@@bm7654 my son was only 4 years old so I use to give him only one teaspoon everyday in the morning. 5 or 7 black seeds, one teaspoon honey, one small piece of fresh garlic clove. I use to crush the garlic and black seeds. Add in the honey đŻ, that mixture i use to give it to my son for few weeks. It really helped him. I used Nebulizers and puffs nothing was helping him. Honey, fresh garlic and black seeds mixture fixed my son's cough and asthma completely.

Iâm a type 1 diabetic patient and I have been using this oil for 3 weeks.. results are mind blowing because Iâm supposed to take insulin 3 times in a day to keep my blood sugar levels in normal range but after using this oil my insulin units have been reduced to 5 units each time I inject myself with insulin. I've been taking black seed oil for one week. One teaspoon twice a day. My inflammation is gone. Circulation is the best it's been in years. I can sit in my computer chair for any length of time now without my legs or feet going numb. I've been sleeping better, no longer have to get up to go to the bathroom before dawn, and no longer wake up in pain with my bones creaking like old wood. Also day three of taking the oil, I am pretty sure I passed a gall stone, which was causing pain and heaviness in my upper right abdominal region for months. My digestion is no longer sluggish and I no longer experience constipation. As you can see, I have a lot of problems with my health, and just about all of them seem to be cured by sipping this bitter oil. I feel like my body is HEALING finally and not just 'hanging in there'. I'm going to take this every day for the rest of my life.

My mom had a tumor in her breast. They wanted to operate her to remove it and do a biopsy. She went low carb, she just couldnât do keto, and a tbsp of black seed oil. Tumor has been shrinking. It's part of our culture in Palestine We consume this seed's paste in many ways, you can mix it with honey spread it on bread and it will taste heavenly, it was my favourite sandwich back when i was in school.

Top's - right to the point as usual! I came across this wonderful stuff in the 60ties in Marrakesh/Morocco, suffering "Montezuma's revenge" (food poisoning) with heavy stomach cramps. An Arab realized my situation, he went away for a while and came back with these black seeds, he showed me to chew on them and then swallow, so I did...like magic in no time the cramps went and I was cured from the disease, since I value this stuff very much, it's magic! When I was in Afghanistan I noticed they use it on their fresh baked nan breads and baked sweets generously. So I asked a bakery why they do that everywhere, they said on top this being part of their tradition for its great aroma, it has many health benefits. I suppose they were right on.

Have been taking black seed oil tablets for 1 month now, 2000 milligrams a day, 1 after breakfast and 1 after small dinner, I have been feeling great and sleep well. This is a true Hadith (saying of Prophet of Creator Muhammad, peace be upon him, that has been narrated in chains of narrations to our day). It has been established as an authentic saying within the Hadith Sciences that encompesses all aspects of religion and daily life matters as a guide.
We muslims accept the true authenticated sayings of Final Prophet as a rule, if we understand or do not understand the science behind it.
Some cultures obviously do not share the same belief and devotion to these sayings and practices and that is understable and not expected of them.

As a Medical Herbalist I would like to add that the scientific name is Nigella sativa - there is sometimes confusion when using common names. This is not the same as Nigella damascena which grows easily in the UK.

Great breakdown! The thing that is conspicuously missing from every western presentation of blackseed is that it is traditionally taken with honey (any raw honey. Doesn't need to be really expensive.) as a synergist to boost its power in the body.

I've polled a few people from Asia (different countries) who've taken the pinch of whole seeds daily all their lives, and many said a teaspoon of honey with seeds stuck in.

Not long ago I knew nothing about black seed oil. I had been praying about my blood pressure which is elevated due mostly to weight gain. When I lose the weight the blood pressure comes down, but then invariably I gain the weight back. I am only going to take medication as a last resort, so I've been talking to God and Jesus about a healing. Anyway, one night I had a dream about a little boy named Jeera who looked very middle eastern. In The dream the name was written out for me kind of in the air in front of me so there was no doubt about the spelling. I had never heard the name before. I have had prophetic dreams before so I looked up the name online. Turns out it's the name for Cumin in Hindi. Cumin seeds it turns out are good for weight reduction or fat loss. Then I started to read about black cumin seed oil that had an amazing list of health benefits. Anyway, I am taking black cumin seed oil capsules daily. Praise be to God for this dream. I am just starting the keto diet and have not taken the caps long.

I completely lost range of movement after a knee surgery which didn't improve with physio. As my faith Islam encourages use of honey and black seeds for cure of everything, I took a teaspoon of each every morning and 2 weeks later I was able to bend my knee a lot more. Over a period of a month I had the full range back.

But generally the most doctors avoid relationships between health and religion. We as Muslims know that we have in the Quran and sunnah enough evidence that gives us the solution to every (health) problem.

How much black seed oil can a person use daily and for how long?
Iâve been using the oil mixed with honey for years . When my daughter would have a slight cough Iâd give her one tablespoon of black seed oil mixed with honey⌠she never gets a cold and sheâs been taking for 19 years.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Always take after eating. Iâve been told itâs very heavy and if taken daily on an empty stomach can cause stomach issues. Not sure if itâs true for the masses, but one man I know shared this experience of stomach pain after prolonged use of taking on empty stomach .
The first time I took it, on empty stomach, I was overwhelmed by the old frylator grease taste, and my stomach was cramping for 2 hours. Then I ate one twix bar and the cramping stopped literally in its tracks. Definitely better to take with food, but capsules are less irritating.
Oil is more potent therefore you tend to need a lot of capsules to get the same amount as 1 spoon. Spoon dose is 5000mg, while the capsules I have are a serving of 950mg. My results on the 5000mg were astounding for stress reduction, but I tasted it for days. I have yet to try it again, the capsules themselves are pretty effective for aches and bouts of agitation. I meant to try it with honey, it seemed like a better idea.

Pl, help by telling how you use Nigella Sativa - in whichever form - for insomnia. I've been taking 1/2 a tsp with ACV & honey first thing in the morning. I think a repeat is required sometimes before bed.

Seeds much better then oil
I swear by the use of black seed oil. Even before keto, it was the ONLY thing that would tame my horrendous menstrual cramps! I take it every single morning in a liquid capsule form. It has greatly improved my quality of life with just that alone!!

It is must to have black seed oil in every household in the Somali community. We use every time a child or adult is sick. Without black seed or the oil I wouldnât be able to survive.

Iâve struggled with sinus problems for years and last night I had the worst sinus pressure. It was 3am and the pain wouldnât let me sleep, I was so desperate I was ready to take a Benadryl. Thank God I remembered I had black seed oil in my fridge and took 5ml(diluted of course) within minutes it felt this calming effect and the pressure was goneđđ˝đđ˝ Iâve never slept better. @@shavshtoak7788 I definitely drank it with water because had I diluted it with anything sweet like orange juice it wouldâve spiked up my insulin and then I wouldnât sleep.
I include this in my smoothies. Always forget just how good it is.

There is no such thing as a bullet proof immune system. Maybe a nice trip into Africa with some Ebola and then some hiv and then some of the mysterious diseases in the Rift Valley that we donât know half as much about as we probably should and you will definitely never come back home (and thatâs not cause youâre having such a great time).

I did see somewhere blackseed originated in Egypt. Is it also known as Black Cumin Seeds? Nice... I took the oil with a little honey with comb, and it really helped my overall health. Now, I take blackseed capsules as maintenance and continual health.
