@@berealsupportive2744 they need to release the entire concert in HD. I remember getting the Live In Istanbul VHS when it was released but then on Christmas Day (in the UK on ITV) the actual full concert was show on terrestrial tv. Even as a kid I felt so ripped off!
More recently at the Spice Girls' 2019 reunion concert series (without Victoria), they mentioned (shall I say "acknowledged") as an intro to this song as written about Geri Haliwell's leaving (check out the last day at Wembley where it was spoken) =) PS. Actually this song was part of the writing sessions for the groups second album “Spiceworld” released in 1997, Geri being one of the writers. Not sure, but some say they wrote it because of a tragic accident in the UK at the time, can’t remember what it was, and this was sort of a tribute to the victims, one time Melanie C said the song was just about ending a relationship. But the song never made it to the final track list of the album. Fast forward from November 97 when the album was released to May 98 when Geri left the band in the middle of a tour, when the girls were in the US, they changed a few lyrics and made it to be a farewell to Geri, releasing the song in December 98.

Pop music in the 90's compared to now is embarrassing. As someone who despises Pop music these days, during the 90's it was a different animal. I suppose as a 33yr old now who's into proper music, Metal, Hardcore, Pop Punk etc... as a child growing up during the 90's the first single I ever bought with my pocket money was Blue by Eiffel 65 and although I wasn't into the Spice Girls I can certainly appreciate what they did for Pop music. I suppose it also helped that Mel C is an avid Liverpool fan haha!, They absolute shit all over the girl bands that followed them. Autotuned garbage!
This was the last Spice Girls CD I ever bought. When Geri left, she took the very essence of the band with her. They really should have let their final Wembley Stadium concert be their final performance as a band and 'Goodbye' as their last release. It all went downhill after this, and so fast. They weren't even recognisable as the Spice Girls by the end.
