    The juicer I use is a Nama J2 juicer that I purchased directly from their website (namawell.com/products/nama-j2-cold-press-juicer). It is definitely an investment. For less expensive options, check out “Masticating Juicers” on Amazon.

    I Love juicing!! 🎁
    Good job!!
    I can't wait to be able to get a Nama Juicer!! I'm looking at your pulp... My pulp does not turn out that dry!! 😂
    **You know you can dehydrate your pulp and then blend it and it can be added to your smoothie's or baked goods for extra fiber and vitamins. 💜📖💥
    ** Also try seeded watermelon, seeded grapes and oranges to see if you like that as a fruit punch flavor. 💜

    • @yeshalester
      @yeshalester  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Ooohh! I haven’t considered dehydrating the pulp! I usually freeze it and try to repurpose it in some way. I’ll have to invest in a dehydrator.
      And that seeded watermelon, seeded grapes and oranges sounds like a winner. 😋 What kind of seeded grapes do you recommend? Concord? Red or white grapes? 🍇

      @@yeshalester Oh my pleasure 💜
      I Love the big black seeded grapes.... I'm usually in the farmers market.
      PS.
      To substitute for a dehydrator, start off at around 275-300⁰ in your oven, but check it every 30min or so. It can take a few hours.
      Some air fryers have a dehydrator option too. ☺️💜🙏🏾

    Are you freezing the fiber to use elsewhere? Add to recipes?

    • @yeshalester
      @yeshalester  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Yes, depending on the fruit or veggie. For example, carrot fiber you can freeze it and add it to a salad or a fried rice. I currently have frozen ginger and lemon pulp/fiber from my latest juice and will reuse it by adding it to a tea bag and steeping for my morning tea. I’m still exploring ways to use the other fiber from celery and apple for example, but if you know any great recipes that could use them, I would love to learn!

      I scoop about a cup of each into a large ziplock bag, shake it up, and then scoop a serving into a tea bag to steep. I get my herbs in bulk from Mountain Rose Herbs, but you may be able to find them locally as well. Hope that helps!

    How can you loose weight if you are removing the fiber and increasing your overall sugar quantity?

    • @yeshalester
      @yeshalester  Před 5 měsíci +3

      Calorie deficit. I’m most likely consuming less calories juicing verses eating solids. My digestion also gets a break in the process allocating energy towards fighting off bad cells and healing my body.
      Our body needs the natural sugars from fruits. Fruit alone would never cause weight gain because fruit heals the body. That’s why juice and fruit cleanse are so effective at reducing weight, however, I don’t recommend going months or years on solely fruit or juices without seeking professional advice. Everyone’s body and needs are different. What works for one may not work for another.

    You tell how many of each fruit that you use for your juice

    • @yeshalester
      @yeshalester  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes, for the juice made towards the end of the video, I used 1 pineapple and 1 bag of oranges (about 8-9 oranges) and it produced 3 16oz jars of juice.
      For the other juices mentioned, to produce about 3-4 jars, it was usually:
      - watermelon juice: 1 watermelon (7-8 jars)
      - apple + Brocolli/celery: it was two 2lb bags of apples and 2 packages or celery (about 1lb each) or 2 bunches of Broccoli.
      - Carrot + orange: 1 bag of oranges and 1 bag of carrots.
      I don’t usually measure how many fruits exactly as I just buy a pack/bundle, clean them, and dump it in the juicer.
      Hope that helps! 🙂

    Hello, What Is The Name Of The Tea?

    • @yeshalester
      @yeshalester  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I make the tea myself. We call it “detox” tea but it’s a mixture of
      - burdock root
      - yellow dock root
      - dandelion root
      - & dandelion leaf
      I buy my herbs individually from Mountain Rose Herbs mountainroseherbs.com/ and just scoop about one cup each into a ziplock bag, shake it up, and the tea mixture is complete. When I’m ready to make the tea, I put some in a tea bag, boil it in water, and have my serving.
