This is so sick. Loved how you matched the figures to the screen. Thank you for supporting us! 💛
Thanks dudes! Appreciate the love! ❤️
That is absolutely phenomenal Dan! I am extremely impressed. You're so talented. Always love to see a video from you. I hope you and your family are doing well.
Appreciate you my friend and your kind words ❤️
Hey Dan. Amazing, simple to execute work. I was subscribed to your channel when searching for HP Omen 25L guides. You were the one experimenting with the particular prebuilt, so using you as a guide, I managed to transition my Omen prebuilt to a Lian Li O11 Dynamic case which looks and feels superb. I may try the 2nd screen now since I have plenty of space and glass to experiment.
Thanks Michael! 011 Dynamic cases look amazing as well, nice work on getting everything all transferred over! I have seen many monitor modifications for those cases and all of them look awesome.
love the set up man! thank you for making your channel. Your videos have helped so many! keep up to darn good work my guy.
Appreciate you Nate, thank you so much.
This was a great video. Really enjoying the information/talent you provide.
Thank you so much, that’s really nice of you to say. I appreciate you saying that.
Looks super clean in that case hope your keeping well great job👍
Thanks Bailey
hey Dan love your journey for your pc and am ever excited to see you grow in this endeavor as for the concern with the logo i would recommend to try skinning it with a nice decal to add the dankamyouknow flavor...just food for thought but hope you keep on rocking
I appreciate your comment and that’s a great tip! Thanks so much for your support my friend ❤️
Gonna be doing this to my y60, I just finished my first pc build ever. Came out awesome but I'm gonna do this with a star wars theme🤘
Nice! Enjoy your new build 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Great video as always! You’re the best.
Thanks babe
that's sooo cool !! it's a great idea, keep up the good work =)
Thanks so much Josh!
Very cool! Found you looking for HyteY60 builds. The monitor is very trick!
Thank you! Appreciate your comment my friend 😎🤝😎
Looks cool. I got the one for the pillar in the front. I havent installed it as of yet. Waiting on a new PSU to come in before adding that in and new cables and having to wire the one i got in. Thanks for the vid. I just built a new PC after 5 years. I went with the Y60. LOVE THIS CASE! 😁😁👍👍
I am not using this case anymore but I loved the Y60. They just released the Y70, which is a bit bigger than the Y60 and comes with a touch panel in the pillar!
@@DanKamYouKnow ... what? Lol. I literally finished my build not even 2 weeks ago. I saw no Y70! 🤦♂️all good though. This case does the job and looks awesome. 👍
Y70 is also $360 lol, so I think the Y60 is a better value anyway! Have fun with your new build!
Dan the PC enthusiast. You can’t leave one of your builds alone can you lol. It looks awesome man.
Definitely cannot. Thanks dude!
Thanks bro , this is awesome. I will be adding 1 also 😍
You’re welcome! That’s awesome! Good luck my friend.
Thanks! Very nice job 👍🏻
Appreciate it! 👌🏻
Im going to try this out. Thanks!
😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My favorite is the scream one, especially the way his cloak waves in the wind!
I didn’t even notice that it was waving in the wind! 😂
Personally i prefer this over the commonplace for the lcd mode in the side pillar glass. I feel that going that route kinda defeats one of the major appeals of the case. Thanks to you tho, ill be doing it in the rear. Looks way better almost like a screen is meant to be back there. There is already three fans up top for exhaust so yea, why the hell not. Love it. Oh, and ALSO, I noticed in more recent videos of yours you use the y40... any particular reason or is it the average reason of more gpu clearance?
Hey! I totally agree. I think the middle glass LCD screen doesn’t look good and completely blocks the entire build. The rear placement monitor is the way to go, it’s fits perfect like you said.
I went with the Y40 for content purposes but I honestly much prefer the Y60. I do like the cable management for the Y40 but think the Y60 is more unique and optimized a little better for airflow. I still have my Y60 case and may go back at some point
the logo on the casing of the little monitor, im sure a little solvent would remove it pretty easy or a sharp exacto knife under it and yoink it
It appears to be etched in
Keep up the vids man!
