    I would add a thin plywood on top so that way you're not crushing the metal fence if you load something extremely heavy which it claims to be 1000 lbs. Also, I would just spot weld any nuts and frames you think might come loose. I doubt you'll be disassembling it so might as well weld it up! Thanks for the video!

    Regarding the new solid PU tire, has dead weight given you flat spot???? It seems comon issue with any solid tire sold.

      Sorry for the delayed response. No flat spots. But my cart is usually on grass. Not sure what will happen on cement.
      Thanks for watching.

    Nicely done. I just acquired a new one of these, it's good to know that inflating the tires to maximum pressure is probably not a good idea. ;-)

    Great video! That tire your saving is about ready to go. Be careful putting anything heavy with that bad tire your saving!

    The garden wagon I got from Harbor Freight has threaded axles. The flat-free wheels featured in your video are too wide at the hub and I can't put the nut on the end of the axle. That's what brought me to your video.

      Wow, it's strange that they will redesign their cart, and their own tires that they sell don't fit. Check out my other video called Budrash 10" Rubber Tires. The link in that video description will take you to the amazon page for those tires. I know they also sell a flat, free tired. Perhaps that video can help. Thank you for your comment, and thanks for watching. 👍

    The last tire that was still alive you could’ve just took a knife to it to finish it so you can put all new tires on it

    This was just what I needed. I picked up an old cart that was discarded for the wheels. I am headed to Harbor Freight to pick up the new tires. I would add just hit all the nuts and bolts with WD or a little grease. Mine are rusting big time but the frame is still in great shape. BTW... how are the new tires holding up - any comparison? Thanks for the video.

      @@HandymanLand I bought mine several years ago, however, the tires are the only problems I've had. I cannot seem to get the cap off. The last time I changed them I actually had it done by someone else, however, I would like to know how to do this for myself.

    You need to buy better Quality Tires. The ones that come with the cart are a mixture of rubber and plastic. That's why they break up after a year or two of use.

    • @HandymanLand
      @HandymanLand  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Hi, yes you are correct. I've installed new Budrash 10 inch rubber tires. These newer tires have been on the cart over a year and are still looking new. I also made a video on it as well. here's the link to that video.
