I just spent the year fighting endometrial cancer and won!...(so far) I paid some bills and bought myself a new winter coat! Proud of myself! Love watching your videos. 15:14 I heard a guy say that he stopped “helping” his wife. His mindset was he will “help” with the dishes, “help with the laundry, “help” with the kids. When he started looking at like he was “doing it because it needs done” instead of “helping” her it no longer felt like a chore. He didn’t need to take her lead. He could just look around and see what needs to be done. She has already shown him what things need tackled on a daily. So if you see a mess or the kids need to be managed you just do it. Because you are a team 🤝.
This is the most "Real" video I think I've ever seen you two make together. The bottle, lava cakes in the sink, the pretzel stuck to the sock, who has "jobs". This is real life, I love it! I personally would just use that money for my family on bills, with 4 kids everything adds up quickly.

If I had a PFD I would use it to help buy a car to replace my 2003 Toyota with 230K miles on it. As a senior I need a reliable car for medical appts so I pray everyday that she just keeps on starting for me. I am thankful that at 73 yrs that I am still healthy enough to drive and stay mobile.
He takes care of the outside. Chop wood, yard work, clears snow, etc.
My mom could use your prayers as her sister passed away this afternoon. They were estranged (not by my mom's choice) plus this was the last member of my mom's immediate birth family. My aunt was a difficult woman on her best days so my feelings are complicated. She was horrible to my mom who loved her big sister unconditionally despite the animosity and drama. My heart is broken for my mom who longed for but was denied reconciliation. Praying for peace for my mom and my cousins.

We have a deal that whoever cooks the meals does not wash up. Another is whoever hangs out the washing does not take it off the line or fold it up.

Maybe you could take a refrigerator and a small rack to your church and use the take if needed or leave some groceries for others method over the winter months. You don't have to pack the shelves yourself, maybe some bologna & cheese, bread loaf on the shelf to start it or a gallon of milk or bag of oranges removed from the bag. People will use it. And maybe a cake or box of teabags. Hot chocolate powder packets put in a tiny basket all loose. I'd take a tea bag flavored something I didn't have but like to try.
Its gonna take a village to get through this mess. A church is a village. You never know who needs what. Its easy to start and its fun to see your all doing good works.

If I had PFD I would use it to get a stable place to live. Housing costs have doubled here. I had to move out of my home of 11 years a few months ago because my landlord doubled my rent. Hoping and praying for a place to call home soon.

Alaskan apparel peices are beautiful and well made. I live in PA and I wear the sweatshirts without any coat many times in the winter because they are the perfect thickness and warmth.
I know this is an older video and you will probably never see this but thank you for making videos and sharing your life. If my family got pfd today, I would use it to get caught up on my house payments. My landlord is amazing and has helped all he can but if im not cought up my August we will be evicted. Its not even a enormous amount just $2500, but im disabled. My husband is amazing and works hard but in this economy its not enough. Please pray for us. Love Y'all ❤❤
My parents used to tell me and my 2 siblings that they have 3 dishwashers...all us kids. 😅 The parents can turn the chores over to the kids, while the parents bring in the money. ❤
doing the chores is one of the way your parents teach you responsibility and prepare you for being an adult 🙂

I grew up with 5 other siblings in the house. We were the dishwashers. When I graduated and left for college(I was the youngest), my parents bought a dishwasher!!! Good for them!

I feel your pain mama! Why don't you sit down as a family and split up the chores and rotate them? With three older kids you have a lot of help, and since you are doing home schooling and running a business your kids could pitch in. Vaccuming, dishes, some laundry, folding clothes are all things that the kids could help with. It's so good for kids to have life skills, that they will need to survive on their own.
All the time I've watched I've seen the 3 oldest doing chores.
They do help out, all the time!
I think the biggest need for us (in Alabama) is just staples and stocking up. Sam's and Costco for backstock and basic needs are our biggest expenses! I never feel like more of an adult than when I am super excited about stocking the pantry and bathroom closet :)

Very soon everyone will see a big change in USA. We won’t be struggling so bad. I know things are hard right now but if we just stay strong for a while longer we will see the light at the end of the tunnel. My grandmother told me that it is darkest just before dawn. I don’t know how dark it has to get before dawn I have a feeling it will get a little darker. But if we can hang on be strong and trust in God ,we will truly see his goodness for America.