I caught you in vanguard not too long ago but you bailed real quick. Let’s game together sometime
Thanks so much! I haven’t played Vanguard much at all lately but played for like 5 minutes the other day LOL. You’ll have to message me on Discord and I’m down to play some time, I can’t think of my Activision account name so I’ll have to look it up
2-3 degrees for something like that inside the pc its still worth it to me, it just looks too cool. I just got a 3070 and it doesnt fit inside my case the card has 3 fans with the one in the middle being rgb ! makes me want this case even more due to the vertical gpu mount. This is thepc case im getting next switchin from a 220t
It’s a wonderful case! So much room to build and is so unique. I love it
I am planning to make a build with this same case but anyways i love how you did this with the screen but i was wondering how ur fans r im going to replace my bottom 2 as 140mm intakes and then my aio in the same spot as yours as intake as well and then have the top 3 exhaust because i would love to do this with the screen and im sure it will be fine with just 3 exhaust fans but I'm assuming that's the way yours are but do u mind clarifying and maybe making a video on controlling the screen? please and thanks love the vid
Hey, thank you! So, my fan setup is exactly as you described: 2 140mm bottom intake fans / 2 120mm fans on the side mounted AIO as intake / 3 120mm top fans as exhaust. This way, I have a little bit of positive pressure which is usually more desirable.
So as far as the screen, it works just like an additional monitor. As soon as it's plugged in with the mini HDMI cable, Windows will recognize it and you can go into display Properties and change the settings. I just had to reposition where the monitor was in relation to my other 2 monitors, and change the display orientation to Portrait ( flipped ). It automatically changed the resolution for me ( 800 x 1280 ).
Other than that, I am use Steams wall-paper engine to apply the different backgrounds and now I am using Aid64 to set up a custom sensor panel with all my PC's vitals.
@@DanKamYouKnow thats amazing thank you for the response that's exactly what i needed to know
Hey Dan I have a question for when you had the Omen motherboard from HP, With the Omen motherboard do you know if a heatsink will fit the m.2 ssd with those capacitors being so close to it?
It should but I never tried.
Are you going to keep it on a wallpaper or monitoring sensors?
I currently have an Aida64 panel that I have pinned to my other monitor but will create a new one, once I have time too 👌🏻
do you think that a grey and black cable extension would look good for the gpu and motherboard i was thinking about a white and black but i think it would throw off the colors because i dont have any white in my upcoming build that or red and black what would be ur thoughts on each off those different color choices?
Yeah, gray and black would look amazing I think. I do agree with you that white and black or red and black would be a little too “loud” in the build. A nice subtle gray and black would be sweet 👌🏻
i have this case and i was thinking about putting a monitor on the short lil side of the glass. on the inside of it. that way i dont sacrifice a fan or any vents and it can be bigger
Hyte actually makes a panel kit for the middle glass for it. I’ve seen them post a ton of pictures of it on their Instagram.
hey im really considering this case however all the case reviews ive seen state not to use a 3slot gpu due to the temps. have you noticed any high temps with the gpu you have glass on. i have the same gpu.
My EVGA 3080 was between 74c-78c during its benchmark with the case, and pulling about 385w. So a little toasty but this card just runs warm. You can run this case with the 2 side glass panels off as well. This case is definitely not the best for airflow but it looks so damn cool, and temps aren’t that bad. I provided stress test information on this video:
czcams.com/video/yKzbWr4geps/video.html
Hey dan may i ask what kind of action figures do you use to place in the case.
Or they just regular action figures. Thnks for the video. Pc is wonderful
Hey! The majority of my collection are McFarlane figurines, with a good amount of them being made by NECA. 👌🏻
@@DanKamYouKnow thank you. You know!!!
😎😎😎
Very killer dude....
Thanks!!!!
It would be cool if you could run a program on it where it would show you temps and speeds while it’s running
I actually do have that on it now using Aida64 for a sensor panel. I unfortunately didn’t do it until a week after this video.
