Awesome! One of my favorites, I have both the 80mm and 64mm. The 64 is the best detailed plane of it size. Not a fan of Reflex, so I am using a Spektrum receiver with SAFE/AS3x in both.
Agree, REFLEX is good, but Spektrum SAFE is BEST.

Maybe try the 80mm version of the FMS Rafale; I'm eyeing those for next spring (and the F-22 Raptor of the same size). ☺
Weak battery use 100+c rating, and use a hard cement or asphalt runway-- flying clean until trimmed and setup for stable flying and easy landings: good flare. Cheers

Pretty scary take off but worked out in the end
The Clip that hold the main gear on were designed backwards if the clip openings were facing to the back of the plane they would not break off. Plus they wouldnt grab grass when belly landing either. They screwed the pooch when they designed that part.
I wonder if it is possible to put an FPV camera in the canopy and fly it FPV? That would be so cool!

I’ve been wanting to get a cheaper plane and put a vtx in it and fly fpv. This looks like it’d be a fun flight viewing it from the cockpit.

As long as you put a Spektrum receiver in it your current radio is fine

@@canadiantrainpersonThat can happen depending on your connects and how your radio is set up. Go to your Channel SERVO menu on your radio and simply reverse any servos that need to be reversed.

Elevons is the word you are looking for.
An elevon serves the same function as an elevator and an aileron. Gravel is a terrible surface for RC...
Yes, I wrote the word ELEVON beside me as I was search for the term. Gravel is not my prefered take off or landing surface. Many a landing gear has been damaged due to this.
$80.00 mark up on Amazon link. Screw that ! This Jet has been out of stock for quit some time. Two brothers RC pushed it hard and put on a awesome show on what it can do with a Spektrum RX in it. I’m glad to see you have no problems flying it Steve. Awesome chase with the DJI FPv and the 360 cam was cool too. Love seeing so many different ways of showing it’s habits in 😊the sky and landing. Well done. Too bad I can’t find one for $199. Gone / out of stock. Should have grabbed one while it was in stock but hesitated. Ug
FMS says they will be back in stock soon. Many small hobby store certainly have a few.

That needs landing flaps badly
It is weak and will never take off on grass so you have to have a street or a runway that has black top at lease
This plane flies like a pig. Heavy, underpowered 4s. Its EDF created around 900gram thrust(in plane) while plane itself is 1150gram w/o battery. You have to maintain 100% throttle all the time. flies like a pig
But just like 90% of 3S/4S 64MM EDFs on the market.... People love them and often just hand launch them. It is no secret that many 3S/4S EDFs at 64mm or not as fast as people had hoped. Remove the landing gear, hand launch (into the wind) & you may enjoy it a bit more.
