  • Learn how to Improve the Steering Linkage on the Stiles Automotive Modified Harbor Freight, Red Bigfoot Panel Wagon with the Steel Mesh Deck (Garden) Wagon components. This also works to improve the Steel Mesh Deck Wagon in an unmodified configuration. To make a much better wagon. My design allows you to improve the wagon suspension with a little fabrication, you only have to drill 5/16” Diameter Holes in Wagon Tong and then cut/thread 5/16” Steel Rod. Easily completed by anyone. If you can assemble a Harbor Freight Wagon, you can do this Steering Linkage Modification. I am so happy with the results of this change.

Thanks for the video, I ran into the problem where the steering would lock when making a sharp turn. I made a steerable frame out of 2" Sq tubing to store a portable welder on when its off the truck, its like a wagon without the tub

Charles, You are very welcome! That sounds like a great use of the Wagon Parts. You could always use a Stop Block to limit the travel. I appreciate the comment! - Stiles

Robert, Yep these wagons are made poorly, of course, that is the reason for my upgrade to the Garden Wagon Suspension under the the Red Wagon. That and to make the Red Wagon so it doesn't tip as easily. See links to those Stiles Automotive Videos below! I appreciate the comment! - Stiles
