Lee this song and video literally changed my life as an 11 year old. I was only knowing my parents classic rock music which of course I still love but when I was shown Spice Girls I fell in love with them with this song. Wanna be took me a few takes to get into since I felt like it was rap crap at first listen. Now I love it. Instead of me going home to watch Nickelodeon cartoons and turning my sister down for the music channel called The Box I went home and watched it looking for Spice Girls. I saw Spice up your life and it blew my mind on how stunning it was. I now thank them for opening my world to new music and oldies that I got to learn as I watched everything. I then listened to the music on the radio as well. I was transitioning from child to teen. I am now 38 and love them exactly the same way if not more. I am looking forward to their secret projects coming and I love the royal stamp book. They are only one out of 6 bands chosen for that iconic honor. Truly deserved. 😊
Doctor Who recently used this song as a villain song for Neil Patrick Harris, which was one of the best villain sequences on the show in awhile. It's the first time I heard it since the 90s, so now it's all I think about 😂
