► This bike had 2 miles from factory, dcided to go out on it as I need to learn, this is my very first time using gears as I spent a year an a half on a auto moped. Stalled a few times, getting the hang of shifting up an down, I think I done okay.

Hey guys got another Lexmoto Isca video czcams.com/video/1POOuo_H0vs/video.html
If you stall don't panic. Just press the ignition and carry on because moving to the side so others can pass can be more dangerous for you. Make the drivers behind you wait, it'll guarantee your safety. Again, don't panic :)
almost 6,000 miles in now mate since this vid, awaiting car lessons then going to get my big licence to get a africa twin
Always good to see new riders out on the road, and the Isca is a good choice, I've had mine since October 19 and done almost 3k miles on it. Decent utility tool as far as 125s go. Decent riding so far keep it up, only thing I'd say is make sure you do your life savers when changing lane and changing direction as they help you massively in remaining situationally aware. Don't fret the stalls, everyone does it. Just ride safe and at your own pace. :)
Few key things about the Isca as I see a few others in comment section looking at getting one, they come geared quite low from the factory which is great for city riding but if you find yourself on country roads quite a bit going up to a 15t sprocket on the front will raise the gearing slightly to give a nice compromise between acceleration and top end. Stock Gearing will bounce off the limiter in 5th at 68mph, but a more realistic cruising spead of around 55mph.
Also about to fit a Lextek S/S downpipe to mine as it seems to have a power dip/ flat spot after 7/8k revs which may be due to restriction in the Cat converter so revving the nuts off it in stock form is a bit of a waste past this point in the rev range.
Cheers, glad you liked it. I've done 1300 miles since this video lol
@@2LXCKYY Aye that tends to happen when you first get out on the bike, safe riding :)
You too
getting this exact bike near the end of this year! great video
you should enjoy it!
Damn that looks so fun
this will be me tomorrow, i have been riding a 125 scooter for a year and today i bit the bullet and bought a geared bike my 1st go on a geared bike with no training will be me riding it home tomorrow, can't wait!!
Enjoy it mate, sadly my isca is now in recovery :( had a bad crash
Just remember give yourself some room and practice that clutch control and you'll smash it
looking to get one of these in the next couple of months to start doing deliveroo/ubereats/just eat etc as well as to have fun. just need enough money for the insurance. looks so fun.
Get a normal SDP policy. Use Zego for delivery insurance. It'll be 70p an hour along as your 21+ if you're under 21 you need to do some digging as insurance is gonna be pricy for you
Keep going ! Good job mate. I want to buy this bike as well in next month.
thanks mate, i hope you enjoy the bike!
Your uncles suzuki sounds so good holllyyy
power of a twin engine lol, its a 125 Suzuki Intruder
Nice video mate. thinking of getting an isca myself soon. I have been riding a 50cc scooter for almost a year now and it is so sluggish and it is becoming unbearable lol. just gotta learn how to use gears.
pretty simple to do tbh mate, this was my first try in this video, no training, just got the hang of the biting point and threw myself on the road
It's actually scary this is this long ago... I'm just touching 8000 miles and waiting my full test as I'm buying a honda cb650r
Thanks for putting the video together of your 1st ride. Noticed you must be quite local to myself just over Rimerose Valley. Your video managed to cover a lot of my fears about a first ride. Stalling on an incline , well recovered. just pulled yourself over to the side and started again.
Going over the flyover , just because you must feel quite exposed ,because of the height.
going out with someone with more experience. you must have been questioning "will i be able to keep up".
so why did you choose the Isca? Any recommendations of where to buy it from?
Passed my CBT last year and just need to get on with it now.
To be honest mate, I chose the Isca because of funds and also the size. It was the biggest bike I could get without it being too big, as I have to fit it through a 90 degree angle alleyway.
I'm glad you took this video in, im now 7 months into riding the Isca 6400 miles, had to replace the Engine Temp Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor and battery, its a good learning bike to be fair and I would recommend it, but just keep ontop of anti rust agents
just bought a lexmoto riot its such a struggle riding geared, close to tears :)
what you struggling with? I'd suggest because its a small bike anyway, if you have a back garden/yard, give it a go in there, just get used to the bite
no ones perfect dude, look at me in this video stalling alot
@@2LXCKYY Ty for the encouragement i will give it a few weeks, see how it goes
good luck dude, everyone has their hiccups, just be safe, wear atleast upper gear, and jeans or something, dont do shorts lol
Great vid I’m looking at getting same model you found any downsides or good features so far?
I mean it runs great, I love the hazards helps if I stall, the high beam an low beam, I didn't have before so that's cool. I need to learn better down shifting its a solid bike
Hi mate what would you say is actual top speed and how long 0-60? Looking to get one in a couple months
I haven't done a 0 to 60 tbh mate even 7100 miles in, it can get to it in probably 8-10 seconds at a guess
@@2LXCKYY what would you say 0-30 mate?
How have you found the bike? I just want to get something cheap to ride on for around 500-1000 miles before going for my motorbike license.
You want to pay £1500 for 1000 miles just to then get your full licence? lol, it's a good bike, i enjoy, once youve worn the engine in sounds great. Check out my most recent video for the sound
@@2LXCKYY Yes I know £1500 for a bike, but rather have a new one than something used, need the experience of riding around in London than going straight into a big bike. I’ll take a look at your other videos.
Be safe, London is rough for motorbike theft
Surely you've had the CBT training on a geared bike?
No, I done my CBT on a Scooter, I trained myself in my back garden in 1st gear doing circles trying to get used to the clutch. Once I thought I was ready I threw myself on the road :)
Good on you for teaching yourself. I do think to be road legal though you need to take a CBT on a geared bike, as your current certificate will only allow you to legally rode a scooter.
@@craigbassam3692 you don't need to take a test for a 125 cc if you've done the 50 cc
CBT is 50cc for 16 year old, 17 for a 125. I'm 23 years old, I'm able to ride a 125 with just a CBT i dont need training or a licence to do so dude
@@2LXCKYY I only asked out of curiosity because I did my CBT just 6 weeks ago. I was asked when I booked it - "what sort of bike do you want to ride, either scooter or geared bike?" As want a geared bike and I'm paying £120 for the CBT I want the best training for my money, so I said geared. On the certificate there are tick boxes for which bike you completed the CBT on - either manual or automatic. If it didn't matter those tick boxes wouldn't be there. I would ask a training school just to confirm if it's legal or not. Better to be safe than sorry.👍
BTW nice bike I was considering one for a time.
