► Done 100 miles on my motorbike, also started work again, feels good to be doing it again as I need to start earning money. Today I earned around £60 for 4 hours of work. Which isn't bad at all.

    Nice work!
If you find that you've been shaken by something, just pull over. You'll only feel worse if you then end up messing up the next junction. Especially if you miss seeing a car instead of missing the bite point of your clutch or not enough revs in your engine. No one is going to judge you, and even if they do would you rather be judged or scraped off the tarmac?
Keep both hands on the bars and when you do don't cover the clutch. If you're that worried, keep a finger on it, but it's better to have full control to avoid a problem than just disconnect the engine. Prepare for junctions earlier while you're getting used to a geared bike. Brake earlier, change down earlier. That'll allow you to look and concentrate at the roundabout or junction for longer as you've done the "complicated" stuff.
It's a lot to remember if you've just stepped off a scooter/moped to a geared bike, but you'll get the hang of it. You're not doing too bad. Be safe! :-)

Yeah that bit with the corner stall was just annoying, she didn't check at all just wanted to fly out without checking anything. I didn't see the car until I looked back at my camera tbh just the way the cars where parked, but i was going a low enough ish speed, she had to slam on, ill do better thanks mate

I really like the little Lexmoto Isca. Looking at them in the local lexmoto bike shop I was very impressed by the build quality. It looks a really solid bike and pleasing on the eye..
Could I ask you a few questions though as I'm somewhat hesitant on taking the plunge?
I'm not interested in the old question of "how fast does it go" but more of "what's it comfortable cruising speed" on flat open roads without it sounding or being thrashed.
If it would cruise along comfortably all day at 55mph I would be more than happy to be honest.
Have you had any reliability issues either.
I passed my bike test many moons back in the late 80s, but haven't ridden a bike now for years. I'm no spring chicken anymore and just want a light low powered bike to commute to work on and enjoy leisure rides out, at a pace that would keep up with the flow of traffic
Thanks for taking the time to read and any replies given.
All the best and stay safe out there 👍

This is also my question haha! I really want this bike due to looks but is it going to be breathing out it’s arse at 50? Would it cope with A roads without annoying the folk behind?

Yeah 55mph is it's true cruising speed. 62 maxed out. I've done reviews and ride outs on my channel if you feel like taking a look.
It's a very comfy bike to be honest with very little vibration.

easily gets upto 50, gotta remember its a 125 not a 250-500cc lol 125s are perfect for any city tbh

I've got currently 210 miles on it from 0, everything seems super solid, for a £1500 bike can't argue with anything about it its a pretty good bike so far

Really enjoying your reviews on the channel btw but can you ride it in the motorway I know it’s legal but can the bike cope alongside the big lorries and cars?

    • @2LXCKYY
      @2LXCKYY  Před 4 lety

You can't go on motorways with L plates, so I can't answer that question. However I've been next to big lorries an that, I've been fine. I would say do not buy a 125cc to ride on the motorway. You want a 300cc+

Its perfect for a first time rider. This was my first geared bike I taught myself to ride so its a pretty simple and easy machine

@@philloynes it's a nice bike like yeah, can do 50 comfortably, hit 62 on it on a straight, good mpg too, I'm 6ft 4 an sit quite nicely on it

@@2LXCKYY wow okay, you're tall enough for me to be okay on one. Read reviews that the sloping seat pushes you forward into the tank. Is it that bad?
