    When I get to Tanzania , I'm going to knock myself out and spend my whole vacation in a private room in that hospital. Better than some hotel rooms I've been in. Thanks for sharing and above all else, I pray you have a speedy and complete recovery.

    Agakhan is the bomb, am forever greatful my son had hernia reconstructive surgery best service, n the food amaizing. Hope ur doing well n soon be up ir feet

    I had my gall bladder removed about 20 years ago. Outpatient surgery.

    I’m so glad you’re better. I had that issue for years. Cut out dairy, citrus foods, beans, and chocolate and try to avoid raw vegetables as much as you can, lightly steamed is better.

      Thank you for this! Yes, I don't do dairy or fried foods. My diet basically consists of fish, vegetables, fruit, water and wine (still fruit! Haha!).

    So glad to hear you are home and feeling better. Your room was very nice. I'm curious how does medical insurance work in Africa? Meaning - how are you covered? In the states there is the ACA and private insurance is that the same in the Continent?

      There are hospitals and clinics here that will take some American insurance. Cigna and Aetna are most common.

    I’m glad you’re good and well taken care of! I had a horrible experience at a local hospital with my son when he was 2 months old. Our friend/driver drove the baby and I and translated for me, but it was rough. We lived in Tegeta…so far out! Anyway, I did hear great things about Aga Khan. Also, I missed so many of your videos! Where is your husband?

      Thank you, I am sorry for your experience. Yes, Aga Khan was good to me! I am divorced. The kids' father is working outside of Tanzania as he always has.

    Oh, my! I"m so glad you're okay. Sending lots of love to you. (I had that, too, many years ago. There is nothing like that pain). I've been in ambulance here in Ecuador. It was fine and good service and treatment at the hospital). ❤️🥰

    It’s good you are doing better and you now know what the problem is. I’ve had my gallbladder removed some yrs ago. The pain I experienced prior to surgery was horrible. Dealt with it for yrs on & off also. Finally it reached its peak and I had to have emergency surgery. Once gallbladder was removed I had so much good relief. Have to eat plenty fiber filled foods afterwards.
    But anyways, Thank You for sharing about the medical care there in Tanzania 🇹🇿 . The hospital room is very nice!!. It does look like a hotel room & very spacious.

    Wishing you well and a speedy recovery. Here are a few questions. What health insurance do you have, is it international? How much was your hospital stay? Also, what school do your kids go to? I was thinking about home schooling, but only because the international school were expensive.

      Thank you! Yes my insurance is international. I would recommend Cigna or Aetna as Ive had both and could use them without any problems. I don't publicly tell folks where my children go to school. Message me on IG or email me sis.

      In Heather issues when u come hospital doc colour not make any sense bcouse the one who saved ur life is only doc that time ,but in Tanzania from private to government hospital there is mixed cast and colour and cultural Doc available bcouse in Tanzania we are here by born Indians,Arabs and Africans and even white peoples ate there in Heath all centre ,and all we are unity means love and peace ma'am welcome to Tanzania
