"We're Not Safe Here" is my favorite. The homey vibes of the friends around the campfire turned quickly to scary, is very realistic, and I like that. Plus, something sinister pretending to be something familiar always gets me! Of course, "Don't Look Away" also has a special place in my heart, cause y'know. Super excited to hear about/see this next one!
Thank you Jenna! It's great to see you here :)
I’m so glad “We’re Not Safe Here” is doing so well, still my favorite of all your horror shorts
Personally "Knock Knock" is by far the best Horror film you made. Just the lack of context and explanation behind the entity gives it this uncanny aura to it. Which makes the whole film really tense because you can't predict what the creature can or will do. Its them same feeling I get with The Giant from "The Oldest View" idk if that makes sense.
I was revisiting this channel because of your old "10 things you should never do in a nerf war" series to dig up some nostalgia. Thats when I learned that you're also the guy who made the "dont look away" horror short. Its incredible to see how far you've come and just how talented you really are. Keep up the good work dude, this is awesome!
“We’re Not Safe Here” I think is definitely your best but personally “Knock Knock” and Sulmnium really left an impression on me when I saw it as a kid, for me knowing that a high school kid made something that could scare me and look cinematic really inspired me.
Was just rewatching We're Not Safe Here the other day wondering when we'd hear from you again. My questions were heard! :D
My favorite short you've made is Break In. The tension in that one is something else. But of course I haven't seen this new one yet, I can't wait!
Every time you post it feels like catching up with an old friend that i've been following since I was a wee lad :D
Haha thank you that's crazy you were a wee lad. I was a wee lad when I started. 👴
Great seeing you back! I def gotta say Break In, it was something we can all see ourselves in and doing those same things. Also the suspense of it was great.
I'm looking forward to "The Noise Next Door". I love "We're Not Safe Here" because the idea of a malevolent entity mimicking humans creeps me out a lot. I'm really glad to hear it's doing well!
When you brought up Knock Knock a fucking memory way hit me god damn I remember watching that when it came out
I’m so glad you’re still around Chris!
I clicked on this video and wasn’t really watching it, I thought that audio at the beginning sounded like palpatine from rise of skywalker, which I thought was the most bizarre choice ever for an opening. Till I rewound and realized I am in fact insane
Im very happy you are back! Im looking forward to see yout new short film
Christopher! your back! I literally waited a whole year for this to come, all i want from you is to upload in a regular basis because your content is just too good. I am really excited for this new short film and after waiting for a year and checking my notifications every single day incase you uploaded something you finally did and im sooo happy. I hope to get more content from you soon cause i can't wait!
Always great to see something from you Chris.
I used to watch all your videos back in 2013, I had a huge collection of nerf guns. I'm rewatching some of them, bringing back so many good memories. It is quite surreal to see you as an adult. It's nice to see you've stuck with filming and directing, I'll have to check out some of your new stuff.
Glad to hear that you are making a new short film can’t wait. Abi’s Monster is by far my favorite. Real life struggles in my opinion really blend well together with psychological horror. Best of luck to you. I faith it will go well
My favorite short horror is Somnium because it was a great plot. I love the characters. I love the acting. I love everything.
I remember watching your nerf videos as a kid. First one i ever watched was either your review on the Nerf Rampage or your nerf arsenal video. From there it went to things you should never do in a nerf war onto deep sheep and now onto these phenomenal horror short films. My favorite is probably We're Not Safe Here, but a close second would be Don't Look Away. Absolutely love how far you've come along Chris and can't wait for more of your film work ❤
I can't wait for more from you Chris !!!!!!!!!!
We’re not safe here and don’t look away is my favorite it’s really scary 👻
Great to see you back! Looking forward to the new film
Ayyy the GOAT has returned, I think my favorite has gotta be Abi’s Monster, mainly for the really sick cinematography, I think a lot of indie short films kinda end up playing it safe and all looking the same but there were some awesome creative shots in Abi’s Monster that I think make it really stand out from not only your other work but also from most short films in general
I remember seeing knock knock and it genuinely did everything right
You are amazing brother🎉🎉
Man you were my childhood. You're slightly older than me but I always looked up to you and your videos. It sucks to see the fan base and how it fell off. I still love your videos though
Glad to see you again, it just feels like yesterday I was watching deep sheep and every nerf war ever
Yeah... I will review The Noise Next Door
My favourite is Knock Knock. Some of the best camra work I've ever seen. It generally had me scared.