My hubby of 43 years cooks 2 times a week. carries wash out to be hung in our Southwest yard. does all the trees and yard watering clipping mowing. He does bi weekly shopping and pays our bills I do DIY repair on home flooring painting etc. and cook clean and wash dishes

When it drops below a certain temperature for afew consecutive days the Elderly in our community get a cold weather payment. To help with heating electricity and Gas central heating. You have to be over a certain age to get that.. hypothermia is real even over here in England

We had such high temperatures during this summer that I feel the winter is going to be colder🥶than last year! I’ve been preparing by getting warmer clothes and warmer winter wear! Just starting to show signs of colder weather after having temperatures around20*c over this weekend! Although Met office believe we're going to be in for a snowy cold winter, which would be pretty cool as our winters are usually wet stormy and cold.

Good gracious SNOW!!! already. I live in NY and am not looking forward to it. We had snowmobiles growing up they were so much fun. Your family will have tons of fun. I remember we had a huge snowstorm back in the seventies and they closed down the highway and my uncle was a sherriff and asked if we could come pick up a family on our snowmobiles and the family stayed at our house overnight. Great memories.

We had snow mobile clubs in Ohio and it was so fun!!!! I miss the snow here in North Carolina unless your in the mountains we don’t see enough snow to even build a snow man. BUT I love your channel so I can enjoy your snow!!!!

I remember when fuel oil was 11 cents a gallon in the 1960's. In Wisconsin, we could burn 250 gallons in 3 weeks. PFD's could pay for collage.
Colorado kid from the 80's. Been snowmobiling since 81. Lived in Frisco in the 80's.
I enjoyed surfing through the website. Hoping that one side button shirt comes back in for my size. Things go so fast when you launch and if you didn't cash out, things leave the cart. I learned to break my purchases up quickly back to back. Love the quality for our winters in Canada.
Would be nice if we had something like that PFD here.
I'm already dreading the gas heat bill since our rates were allowed to double last October. It helps if we can throw $$ at it through the summer to create a credit.
Hydro rates were allowed to go up too, so that didn't happen this year.
So glad you have the snow machines. Key start over pull would be easier if the family needs when on their own.
Just think, next year you could get a smaller on for the girls.

I live in anchorage and I used our pfds to pay bills catch up on our car payment and bought cloths for my kids cause there out growing there old clothes, love your videos and going to watch it snow as it is snowing for the first time this season

We’re in Wasilla, AK and we use half the PFD for something practical, which this year was paying down on our car. And half the PFD for a family vacation- we’re going to TN for Christmas and will be visiting family for six weeks!

I love that you have snow! I'm in Alberta Canada and we still don't have any. If I recieved money like that I would use it to stock up on groceries. The cost of groceries here in Canada is insane! I pray for the larger families struggling right now. We are a family of 4 and can't seem to keep up 🙏

I wish we (Missouri) had snow, actually I wish we even had cold weather! If we had a PFD we would definitely use it for our heating bill, or save it to cool us in the summer. Best of luck with your snow machines, they look like so much fun.

Wasilla alaska here! PFD this year is going to all snow gear, boots, jackets, snow pants. 5 boys only 3 of them live home now. Heating oil and anything else to hold us through the winter. Sending hellos from our family to yours.

IF my state did pfd, I would pay for heat. Winter is cold in MN, have an old house and not a good heat system. Have fun with the snowmobiles! One year we needed to use ours to get to the grocery store due to a winterstrom. Fond memory.