Were you able to peel the logo off? Another thought was sharpie / mark-a-lot marker the logo? (Note: I've seen others using AIDA64 output to that monitor) EDIT: Side mounted AIO fans set to 0 RPM?
Logo won’t peel off, it’s etched in. I do use Aida64 with this monitor for a sensor panel. My fans were not set to off, where did you see that?
Nice, yes I noticed in your other videos. Great content, keep up the good work!
Thanks my friend 👍🏻
Is there the option of not connecting the monitor to the GPU via HDMI so that it is not recognized as an extra monitor.
But simply via USB?
It's annoying when the PC recognizes this as another monitor
I have a question? so the display is 60hz and when you connect a display with a lower refresh rate with a higher one it would make the display with the higher refresh rate match the one with the lower one (in this case the display in the case) how did you remedy this?
Windows Display Settings. You can set each monitor to a different refresh rate.
Hey Dan. I have a question unrelated to this video. I have an omen 25l and added 2 120mm fans. I feel my smaller stock exhaust fan is blowing harder. Can I tune my fan speeds individually?
There the same 120mm noctua fans u have in one video.
No, only fan speed adjustment is through Omen Gaming Hub.
Have you considered tinting the glass of the case? Looks like i'm planning to get this case and want to tint it but really wish someone had an example of how that actually looked. Also another question about the display: still working fine? reading a review that it basically broke in less than 2 months.
I actually have not but would be cool to see how it would come out. You would have to talk to a car tinting place to get it done, or maybe elsewhere. I honestly think it would be too dark for the style of case it is.
I am not currently using this build but the monitor is still working fine for me ( I’m using it in other ways ). I have noticed that the monitor I bought has been out of stock on Amazon for quite a while now, so they might not make it anymore 😬
@@DanKamYouKnownot sure if youre gonna read this but managed to buy this screen on amazon fr for 60 euro. Arrived with the logo on the back, instead of ghe front. Looks the same otherwise
Interesting! My Amazon Associate page still shows that it’s currently not available. I am still using this monitor and it’s work great 👍🏻
@@iben3271 do you have a link?
Hi dan. Any update of the portable monitor on the case. Cause im planning to buy one and put on my hyte as well but im not sure if the portable monitor are good cause i saw on amazon the reviews are bad
So, I’ve had this one for about a month now and no issues! I was a little worried because there was only one review on it who said it didn’t last more than 2 months without color bleeding. So far so good with mine 👌🏻
hey dan i have a question how do you connect the little monitor to wallpaper engine thanks
Well, the small monitor is an extra monitor for me, so when you go into Windows Display Settings and position the 7” monitor per your layout, it should automatically populate within Wallpaper Engine.
@@DanKamYouKnow thanks alot
The most useful thing would be to have a constant temp and performance stats displayed on it
Yup! I had an Aida64 panel up for awhile but it got hard to see certain vitals. PC is about 3-4 feet, so was hard to make our certain vitals I was monitoring. It looked great though
Do you have a video where you explain how to put the images on the screen?
I do not, but all you have to do is treat it as another monitor. I would drag YT videos over to it and it will automatically resize. Or you can use something like Steam Wallpaper Engine and place animated wallpapers on the small screen.
what software do you think would work for displaying temps, fan rpm, etc on the monitor like you see on that 12" high monitor everyone is putting behind the corner glass?
I like AIDA64 for sensor panels. It’s a bit tricky to get setup but it covers everything.
well, all done. I've purchased a switched USB cable which let's me turn the monitor off when the computer is not running. I did purchase a skin, looks decent for about $10. Aida sells 600x1024 skins, but no way will I pay $30 US for one.
Yoo dan got another question for my y60 i need 3fans for the top of the case.
What fans do you recommend rgb of course.
I would like 2intake an 1 exhaust if thats possiable.
I am new to gaming pc. I have the ibuypower y60 build.
What’s your budget?
@@DanKamYouKnow i prolly could spare bout 250
Also having a issue where i click the asr polychrome rgb app. To change color of fans, ram, an gpu color.
