I built a super chicken coop and because I live in Florida I made it Hurricane proof. In fact I might go there for a Hurricane. It’s too much to describe. That’s a Great two day build, for free. Watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅
Howdy Simon- really nice job on the chicken coop. It’s always a good build when you don’t have to spend any money. People our age have more of an appreciation for that. I’m sure the chickens are going to enjoy being out for fresh air. Hope all is well with you and Ms Sara. God bless
I helped my brother do something very similar back in the day due to a chicken with an injured wing and leg that had hatched chicks. Yours was a bit better I must admit and I like the design better than what we came up with.
Happy chicken equals happy Simon!! Cool outbuilding - I may also like to be in the running for a room at that inn... when I eventually make it up there!! Happy weekend you all!👍😁
Sorry Dave I have enough to paint without doing that. Sarah was also surprised I did not paint it . Maybe at the end of summer when they come back inside.
Hey Simon what is your bark scraping tool called for when your are peeling bark. I have never seen one that style. Is it homemade or available to the public?
Thank you Anne, the pecking order has now settled and changed the way I said it would. My hen pecked half eaten one winged chicken is now at the top. Interesting if nothing else.
What a great chicken coop and vuild Simon. The best part, free! I haven't been by the ole channel lately, busy with everything going on here these days. Seems like just a couple weeks ago, you were still plowing snow. Appreciate you sharing. The girls will be singing and laying in high cotton now! Take care my friend. God bless. Hello Sara 👋. Are you getting excited for fishing season? Take care ma'am.

I was in Florida in the 90's and know exactly what you mean. Not sure I need to do that again though. Thanks.
A bit of insulation and that could be my guest house for when I come over 😂🤔😄👍 good job Simon.
Hi Heith, if you want to visit in the winter I can throw up an igloo real quick!

Thank you Paul, it sure is interesting seeing things differently as age progresses. Be well my friend.
A job well done and a nice outdoor place for the chickens👍 Self built is well built👌
Thanks Simon, great job, you have to take care of the chickens for sure.
I do like egg's Mark and today the cost of chickens is way less than the cost of egg's!
It’s all work in progress Simon 😂 nicely done on the egg factory 😅oh yeah Thanks for sharing Sr.
Thanks 👍 Brad

Thank you Charles, different days and different materials always gives you different designs.

Looks like I will need a couple of Igloo's!
@@arctic-rebel 👍😁
The cheeky fox might figure out how to lift the little chicken door on the side. But maybe you thought of that by now…
That is why it is reverse weighted, so he cannot open it. But was thinking about the fox when I put it on.
🤠👍🐥☑️
Like yor woodshop🤠 couldnt you have them free range?
Thanks, no free range. The Breeding Eagles have already been in the yard as has a hawk or two and Mr Fox is always around as Kasper will confirm.
Lol I was waiting for the paint Simon? Now you need a chicken tractor attached to it?
Sorry Dave I have enough to paint without doing that. Sarah was also surprised I did not paint it . Maybe at the end of summer when they come back inside.

What a top notch coop Simon. How did the pecking order go? Thank you.❤️🇦🇺🇸🇪

@@arctic-rebel it’s incredible what nature gets up to. Well done!!!❤️🇦🇺🇸🇪
You dont build as real amerikan! They allways build walls on the floor and then rise upp them!
That's great if the floor is of greater size than the walls.
