When the boss and mediator look like muggers...
*Honeywood music plays*
Lets MUG EM
LET’S MUG EM!!!!!!
What does meddlers do?
We meddle!
You know what we should do to our employees?
Yeah! Mug em!
I can feel it, white shirt Alan is going to come back
Be careful. We thought that for years and Alan's suffer continued.
I would punch everyone in that room if this happened to me
Goooooood
Thought the same!
I would literally have a melt down and then quit. I would say screw it if I'm going down im going down in style.
That was a really excellent acting!! Especially for Ben's role, he really act out that gesture of an HR so naturally!!!
This is how some companies run. Loved the video, but wow does it hit home. Poor Alan
Sleezeball character. Reminds me too much of suits I had to deal with in the past. Ben really does an amazing job though!
Holy crap, these are the videos I just can't sit through because of how friggin accurate they are and have actually met people like this in real life. Well done everyone!
I bet the RL experiences are from the USA.
@@FluffySylveonBoi from personal experience.
Yup
Yeah, it's disgusting. Employees like Alan think they own the company. And yes, it's real.
It's deadly accurate, while I didn't get a massive paycut, they (management and workers union) specifically asked me to stop performing advanced maintenance of our production equipment... that I designed and built myself. "Just only focus on the mundane work and R&D dept. will perform maintenance!". Suuuuure thing boss! *as I rolled my eyes*. Ofcoz R&D dept. had no time to invest to even comprehend the system I designed. Ofcoz production grinded slowly to a halt when no maintenance was done... and that's when I got a payrise to convince me to do the previous tasks again. That's what happens when the corp. management head (and unions) is not firmly connected to the body of workers. Oh well... 😂
When Alan said "NO!" I thought the camera was going to reveal that the mediator was a second Rowan. Ben was just as good though 😂
Really? Thumbnail made it pretty obvious who it was gonna be
I wasn't really paying attention at the time; I was making lunch when I pulled the video up. If I'd looked a little closer, then yeah, you're right, I would've seen it coming.
Rachel Samuelson lol yea i dont really look at the thumbnail, i just click a new vldl video lmao, I totally thought it would be a second rowan too
I thought the same tbh

I’m starting to think Alan, Adam and Ellie are actually all dead and stuck in some kind of purgatory.
oh man... oh god... oh man... oh god .... oh man oh god...
The Bored Series, written by J.J. Abrams
Alan and Adam yes, but not Ellie. She's Rowan's favorite.
@nuclearping She still gets messed around though... I’m definitely getting a bit of a “The Good Place” vibe with Rowan and Ben possibly being demons deliberately f**king with them.
Nah...It seems more like hell LOL
I love the way Ben ramps it up, "why don't we just give you the keys to Playtech Alan? WHY DON'T WE GIVE YOU THE KEYS TO WHOLE WORLD MATE!?"
why we don't levitate and shoot laser out of our eyes
At the end
Rowan: “Oh would you like a 50% off voucher?”
Ben: “Yes please, that would be great.”
Rowan: “Sure, let me just write one out for you.”
Hehe that coule have make sense to the... Past ? 😅😂 But great 😂

Ben: Don't forget the add 2 0s at the end.
Ah but that's for business not a personal note 🤓
The only reason that Ben is agreeing with Rowan is cause Rowan, by the RULES OF THE STREET, owns Ben.
- You lick it. You keep it. -
was just gonna say this. Alan knew it as soon as he saw him
Basicly all Alan need to do, just lick the pen and paper before use them. xD

That's his own fault. With every new episode, my compassion for Rowan grows up a bit. It's really hard to find reliable employees today and Rowan is such a gentleman for not letting Alan off after so many issues with him. Let's be honest... Rowan has a giant heart. He's a pure goodness.

Nah. Alan has been mean to Adam at times, including taking his paycheck. Ellie though… I don’t remember if Alan did anything to her.
If Ellie has been saving her salary and investing wisely - she should be able to buy PlayTech and fire Rowan if she chooses. Furthermore - if Adam truly is the cool, motorcycle man that he is in real life outside of PlayTech - he, too, has nothing to worry about! :D

