No one ever mentions this, which explains why I went years not knowing, when on the bank presets window (Where you can see all your presets listed) You can click and drag to move presets around. I spent years overwriting presets in to my first 2 slots for quicker loading until I happened to casually see a friend doing it when streaming to me on disc

That's UI 101 though. It's intuitive these days. You should always at least try dragging because it's prominent in nearly all touch screen applications. That's why no one mentions it lol.
@@TheSCPStudio Touch screen? I'm not talking about mobile lol.. RS is a PC game first, not a mobile game, mobile has only been around for a year, most of us have played for the better part of 2 decades lol

7:37 you can drag those numbered prayer icons to your ability bars.
This way you can activate quick prayers using keybinds.
I think one of the tips I always give a new player is action bar binding. It so useful to have it auto change an action bar depending on the weapon/type that is equipped. Works with bank presets too. Can find it here:
Gameplay > Combat & Action Bar > Action Bar Binding.
Something many also don't know is that when you are in the bank preset window, you can drag and drop stuff from your actual inventory or equipment, to the backpack or inventory of the preset. Useful if you need to make a quick little adjustment.
For Ed3 instead of logging out you rejoin matchmaking using your group chat interface and then it turn it off and ready up. You can create a new run immediately.
That auto extend aura setting is a godsend
2:45 Note for Alt1 users: you can't use Alt1 Toolkit if you do this.

You know if you're in Mory, it won't consume a charge? I usually just lodestone to canifis and go from there. Slightly more time but I haven't used any charges in idk how long
You can also ecrophial into medallion for no charge.

That Dwarven army axe is so good, I recently started a new Ironman and the free crafting xp from the knots and lapis were great!
9:53 So long as you've used a portable skilling station you only need to remain in its vicinity and you'll get the benefits for a couple minutes (Over 5 I believe) e.g You can bank stand in the g.e on w84 after using the station once
Freedom Classis camera mode is the best tip, wish I knew about this earlier. The extra zoom is huge
Yo that Drake Medallion with congealed blood blew my freakin mind! I use that for clues allll the time and I had been making sure it never ran out cause I kept dipping it into the blood pool. 10 charges doesnt last btw! That just helped me so much.
If you never want Drakens medallion to use a charge you can ectophial to ectofuntus and then teleporting with the medallion for free.
4:37 And this works with the lumbridge ring as well, which is a lot easier than navigating its interface and accidentally cabbage-porting myself.
7:20 didn't know any of that either, wow. Was always annoying trying to exit my current aura with 30 secs left to add the next one quickly mid combat.
8:13 Also had no idea you could tick-eat the blubber, the brew, AND the food at the same time. I knew brew + food but not all 3, which I should really consider taking advantage of since I have the +10% extra health from food perk on.
The alching also works with legendary pet, niche but interesting

The options at gameplay tab is so vast, has so many options and hidden ones, that I think that tab deserves a video just to cover what every option do. Hey protox, i think this is a great idea

@@xXzacatak660Xx 99% sure it's intentional, picking up items on mobile is a chore, even with the large loot area. Keep accidentally tapping things, and you have to tap and hold to get the menu to open the box, and area loot closes automatically when you've picked up everything in range.

Pretty much all of this didnt exist when I started. But I did learn something new, mainly the quick saving preset.
I like the fairly new familiar settings. But, I think they didn't dive in far enough to compensate for attack style. I like to use reactive and call follower with a range familiar while ranging.
I don't really use drakens anymore due to having boss portals but I definitely didn't know you could charge it with congealed blood
Shout out, been playing for years and some of these are a huge qol improvement. Jagex needs a settings interface rework asap
The thing I learned was the automatic use of prismatics/lamps/etc and that there was a new rune pouch. Been a LONG time since I logged in.
I laughed way too hard at that intro, literally the best RS3 CZcamsr around.
I recommend the Shattered Worlds skybox setting if your game is too dark on mobile. The game was almost unplayable for me before I made this change. (On mobile, long press the map icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen to access the skybox/filter settings.)
It also depends on which area you are.
For Brightness "Daystone" skybox will always be the best one around. For less eye strain "Nightstone + Warm Filter" is an amazing combo, with "Amber Haze" being also a great skybox although extremely annoying to obtain.

Yeah, that's the thing with playing for so long. Once you quit, Jagex adds multiple QOL features you miss during that hiatus.

can you make an ironman start guide? like level 20 in everything (including 3[4] easy 80s to get 20 invention), pile of quests, ect. styled for Fresh Start of course, but I, at least, advise avoidance of the volatile market in a guide for the game mode.
At 2:58 - I just followed your UI setup guide. I have a 2k ultrawide monitor so I tried scaling above 100%, but noticed all the text in the game got scaled up as well. Pretty much any tooltip or popup had text that became unreadable. Does the chat box text size fix that as well?
You can only scale so much (Chat box/buff bar). I scaled my interface in that video purely to simulate a 1080p monitor. If you do have a 1440p monitor like myself you might want to just drag out the interfaces or make them "flatter" to get a similar setup.
I for example have all my interfaces at the bottom due to the amount of pixels 2560x1440p has

Didn't know about the world hop setting. I'd love if Jagex went through all of their obscure settings menus and just copied all of them into the regular settings menu. I always like to just methodically go through all of the settings to see what's possible and tweak to my liking. That just doesn't work when the settings menu doesn't have all of the settings.

Just jumped into to Runescape today. I played for a solid few years back around the time it first came out and never revisted until recently. I tried OSRS and it's great but I'm loving Runescape so far. It's got all the charm I remember while looking so much better visually. Everything still feels extremely familiar

i wish there was an addition to this for mobile only players. PC runescape is already 6 feet under, any new players are more likely than not to play on mobile. A mobile PVM boss guide would slap too.

You are wrong about portables, the range is larger than one tile. It's more like 3 (it works at GE bank for example)

@Protoxx you stated some false information at 2:18. Lore hound does not help with archeology. This was even confirmed by jagex as having no additional benefits since the lore hound has not really been updated since it was released.
