You undertook, stopped in the middle of the lane and then held up all the traffic as they had to overtake you safely.You then went around the roundabout in the middle of the carriageway. Just hold back and think of your own safety and not that everyone should give way/ space to you.
Why did you pass all that traffic you knew are faster moving than you, so that when the lights changed you were holding all the traffic up?????
The traffic was at a standstill, I would have held them up for 25 secs, as I was delivering on the next left after roundabout. No excuse for his abuse and wreckless driving whatsoever

Irrelevant, he is entitled to move to the front of the queue, that's why there are cycle boxes at many junctions. Also motorhome should have passed at no less then 1.5 metres. This is termed "a close pass" it`s driving without due care and attention and the driving should be prosecuted. Also ,its tough, if traffic has to wait behind a bike that's too bad
He had a right to overtake.
He saved time instead by getting up to the lights. He did not hold up the traffic. They simply passed him , where is the problem?
I’m a cyclist and I think your in the wrong here, they probably had to pass you before this and then they have to pass you again. A little thought would go a long way and just because your allowed to do something doesn’t mean you have to.
Cyclists insist on this 1.5m overtaking distance but have no qualms in leaving a 1.5cm gap when passing up the inside.

@edwalker8235 understand ur point but that rule is stupid because they might be stationary for a bit if u pass then and they start moving and uv come from the right side wich most drivers do t loom at unless they hear a motorcycle good chance ull get hit and even with this the driver gets I. He didnt object to you overtaking, he objected to you overtaking him on the LEFT. I would like it if the HC had been changed to make this illegal, instead of actually encouraging it. Overtake on the right or nit at all. And NEVER overtake or sit alongside any vehicle on the side that it is indicating to turn.

Seems to me you put yourself in danger, the campervan has a huge blind spot and yet you cycle right into it just when the camper is about to manoeuvre a roundabout. This particular roundabout is diddy with 5 exits but look at the speed of the red golf, the campervan driver had enough to contend with plus his trailer and you Ponce about on your likkle bicycle complaining. This video doesn't make you look good, I have to say. If you were driving that thing would you like it if a slow bicycle overtook in a queue making it so you had to go slow and overtake it (possibly after already overtaking)? Just because you CAN go to the front of the queue doesn't necessarily mean you SHOULD.
Non of his videos make him look good. And they make cyclists in general look terrible.

Because legally speaking as long as he doesn't admit to intent he could've driven right over you, shrugged as police pluck your lifeless body from underneath the vehicle and your estate would've paid the damages. Of course you upset the driver. You filtered up the inside of a queue of traffic which had probably spent the last 5 minutes trying to pass you with 1.5m of room on a busy looking road and now all that traffic has to try and pass you again.
I ask, would it have made any real time difference to your journey to, as a road user, you had waited with the traffic?
Would it not also be safer for you as a vulnerable road user to have done it this way?
The problem with this type of video is that it proves the point that cyclist and driver need to improve there attitude to sharing the road with each other.

@Hereford out and about you misunderstood my comments, I in no way condone the actions of the driver, I only asked if both party's could have done better! And I'm sure that you will be delighted if we ever met on the road as I have always been considerate of other road users.

I go out on my bike just to meet little babies like that, love winding them up, I cycle around for hours, very therapeutic. It's not long before you meet a baby, there's an army of them out there.

Squeezing past the motorhome and into the blindspot was un-necessary. If the lights had turned green earlier and the motorhome drove on, you would have caused him to break the 1.5m rule. Inconsiderate…….. unless you’re a pizza delivery boy then the rules don’t apply. 😁
Cyclists want overtaking vehicles to give them 1.5 m clearance but will overtake vehicles on the left (the WRONG side), giving them much less clearance. Can't have it both ways!
I am a cyclist but I will never overtake on the LEFT, especially if it's a vehicle that is indicating left. Instead I WAIT (a concept that cyclists seem not to understand) exactly as I would in a car.

Only the other day I passed a cyclist giving the correct distance and then I pulled up to the lights, which were on red, what did the cyclist do? he cycled through on red, then I had to pass him again, at which point we were coming to a roundabout........ he decided that he now wanted to ride on the pedestrianised pavement...........yanker.............

I agree with the comments about you getting in front of faster traffic and then causing a hold up and frustration. Why do it you know the end result is going to be frustration. Be the bigger person and plan for your safety and the smooth flow of other trafic, you are not the only road user and certainly no more entitled than any form of transport. As someone who both cycles and drives a camper, though not as large as this one, I think you should have thought this through a bit more thoroughly. The unit you were undertaking has limited vision to the near side and towing further limits their ability to manoeuvre. On the continent it is mandatory these days for a unit that size to display angles mortes signs to the rear and sides of the vehicle to warn people such as a cyclist that they’re is a danger of getting crushed to death or at least seriously injured in an effort to dissuade people putting themselves in harms way. As others have said yes it was ok to get to the front and you have no idea of the drivers route. But,Karen, you seem upset that others have the same rights as you? Technically according to the new Highway Code you may have more than the driver of the camper but you need to be aware of when your in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Regsrdless of who is right or wrong the cyclist stands to loose the most if there is an accident. I couldnt be a cyclist on the road, too many impatient drivers. I think alot of people with head or dash cams have false sence of security or entitlement because they have proof. If you get severely injuried or worse , the footage might get the other person prosecuted, but your still damaged or dead. I d be more concerned with my self preservation over whos right or wrong. Think of number 1 and stay safe.

As far as i am concerned you are a vehicle on the road same as any other. You are asking for trouble going down the inside of other road users. This is what causes all the accidents with cyclists and motorcyclists. They do the same thing on the offside of traffic. It should be mandatory for all to stay in your stopping place when traffic stops so do you. The trouble is your using a situation for your convenience same as motorcycles.

The roads looked narrow and hard to pass you safely, so why put yourself in such danger by undertaking and then taking the centre position in front of the camper at the lights, and continuing to cross their path at the roundabout knowing you were to turn left a 100 yards later.

Overtake on the kerb side only if the traffic is stationary and there's no room on the right-hand side. If in doubt, wait. Good road positioning means not hugging the kerb.
