Just try a different method of IF, one that works for you. I've made it a part of my lifestyle and it is great (not the military diet but another form). If the military diet didn't work for you, that's fine, but don't shame it. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Zach Beer Still it's pretty low.I mean it's your choice but i freakin remember eating only 300 calories a day because i wanted to lose weight.I could only go for like 3 days,but i learned that it's not the right way.I now decided to eat about 1200-1400 calories a day depending on how much I exercised.850 is not that bad but I recommend you increase it a bit,maybe eat 1000? It's a lot better and believe me you do not need to lose weight fast.Losing weight slowly while enjoying it is much better.
A tip is to never ever go grocery shopping when ur hungry since u tend to crave unhealthy foods and end up coming home with a bunch of crap! Another tip is that if u only keep healthy foods in ur house u will also eat healthy. Eat three main meals a day and 2-3 healthy snacks in between :) Great video Lexie!
yeah that's a good tip! It's super hard to follow or it will be for me, but now I am moving further away from my town area and more into like a farm area so I will be less likely to go to the store because I'd have to walk a lot and this way I will spend much less cash and also if I really wanted to go to town I'd have to walk A LOT so it'll be worth it.

I want to eat as much as I want, and what I want. I'm too lazy to do exercises. Then I find a motivation, and do all the fitness stuff. But then I lose the motivation again, and just don't give a fuck. A few days later I get sad, and depressed about my body, so I want to start again. Cora 156 It happens to me too. But the key to keep going is to be happy and excited to eat. Don't forbid yourself from eating the things you like. Just limit the portions. Eat a small meal every 3 hours. You don't need to do that everyday. You can have 3 medium sized meals a day if you feel too lazy to prepare 5 or 6 meals. Just don't force yourself to eat something that doesn't taste good just because it's healthy. For example if you don't like to eat plain eggs you can make them devilled eggs and add mustard, or you can have 2 spoons of peanut butter with your sliced apple for breakfast. Just eat what you like and eat it with healthy food and hopefully it will make you happy

While I've never gained more than a few pounds, I know when I start to feel like crap, its because I'm eating crap like pizza, soda and chips (and way to much of it). The way I feel about staying healthy is that God blessed me with good health and I shouldn't destroy the blessings He has given me! I know it's kind of weird to post a comment like 6 months later but, I just wanted to say that I am starting the process of losing 50+ pounds and I think this video will really help me. It's sometimes hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you don't have great supporters and when most weightless stories are fake, but I know yours is real and knowing that, I think will for sure help me. I LOVE this. As someone who struggled with eating disorders for 7 years I really have a hard time taking any control over my diet that isn't destructive. I think these tips are perfect and it inspires me to fix my eating and weight once and for all. (My eating disorder in short: I lost about 10-15 pounds and struggled with a couple of pounds back and forth for about 5 years, then I got depressed and gained 44 punds and that's where I'm at today, still with anxiety and fucked up eating habits). i usually hate all kind of weight loss videos because the audience here on youtube are young and sensitive, but this is so bubbly, positive and nice! I lost 40 pounds since the end of May, so 3-1/2 to 4 months...eating potatoes, wraps (vegan) pretty high carb don't avoid fat... I eat a pretty balanced vegan diet, no consistent exercise but I'll go like maybe twice a week for a run, but that's only been for the last 15-20 pounds. I started weight lifted, but that's for muscle growth... I eat whole foods and don't eat anything that isn't offering my body something positive. I made an Instagram called balanced vegan foodie, and I'm going to start tracking everything... Is she not vegan anymore?

I'm 5'8 and was like 221 at the end of May and I'm 178 now, and it flew by. For my height and I'm still about 17 pounds overweight so I'm not quite done... I gained 65 pounds over a 1-2 year period previously my normal weight before was between 155-165 and I look decent at that weight but I'm aiming for 145 but I'll see how I look and feel.
I'm not sure my measurements though... If you're really small it will probably take a little longer, and you might not lose it as easily as I did but anyone can lose weight, if you have weight to lose.

I just downloaded the Nike training app and the Shawn Johnson stretch guide alone has me out if breath and shaky. I've done it now 4 consecutive days and I can feel my muscles getting toned and stronger. I totally recommend that app! I feel great:)

I weigh twenty pounds less than I did two years ago. Water is a biggie. Never skip breakfast. I'm also a college student who commutes. My friends would always get Panda Express for lunch, but I would just bring my own lunch. Finally, I power walked.
Not only did this help me lose weight effectively, this also helped me do things that I've wanted to for a long time. Since I became fit and this tea gave me energy, I was able to do hiking. And it didn't take all this dedication and to be completely honest it wasn't tough at all... I excersize when I want to and I didn't even drink a ton of water, just when I was thirsty I just eat a whole food diet, and I feel like it just falls off I eat when I'm hungry and I stop when I'm good and full... I don't eat pointless calories everyday I make sure everything going into my body in benefiting me.
I like those ideas. One of my fitness tips when eating out is when you go to a restaurant either get an appetizer/ dessert, appetizer/salad, or a salad/dessert. Never all three at once. Find a workout that you love so it won't feel like you are exercising. Mine is bike riding. It makes me feel happy :)

You want to know how to loose weight? Don't eat sugar. You wonder why there is never a DV percentage on food labels? Daily recommended is 25 grams, that's about 5 tablespoons. Yea.....try and go with out sugar for 10 days, it feels amazing.

