Minals acting was good but throughout the drama I couldn't stand her screaming it was so high pitched i would have to make sure my volume was super low everytime I watched the drama otherwise my ears would hurt

They are not ignoring him but he is just unlucky...whenever he is nominated the competitors are more strong even though he gives his best...can't help this but hope he gets any awards in future..sad for him though 😕

Aamna and Hassan praise Minal Khan's performance in every episode of jalan, I just can't see it. I'm not saying it's bad acting but I really don't think it's anything noteworthy.

Same. I cannot believe Hassan was a judge/critic. Her dialogue delivery is so flat and she has two expressions throughout the show. One furrowed eyebrows and another her smirk/mischievous smile. Her poker face on poster can be included too. I cannot trust Pakistani critics. They need to watch some really good actors if that's Nisha is their definition of 'phenomenal' actress...

Suicide too. Meenu was supposed to be "good" but she commits suicide. Asfand was physically abusive and a cheater yet he died on the prayer mat. Yahan namaz k waqt maut ache achon ko nai aati, aur yeh sahab aise he mar gaye🙄
It's not about the writers.. The production houses and channel make the writers write this crap.. That is why big writers like late Fatima Surya, asghar nadeem, wasi shah.. Didn't write for these private channels. Wasi shah himself said that we cannot write what the channels command us because the writer than cannot be creative.. The fault is of the shitty production houses and channels
It will be more respectful if you dont comment on her parda/hijab. Hijaabi girls are not Angel's that they will not commit a sin. They are humans like us and will sin too. Just because they wear hijab, doesnt mean that they are free from errors.
Honestly, the scene of Nisha at end, sitting alone, wrapped in a black chaddar and her face burned beyond recognition gave me the CREEPS.

this is where i am forced to disagree with one of my fav hosts , u r wrong about fahad being right except if u talk money, serials like jalan are extremely harmful to women and girls and is another reflection of the misogynistic mindset we have and women also enjoy it as they have been conditioned to believe that they are sinners , meanwhile men are portrayed as helpless as a vile woman manipulates them , just chk the number of women that r murdered, beaten and abused - a side note Amna' s earring are SUPERAWESUM
True... Most of these producers, actors, directors and writers have also been brought up and are a part of the problematic society we are living in. They must have the same mindset as the majority of the people. Hence, they can't see what's wrong with the content they're making.
A women getting a slap is not a big deal in all the dramas being broadcast. It's just a meagre part of her life which she's suppose to forget and forgive because her crime is always bigger.
Second, it's hard to understand why men who cheat their wives are portrayed as poor humans where as the other woman is considered to be the villain. In my opinion, the man is the most responsible because he is the one who is committed.
When I saw amna with a glass of 7up in this chilly weather I was sure there's something wrong with her today and then her lanat uf 🤣❤️

One thing that I realised in every drama now including Jalan, is that in all the graveyard scenes there are no other people except the actors whose scene is being shot. Idk if that actually makes any difference but it kind of bothers me.

In muhabbat alvida ulfat may be seeming a little postive as compared to shafaq because she is seen as negativite by everyone where as shafaq also did wrong and she is being double faced too but no one knows about that and they think that she is good.

I think that as far as why the person is forced to sympathise more with Ulfat, is because primarily Shafaq is at fault. She knew that Ulfat has lived a life where money was very important to her and she pried on that weakness.
So essentially Shafaq was in the position of power, not Ulfat, which means an added responsibility.
This time the like on the video was mainly because of what Amna said about our governments :D
She went down through memory lane with her Dad.. Would have been nice to see her have some regret about what she did to her sister. I also agree "Afsi" should not have died, h e should've stayed alive...Take care of his child. That kid is going to grow up be sooo messed up. :|