But when i open the app. It gives me a
Access violation code. Now i cant change the color cause the app wont open 😂
Origin also has like froze the apex legends download 😂
But i love this PC.
I have never used the Polychrome app but most of those RGB programs can be a little unreliable. I would highly recommend looking into the Lian Li SL Infinity 120 fan trio! I also did a video on them in the Y60 case, they have been fantastic. Although they are $100 for 3 fans and a controller.
@@DanKamYouKnow thank you you know ya a big help. Definitely going to look at ur video on the fans. Sounds great.
Do you have any recommendation for rgb program to control the lights.
For the Lian Li fans? Or RGB in general? For the LL fans, you’ll want to use L-Connect 3 software. For RGB plugged into your motherboard, you can usually use the software that the manufacturer of the motherboard makes.
Does the other suggested monitor work with Windows 11?
What the website that you get the action figure or statue from? Also what the size should I get?
Hey, the figures in the case are made by McFarlane and NECA, and they are all 7” tall. They make a wide range of figures so you can search those 2 makes and you should find a lot of them. 👍🏻
@@DanKamYouKnow Thank you very much
Would it possible to mount a screen in the front somewhere?
Possibly but not sure how it would be done. Wonder if someone is going to make a panel replacement monitor like they have on the Lian Li O11D
Hey, im curious about the scale of your fig, I want to pull a fig in there
Hey! Majority of my figs are McFarlane and NECA, and they are 7” tall 👍🏻
if you haven't already vinyl wrap around the display to hide the logo on it
That’s is a really good idea
Hey Dan, I bought a 25L hp omen and it only has a ssd card and I want to add a hard drive even tho I see other videos you can add to some pc two hard drive but the problem is I don’t know how to add it to the omen hp 25L, any tips or help, on how to do it? Also can I add two hard drive to the 25L? And will I have to activate any software after adding the hard drive? Sorry I’m new to pc builds thanks
Little strange to comment on this video lol, but I did a full tutorial on it through the Omen Discord linked in the description. It’s in the FAQ channel
@@DanKamYouKnow ok thank you I’ll look for it, and sorry for commenting on this video about it lol, thanks tho
if you really wanted to you could probably scrape the logo off if its glued on
I wish I could but it’s etched in to the case of it 😩🥲
I actually ordered the screen off Amazon and it’s not the same kind as yours. It’s still the elec brand but my back isn’t covered like yours and doesn’t have the power button like yours either. Mine looks open in the back and has the brand name in the back as well.
Interesting. I noticed that a couple weeks after my video, that they stopped listing the one I used on Amazon, no idea why. Maybe the discontinued it or something, not sure. How is yours? Work good?
@@DanKamYouKnow well I literally just got it in yesterday and I’m waiting on the rest of my other pc parts to arrive to start building. So haven’t tested it yet it anything.
Gotcha. Have fun with the build! 👍🏻
@@DanKamYouKnow thanks man, appreciate it!

@@DanKamYouKnow you got a sub from me. Not only do i likee your videos, but you actually reply to comments
Thanks Steven!! Appreciate the sub and glad you like my videos!
How do you keep that GPU cool, my ROG 3090 runs hot and the fans spin up quickly
At stock power settings / stock fan curve, my GPU gets up to about 77-78c, which is a little on the warmer side but totally safe. If I increase the fan speed curve a little bit with a slight under-volt, it stays around 70-72c, with zero loss of performance. I would look up videos on under-volting your GPU.
@@DanKamYouKnow Put your GPU in the horizontal position and retest, you will be surprised. I had to use a bracket, but it works....
What kind of bracket? The appeal for me with this case is the vertical mount. After doing some settings adjustments with Precision X1, my GPU temps are around 72c, pulling 360w. The 77c I was hitting before was almost 395w.
Nice
I Will try to do something like this but there I have a fan, I Will try to put on some other place 😅
How did you change orientation?
