- A guide to training slayer levels 1-120. In this guide I summarize all the important information you need to know to level up slayer. Please keep in mind that slayer is a comprehensive skill with lots of little details, this guide is supposed to be a guideline for your slayer training. Slayer tasks are can vary in gear, perks, relics, setups and more and thus I suggest watching specific creature guides for more detailed information, linked below. Since co-op slayer is something players rarely do (and there is little use for it) I left it out of the guide this time.

One thing worth pointing out for the level 90+ XP prefer list, if you don't have shadow creatures in a personal owned slayer dungeon (or a friends one you can use) prefer soul devourers instead and do Crocodile Akh's.
As of Necromancies release low level combat creatures have been rebalanced and are significantly stronger and may affect your xp rates.

Step 1: Do tasks.
Step 2: Repeat step 1 until 120.
I'll admit I raged a bit when I returned to rs3 and saw the changes , but with time and most of all your guides and other peoples guides I've been able to get back into it , thanks
Helpful guides for sure, I was around in the OG days, and have returned over 20 years later, so I’m catching up now and relearning a ton of stuff
So happy to see a new slayer guide out, wanting to get 99 before Necro comes out
once you get 99 you'll see how easy 120 is... at least we have a cape thats badass but dont need to retry kiln and zuk over and over i'm getting kiln i watching vids how to get it but man oh man my pc is slow so i hope death darts work since kiln is old old old i loved old school kiln cape man was it ever legendary

They changed a lot of little things and I wanted to shorten my original one, so here it is :)
I would like to put out a very helpful tip for people pushing for 120
Take the 2 hours and unlock the Mask of the abyss in shattered worlds (135m anima). This allows you to guarantee an abyssal demon task once a day. Do your daily lords, use the dedicated slayer aura so that way you have a 15% chance to not lower the amount needed to kill and extend them where possible. This is literally a free 300-500k xp a day minimum and saved me about 3 weeks of time in the end
I also normally do this right around daily reset so I can do the first task and immediately do another while my aura's still up. Only have to do 1 hour every other day.

Cerberus juvenile in ED4 can be safespot for hellhound tasks, i found legacy mode speeds up the kill, not very quick having to kill the first set if mobs and reset each time but 5000 dg tokens a go and can take some lucky charms to increase GP
Also need a re-done smithing guide, the other guides are a little outdated in terms of quality and organization. cool video!
Yo protoxx I’m a huge fan.love your videos. I think it’s a valuable bit of info that slayer vip tickets are an extremely common reward from the mimic kill token on easy mode I’ve been farming them for a while and I’d say it’s close to a 35-40% drop rate just off the top of my head!

In the grotworms defense they do drop Sara brews(2) pretty often so it's a great task if you need supplies like food or pots , as well as royal d hide
for ironmen i'm sure they are worth it
So glad I decided to grind shattered world right before pump buff got nerfed. sometimes when something is buff and another thing unintentionally became better its good idea to grind it out immediately before a nerf takes place. Sad Ill never find shattered worlds fun again... it costed an arm and another arm for 120, but it was fun

It may not make sense for a Comped Player right now. BUT! if Jagex makes FSW 2.0 Revamped, then these guides will be godsend.
Still, for the newbies is always great to have updated guides, Reddit specifically always ask for guides, so this is perfect timing.
Jagex changed a lot of little slayer things a while back so I thought I had to change my older guide, it's still decent just outdated.
I lamped to 99 from like 60 by putting all my daily keys towards slayer :D

Can anyone offer advice, Slayer task is to kill vampyre's wiki says thats godwars dung, that is past my scope right now, im 40atk/40str/48d/48range/40mage is there someplace else I can go or am I sol until I can do godwars.
Just found out ikea girl also gives you iron dragon tasks apparently, why is everybody blocking steel and not those? Also read that somebody dont block either cause they're quick tasks. What do people do?

I use magic and animate dead for most tasks yes. Sometimes though melee can work nicely. I usually use it when I need the scrmshaw of vampyrism for heals, such as at Shadow creatures in my Personal dungeon.
Rarely ranged is the style of choice, like for nihils

fyi you can get your Reaper Task from the Reaper Gem. No need to go to Death once you have that.

For the greater demon method, don't trust people asking you to help them out with KBD :)
In terms of afking most slayer tasks, should I buy an inquisitor's staff or Nox sythe? Every guide for afking never really specifies if melee or magic is better.
It's situational. Inq staff is only best in slot against melee classed enemies (such as ripper demons, moss golems & dinosaurs)
you still need a nox staff for certain tasks such as ganodermics.
if you have animate dead though, u'll probably be using magic to afk most tasks.
Get a nox staff or inq staff, then buy at least a dragonrider lance for tasks where you'd like to use a scythe

There are a few more patches but the main thing is that with the upgrades from the garden of kharid you can plant 10 at a time in each patch. You make a considerable amount more

My current one, while a little aged is (mostly) still relevant. The main changes are divination QoL/mini rework.

Absolutely! I play a lot of other games. I've got a lot of hours clocked in some cod and battlefield games, play a decent amount of world of tanks, enjoy campaign games like far cry, multiplayer survival games such as Ark Survival evolved and so on :)

Not even close to the xp u can get by just farming them seperately. The ed2 reset method was also patched :(
I’m on my final task for 120 slayer right now, but I’m gonna watch out of curiosity! Who knows maybe I’ll go for 200m :)

They are okay money at best and also okay slayer experience. You're better off doing other tasks. The task also takes a while to complete.
Like I said slayer block/prefer lists are a little bit personal

@@BadBoiFilms You can continue to do airuts if you like them, they aren't anywhere near as bad as dagannoths but they do have very high task weighting

protox did you know about shattered worlds getting nerf ? unlimited adrenaline nerfed for after dragon special abilites abusing.
Yep! "Power grows" has been nerfed, so its harder to get high anima rates like I mention in this viddo

While that is very much the meta (lol wtf happened) I don't think everyone wants to sit at those demons all the time and won't always have the task

Greater demons must have gotten nerfed? I took the contract, went to this spot and killed 1 of each. Instead of 12-15k slayer xp per kill I got 2-2.8k
you're supposed to use the contract as a 20% XP BONUS! haha :)
you still need a greater demon's task to get the base xp ^^

How is everyone so dense lol why is every guide like "here's a level 1-99 skill guide. Your first step is to be maxed in every other skill to at least level 99".
