turn off your breaker, do whatever in your house and turn the breaker back on. Except for some lights on or whatever you would never know it was off

    Yeah, ok. Let me waste $100 on another Wyze camera that will die right after the warranty ends. Can I trade the 4 Outdoor Cams that all died in 13-14 months when they stopped charging?? No thanks Wyze!!

      I have six V3 cameras online outdoors since Fall 2020. Maybe your WiFi router is a problem.

      @@norami9 I have had 1 camera die across about 18 cameras in total, and it was when the temperature was about -40c which is outside the approved operating temp. What are people doing to their hardware for it to fail so frequently?

      I agree. I bought many of their devices including the outdoor battery power ones and the base never worked after a few months. I was hoping for a firmware update but no dice. I tried everything I could think of besides reaching support.
      I was very supportive of their products but even just launching the live view is a hit or miss. When it works, it's very slow at connecting and they do not even display on Google display devices, despite being 'compatible'.
      Hopefully they will revisit a few things to improve the user experience.

    I've had about half a dozen of these cameras over the last couple of years ... various versions etc and I've come to the conclusion that they're all CRAP. They constantly lose connection, the audio is TOTAL crap, the detection times are abysmal ... upwards of 75% of the time they're "down" for one reason or another and then on top of all this they sent me an email saying that they're raising the CamPlus price! I immediately cancelled all my subscriptions and i would never buy another one even if it was 10 bucks. BTW, I have Eufy and Kasa cameras in the same general vicinity as these ones and they never drop their connections.

      Didn’t know Kasa made cameras…👀 which one do you use outside and would you recommend? I completely regret my wyze purchase for the same reasons you mentioned!

      All my stuff works fine. Sensors need to be rebooted from time to time but cameras work well all the time

    Please refund the 8 months now you guys have been double charging me and fighting me over. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and we love Wyze! Please fix this! :( 8 months of $7.99 on top of the $9.99! Such a headache to do what’s right!

    Complete waste of money.
    I bought 4 cams to monitor my newborn baby, but this is a "toy" camera, it works (not always and with poor quality) to be able to enter and see what is happening. But for recording things it is extremely bad. I bought the (original) Microsd memories and after a couple of days the cams didn't recognize them anymore. Then I paid for the "plus" service and the same thing, loooong spaces of time that nothing is recorded.
    Zero recommended, if you just want something to play it's fine, but if for some reason you want a recording of something that you need to review, this is NOT the camera you need.
    I lost my money!

      last time they make you join and let it expire. It will send you a message that your free subscription is expiring and just let it expire and you should be able to record to Sd card… no cloud needed.

      @@wyzeyeah but continuous kills the battery in under a day and the only non subscription setting is 12 seconds to sd card. So coming soon a feature that really only works if the battery cam is powered.