Viva, for once get Alan to win something. This is abusive standards
I and a mate was discussing our time playing counter-strike during a lunchbreak at one time. One of our female colleagues was in the company kitchen preparing her own lunch and overheard our banter about typical things you hear in game. Like, 'Cuka Blyaaaat' and other funny swears we hear almost on a daily basis from foreigners.
Refresh two weeks forward and the entire company had a meeting singling my mate out that mentioned 'cuka blyat', that he couldn't say such things to our female colleagues.
The bosses simply couldn't understand the point that we were talking about a game, about things others say online and that we didn't even realize she listened in on us - not that we would've cared even if we knew. It was just random banter, she didn't even participate in our conversation.
Said workmate quit on the spot, causing my workload to double for the next three months. I refused to speak with that woman in the vicinity again, which led to another company meeting where it was 'anonymously reported' that 'the company atmosphere' has turned really bad and that we should be kind to eachother(?). That woman burst out crying, pointing fingers that I ignored her on several occasions, which I never did if it was workrelated.
The boss ignored her when I mentioned I ignored her opinions and non-work related stuff by showing the warehouse security cams. She's basically wasting away her time chatting with everyone, doing jack-all and got upset I didn't reciprocrate her ways of wasting time. Considering the waste of human resources her existance is, I couldn't be happier ignoring her. In addition, my words hold a lot of weight on company matters.
I'm basically the company web administrator in charge of all the systems and websites, including security. That woman couldn't win one over me and flipped the switch in 5 seconds flat, tears drying up and acting as if nothing happened. I've never met such a two-faced person before in my entire life. The boss reprimanded her lightly and forgot the whole ordeal in a week.
In the end, she got promoted to basically chief of 'mediation' between the workers. I'm 99.99% sure she has screwed over atleast half the male workforce by this point.
Sorry about this rant, I simply couldn't hold it in. Not to be that guy, but fuck company politics. If it wasn't impossible to find new work during covid, I'd already quit.
Sad story. It's just OUTRAGEUOS what people would do
Someone needs to say it, this is typical example of feminist at its work. The world has evolved into a state where people are not allowed to criticize someone else, if that someone else is black or female, or worst, a black female.

This one hit home pretty hard, having experienced a real workplace mediation in which I got absolutely screwed. Ended up going to court, the whole nine. I landed a severance luckily but the dudes that put me through so much hell still got off way too easily.... smh I'm with you Alan!!!
Yes, it happens all the time in law firms, of course not exactly like this dumb reason, but the kind of situation. When you stand up against unfair people(boss or something else) at first cowards joins you... but at the first real threat, they do exactly like that , betraying you, leaving you alone against the boss... People do this all the time, when it gets real, is eye for an eye....everyone just tries to protect their own skin at any cost.
Since a few situations like that, I decided to never help again, and only look for myself. People are not trustworthy.
I feel you, I had a similar experience and instead of firing the bully they have them a $50,000 redundancy package. They got another job straight away but were they were still crying about the injustice and being poor 🤦♀️
I can relate to it as well. Long story short, work is a lover you can not cheat and demand loyalty. Talk is expensive. Anyone who says talk is cheap has no work.

Upon closer inspection of this episode, I can't help but notice that Rowan and Ben basically had very similar gestures and poses throughout the skit, and Rowan was very close to Ben lol It's just an amusing detail in a skit where Ben was supposed to be an "outside mediator", but he was quickly in sync with Rowan, not just with the response, but the body language too lol They were immediately united, it's so hilarious. It is funnier to compare them with the three red-shirt peasants. They might have wanted to do this together, but they were never united, both Adam and Ellie kept their distance, culminating in them turning against Alan lol

Damn, Ben's acting is on whole other level.
Sometimes its my favorite character and sometimes most hated one.
crazy part is, ive had bosses that are dangerously close to this level of unreasonable lol, once got yelled at for stealing company time because i went to the bathroom while i was working instead of using my lunch break time. Unfortunately min wage workers are treated almost like slaves sometimes by management just because they can power trip on an almost non existent amount of power.
Of course, the bosses of min wage workers usually don't earn a lot themselves, so they treat them even worse.
And the worst part is sometimes they don’t realize how much minimum wage is. I have a store manager that wanted me to have steel toe shoes for something that isn’t even my job to do. Now I don’t have the money for steel toes and I told him that. His response word for word was “how do you not have money you work here don’t you?”
I've had very similar experiences too
We must have had the same boss. One of my first jobs I got screamed at for taking a dump. How I should have done it on break. Like this fool had no idea how the body works. I probably should have been more disturbed by the fact he would watch people entering the toilet in the first place.

Gotta agree with a lot of the other comments I saw. I love your guys work as always. You do amazing stuff. That being said I came out of this episode feeling down not laughing. Maybe that was the point to drive home just how BS it is, I don't know, but not what I was expecting/hoping to come out of it with.