That's why people feel irritable if they haven't eaten sugar in a while. Giving up sugar is a short-term diet, and the second people go off it they will start binging on sugary foods.

isa actually, there is sugar that’s good. foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts and whole grains all contain simple sugars (what’s good for you) bad sugar comes from foods like candy, coffee, soda, and so on. You can’t cut out ALL sugar from your diet because it’s bad for you, if you don’t want extra sugar just cut out junk food and eat healthy foods that provide natural sugar

I used to drink coke, every day, i decide to change that by drinking diet coke, and i lost over 5 pounds in less than three weeks (i have never been over weight, i just wanted to be skinny) after that i started goning to gym and two weeks after i lost 5 pound again, without those changes, i was a size 8, now i am a 4 o 6
I know it's kind of weird to post a comment like 6 months later but, I just wanted to say that I am starting the process of losing 50+ pounds and I think this video will really help me. It's sometimes hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you don't have great supporters and when most weightless stories are fake, but I know yours is real and knowing that, I think will for sure help me. My current weight is about 195 and I want to get down to 130 and I'm going to try as hard as possible thanks to you. I LOVE this. As someone who struggled with eating disorders for 7 years I really have a hard time taking any control over my diet that isn't destructive. I think these tips are perfect and it inspires me to fix my eating and weight once and for all. (My eating disorder in short: I lost about 10-15 pounds and struggled with a couple of pounds back and forth for about 5 years, then I got depressed and gained 44 punds and that's where I'm at today, still with anxiety and fucked up eating habits). i usually hate all kind of weight loss videos because the audience here on youtube are young and sensitive, but this is so bubbly, positive and nice! I lost 40 pounds since the end of May, so 3-1/2 to 4 months...eating potatoes, wraps (vegan) pretty high carb don't avoid fat... I eat a pretty balanced vegan diet, no consistent exercise but I'll go like maybe twice a week for a run, but that's only been for the last 15-20 pounds. I started weight lifted, but that's for muscle growth... I eat whole foods and don't eat anything that isn't offering my body something positive. I made an Instagram called balanced vegan foodie, and I'm going to start tracking everything... Is she not vegan anymore?

If you don't mind me asking. what is your height and weight before hand? im trying to lose weight but seeing if I find someone who has done it successfully with the same measurement:)
I'm 5'8 and was like 221 at the end of May and I'm 178 now, and it flew by. For my height and I'm still about 17 pounds overweight so I'm not quite done... I gained 65 pounds over a 1-2 year period previously my normal weight before was between 155-165 and I look decent at that weight but I'm aiming for 145 but I'll see how I look and feel.
I'm not sure my measurements though... If you're really small it will probably take a little longer, and you might not lose it as easily as I did but anyone can lose weight, if you have weight to lose.
Good job moosh, , when I was your age, same thing happened, but I had gained between 8gh and 9th grade, snd went dwn fm a size 16 to a 6,, and basically hzve keot it off, except for last yr when I started a job, I gained about 15 since last summer and this video helps so much,, makes me remember I CAN get rid of this god damn weight,,, thanks!! Even older peeps can learn fm younger peeps, ,, I started to eat 5days a week raw vegan, and I feel sooo much better, But I love meat and candy so 2days I can have wfati want, i, but still with in reason and portion controlled

I weigh twenty pounds less than I did two years ago. Water is a biggie. Never skip breakfast. I'm also a college student who commutes. My friends would always get Panda Express for lunch, but I would just bring my own lunch. Finally, I power walked.

This was an adorable video, with some good tips. I'm curious to know, what did you flavor your water with? Hmm A couple of tips I could say is if you're gonna eat cereal, pick a yummy nutritious one. Other wise eating cereal is like an empty box of calories. Try not to drink sodas; and stay away from juices with high fructose corn syrup.

And it didn't take all this dedication and to be completely honest it wasn't tough at all... I excersize when I want to and I didn't even drink a ton of water, just when I was thirsty I just eat a whole food diet, and I feel like it just falls off I eat when I'm hungry and I stop when I'm good and full... I don't eat pointless calories everyday I make sure everything going into my body in benefiting me.

I like those ideas. One of my fitness tips when eating out is when you go to a restaurant either get an appetizer/ dessert, appetizer/salad, or a salad/dessert. Never all three at once. Find a workout that you love so it won't feel like you are exercising. Mine is bike riding. It makes me feel happy :)