Windows Display setting. You’ll see an option that says landscape or portrait
can you give me a new link of another screen because that one is no longer available
Honestly. I can't really find other screens that have those exact same dimensions of: 167x118x10mm. This one is really close but doesn't have the nice bezels:
amzn.to/3FJnhSv
MOST people are running this one that I know for sure fits and works perfectly:
amzn.to/3h9eQp8
You will just have to mount it differently to the back of the case.
@@DanKamYouKnow Last question, do you recommend the 7-inch or 5-inch screen? I feel that the space will be very tight,
7” is the absolute max so you’d have a little more wiggle room with a 5” screen for sure.
where do you purchase your figures
Majority of my figurines are made by McFarlane or NECA. If you search for those 2, you’ll find a ton of figurines they make. I mostly get them from Amazon and also local shops to me. Even Target and Walmart carry them.
cool
Cool stuff! Now your gpu can watch youtube :)
HAHAHA! Thanks!
I feel a 12.7 in vadisplay on the corner glass peice will look better
Yeah, people have putting putting displays where the corner glass piece is. It definitely looks cool but blocks some vision of the inside of the PC.
@@DanKamYouKnow its just what want to do im going to be building in the case for my pc in about a month or 2 does the resolution have to match your monitor resolution?
No. My little monitors resolution Is much much lower, and it works fine. You can set it up in Windows Display settings
Looks good tho but i rather have a exaust fan..
even if the original screen did fit, the one you ended up with asthethatically looks way better, less bezels
I agree. It looks much cleaner.
next time explain how you install the pictures and gifs
Is it safe to put a figue in the y60 case?
For sure. It gets warm in a PC case, not not hot enough for it to melt the figure or anything like that. I put a figure in just about every PC I build 👍🏻
@DanKamYouKnow sweet I was thinking of putting a beemai dark souls figure inside my y60 case
kratos the man himself
😎😎😎😎😎
How much have you spent so far on this?
I think around $2,500 - $2,800

@@DanKamYouKnow hey dude just managed to get me the same model as you got the last one off ebay it arrived today mine didn't have the branding on the front my branding is on the back so weird
That is so weird! I’m still pissed about mine 🤣. It’s still working really well so I’m happy, the only other reviewer said his started color changing after like a month.
There is a screen u can buy from hyte.
This was made before that screen came out. And I don’t like how that screen blocks the view from the build, since it sits in the corner glass piece. It is still pretty cool though
Kratos 😀
😎😎😎
Maybe heat and try to remove the logo
I thought about that but I don’t think it’s just adhesive. It’s etched into it. I’m over it now lol
Too bad the glass is so tinted you had to remove all the glass panels so we can see anything inside the case
That’s actually not the reason why. I removed them because when the glass side panels are on, I was getting reflections when trying to film all of the beauty shots.
@@DanKamYouKnow Hmm, I bought this very same case recently and I found that everything inside those super tinted glass disappears .. You have to trow in a lot of RGB crap to illuminate what's inside, otherwise it looks pitch black with black components inside .. They should have made 2 different versions of this case - one with clear glass panels and one tinted for RGB
Tik tok? Bruh…

glass is stupid i hate glass!
Why’s that?
capital letters are stupid i hate capital letters!
I desperately need to know what temps you get with the glass panels on. Under load and idle for cpu and gpu. Without wallpaper engine on I keep looking and can’t find the exact answers I’m looking for
So I did do a full in-depth review of this case with all thermals ( all tests done with side panels on - they were only off in this video to show off internal components ):
czcams.com/video/yKzbWr4geps/video.html
My results may vary from yours but I have a Ryzen 5600x and with precision boost over-drive turned on, I saw a max temp of 73c under during a R23 benchmark ( 100% CPU utilization ). My GPU is a 3080 at stock clocks ( pulling almost 390 watts though ) and stock fan curve and it hit 77c during it's heaven 4.0 benchmark, which fully stressed the GPU. Idle temps are pretty irrelevant but the CPU and GPU both idle in the low 30's.
@@DanKamYouKnow with the gpu benchmark what resolution and settings? Also ty for the reply I really appreciate that
No worries my dude. 1440p / Ultra / Tessellation: Extreme
