They took the time to make sure the shape of the flare worked around the edge of headlight but not the hemi emblem.

My 2010 Ram 1500 flares just touches the Hemi emblem. My emblem just says Hemi, not Hemi 5.7. I totally agree with your point btw.

You can drive without a fender badge, but not without a headlight...

The front flare looks really close to the Hemi badge. Does that badge need to be moved? Looks almost like it's corner is against the flare causing the flare to bend in a little.

Rough estimate of the edge trim? I started all my flares with the molding 1/2” past the flare, I had less then 3” leftover after all flares. Do NOT guess “ estimate “ how much rubber trim you will need. Keep it on the full roll and work each fender. Don’t make one miss cut because they gave me 3” extra. Other then this terrible advice, the video is accurate.

You’re leaving out the fact that these as with all fender flares will rub/scratch the paint off of the body. As well as trap dirt, debris and moisture and eventually rust out the fenders under the flares.

My tires sling dirt up on side of truck. So I ordered some on Amazon for $170. I plan to paint them with bedliner spray. I think i will put weather stripping on fender paint at edge of the flare so it maybe wont vibrate dirt into the paint and wear the paint off.

Did the flares end up preventing lots of dirt from slinging up the side of your truck? I am in the same scenario and wondering if they will help.

I'm sorry. . . Does the front driver flare cover a bit of the HEMI badge? That looks like shit.

My only complaint are the fake bolts along the edge

Bolts are not fake, they just don't hold anything. You're more than welcome to buy longer ones and drill the crap out of your truck and when they rust all to hell, you will automatically have oversized wheel wells.

You can see the flares pushing up on the emblem making it bulge out . I have the same issue with my 2019 ram . My emblem needs to be moved . Or you could put a notch in the flare .. not a very instructional vid .more of a promotional vid .

When he said the rubber gasket was "weather stripping" to get an "air tight seal" I left the video. Are you installing a storm door or some fender flares? I don't see any weather stripping on the bottom edge to prevent air and any other element from getting in behind it. Plus, the rear flare they kept showing had clear as day warps in it on each side of the bend. Looked like an x ray of someone with scoliosis. I won't even start with the front and the badge. 👎

Those fender flares will destroy your paint if you ever decide to remove them
