We are a family of 6 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! I was very glad to know in advance the gender of our child.
Knowing ahead of time gives the parents the opportunity to decorate the nursery properly. And the clothes can be gender appropriate.
I'm totally being nosy here... but I remember so many past shows with the other Jessica, and I have noticed she is never present for these big family things... Just wondering .... When I see the first opening scenes of your videos in winter I think, well, it would be too cold for me, but then I thought if you've grown up in Alaska, you are just used to it. Providing you are warm, of course. Warmth is essential in winter, otherwise life is thoroughly miserable. I loathe being cold. Do you guys know what hot water bottles for the bed are in Alaska? I always take one up to bed. So cosy.

I would like to ask prayer for me and my husband as were going through a very difficult rough patch in our life.. the factory he worked at for 8 years shut down oct 31. And were struggling financially until he finds another good paying job. We have four children and always done everything on our own we also bought are first home in 2020 we are so scared of the uncertain things of loosing our home and things getting worse.

When I was pregnant with my first in 97 the ultrasound lady asked if I wanted to know. I said no but my husband was disappointed. So I told her she could tell him but I didn’t want to know. He agreed. He told his mom (I was not aware that he did). Until my baby shower. My side was all neutral colors and necessities. His side PINK EVERYTHING!!!! My family was mad at me I was upset. So I indirectly had a gender reveal before it was the cool thing to do.
What a fantastic spread you guys put on! I would only go for the savoury things. Cakes, cookies etc are far too sweet. Congratulations on the new baby boy!