Glad to see you're back, and easily "abi's monster", it took a common trope and made a good story with a great message, love it
I'm glad to see Chris on the grind💪
The king is back and he is COOKING!
Personally I think my favourite of the five shorts might have to be “Knock Knock”, not just because it’s probably the first “professional” one you ever made but also the editing with the phone’s perspective was also really well done in my opinion. Keep cracking! 👍
babe wake up Cristopher Cox just posted
bro, I haven’t seen u since the nerf vids, i had the best childhood because of u bro
Glad that you're back man!
Been here since 2013, and am now an aspiring filmmaker in college trying to make horror shorts films, so seeing your evolution has been so inspiring!
I’m ready for what you’re cooking up for this one. Take your time my dude. I bet it’ll be another great horror film like all your others
All of your short films are really good, each being really spooky, but Sweet Dreams is just downright terrifying. I have to limit myself to certain horror movies and short films so I can sleep and Sweet Dreams is one of the films that kept me awake. I might try watching it again though...
Update: I'm not going to sleep tonight
Looking forward to everything man 😎
Excited my lord
Lets go! Thought you were done uploading😅. Glad to have my favorite short film director back!
I'm very excited for the next film can't wait Chris!
I couldn't wait for the weekend. I'm absolutely super excited to see what happens next. I one hundred percent can't choose what my favorite movie is because they all have something incredible. Abi's Monster had a personal element. Don't look away had intense psychological torment. Sweet Dreams was a beautifully done paranormal short horror film. Knock knock had its fair share of scares in sounds and interesting concepts. Somnium is kind of a short horror film and it is super weird and just overall an amazing trippy ride. Don't Look Away has a great ability to be terrifying in the middle of the day. I have no doubt this upcoming film will be your best. I can't wait! You literally inspire me to do amazing things. Never stop doing what you love.
THE KING IS BACK YALL
Thank you so much for making my life better. Ever since I was a kid. Just thank you
The GOAT is BACK with a brand new video 🥳🔥🔥
Welcome back good to see you again. Keep up the great work.
he’s back!!
My childhood :)
OMg love that one im you number oen fan! you made my day
Wow. I'm. I haven't watched the video. In fact, I'm going to save this for the weekend so I can really enjoy it. I decided to detox CZcams for a little so I could work instead. Once I do this my actual hero posts. My phone doesn't send me a notification. I don't check for 3 days. I now have something to look forward to over the weekend.
Wow, that's high praise! I truly never thought someone felt like this about my work.
This is going to be good.😃
Vary excited
It’s would be fun if all your shorts horror was in the same universe
It's return of the kinggg!! Can't friggin wait for The Noise Next Door
Somebody give him a full movie script already.
You're a legend.
These are Hollywood-worthy movies.
Been a fan since your Nerf videos.
I grew up with them.
You're one of my inspirations for making and writing movies.
Keep up the excellent work Cacox97 (or Christopher Cox).
P. S: My favorite Short Horror film of yours is Knock Knock. It's so bizarre and unsettling.
if RackaRacka can make a actual movie i think you can too
Nerf king hath returned. Yes he’s turned down a different road but this man was one of my favorite nerf youtubers other then Nerf Socom and Nerf Boy Productions.
Les gooooo. Looking forward to it broski 👌 🙌. Don't look away gives massive slender man vibs coming from a fan of the game and even tho its short, it's s definitely the type of tense and tone done right compared to the abomination of the 2018 film.
I wonder what he uses to edit his vlog videos?
Psychological horror you say? You now have my attention completely
While I’ve always made psychological horror, this one I anticipate to be the most successful at truly messing with the viewer’s psyche. 😵💫
@@ChristopherCoxFilm can’t wait for it glad that June is the month I’ll be hyped for the most with this and the elden ring dlc
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Are we ever going to see "I don't understand" guy again?
Hi 😊
4:13 Favorite film is for sure Abi’s Monster, I really like the concept of the “monster” and how although intimidating…it created a rare aspect where the monster was mostly there to HELP the characters instead of taunting them without reasoning..which is something a lot of horror movies lately have been doing. Can’t wait for “The Noise Next Door”! Excited as always :)
More horror
I honestly don’t have a favourite I love all of them. I’m a big fan and have been since I was 10 years old (I’m 24 now jeez) but I’m really hoping some point in the future you release a dvd or blu ray box set of all your short films so far!!!
