My concern with the underglow setup you've decided on is that it blocks airflow. You could have accomplished the same with Phanteks strips and it would have been much smaller and thinner.

You should look into wled, wemos D1 mini's and WS2812B. your smart enough to make your own much superior rgb strips. it would have no jaggedness like the razor strips have. but you have just convinced me the Y60 is my next case top content!
Awesome video and build. Wha RGBt PSU extensions are you using? I must get my hands on a set. Again, great video.
How did you connect the RGB light strip underneath? Did you run it directly into the 3 pin RGB header on the board? Or into a Razr hub? And will just the expansion kit suffice or does one need the whole light strip kit?

Your ram might have to be re-seated. Happened to my pc during a rebuild. It would turn on no boot then shut off then repeat the cycle. Also you can find problem by the little lights on your motherboard, like (BOOT), (DRAM), (CPU), and (VGA).
What RGB power cables did you use? Not sure if I missed it or it was mentioned.
The same thing happens to me when I put together my Y60 I unplug everything and plugged back and start working fine I love the Y60 my favorite case so far

12:09 what are those cables that have RGB? Like do they have an actual function? Or are they purely for looks
I like the modern look, but might be a tad too small for my liking. I'm doing a new system next Summer with a 4090 TI in mind for myself. If I build a PC for my wife next year, I may consider this case though because I know she would dig the modern look.

What are the temps looking like?
The idea of sticking some underglow lighting onto the case is actually genius.
But now it restricts air getting in to the bottom fans..
How were your thermal testings?

really serious question.. what are the temp readings you are getting with the glass case on ? i really want to buy the case and I have the 2080ti aorus which is 0.4 cm more thicker than yours (really had to dig deep for the exact stats of it lol). do you have issues with cooling ? does the gpu fans go absolutely wild during gaming periods ?
some temp examples would help me a lot here as my build would be really similar to yours (cpu watercooled and the airflow of your fans)
I have the same case (in white) and have a 4080 and my temps are just fine. Running two 140's on the side (intakes) , one on the back (out) , the two that came with the case on the bottom pushing in thru the GPU, with the 3 AIO fans pushing out thru the rad/top). There is hardly any room between the glass and the GPU with as big as it is but everything runs surprising cool within normal temps even playing on ultra
@@cdub0394 good to hear. I got this case for my 4080 FE. I put two 140mm fans on the bottom. 120mm for exhaust rear, 3 120mm top exhausts and 2 120mm aio side fane (all nzxt) I got worried that the card would suffocate. I should be done building it soon. I hope the card does ok
@@Nick-zc2yu it should. What I like about the case is with all vents made into the case you get plenty of air flow thru it. You should be just fine

Hi there, would like to ask for opinion for hyte y60 black with white components build (msi trio 4070ti ,g skill trident z5 ,nzxt elite 360,asus prime z790, lian li sl v2 white fan) will it looks weird? Because from wat i research ppl usually go full black build or full white build. Anyone can share me their opinion for their hyte y60 black case with white build , thanks!

I'm willing to wager it was *not* your Idea to run without the glass. I bet you broke it. It *is* tempered, and it does have a bit of an odd way about it putting it on and removing it.

just use rgb fans on the bottom there facing down it will give you a underglow effect
You know that the vents are pushing the air out of the case right?
@Robert Friesland they have exhaust fans that have interchangeable blades so you can have exhaust and intake no matter wih way the rgbs are facing.
This is a nice case but nothing compares to Lian li like that case is just so nice especially the evo

No horizontal support is perhaps the most idiotic case design decision ive ever heard of. The lack or vertical triple slot is quite common actually so im used to it..but no traditional horizontal support is beyond stupid.
So in other words “it’s not what I’m used to so I don’t like it”….closed minded much?
