Hi Thanks for commenting. 👍 The first Videos where meant to be a rough introduction and an oversimplification. In the future I surely will make the same steps for different Distros. How long and for what other purpose (Gaming, etc) are you using it? What is your personal experience?
@@eiraelmyrn1246 I just lately installed it and haven't did any none native Linux usage yet. The reason I want to move to Linux is because I had it with windows with their AI and Recall future update and I know that Zorin 17.1 suppose to work with windows 3rd party software thanks to it's wine and bottles natively installed. However, Linux is new to me, so I'm looking for knowledge how to make it work with windows software without making a mess. The goal use it for both a DAW and video editing windows native software, and also run some portable programs.
This Playlist is about setting Endeavors (which is based on Archlinux) for Linux Beginners. If you do not have much experience with Linux, I would recommend watching the entire Playlist. Not because of the Distro itself, but me explaining some important tools, like timeshift (system backup tool, flatpak, bottles vs regular wine, gnome-disk-utility, etc.
Windows Programms via Wine run on all big Distros the same. That is not me saying to switch. Check out my previous tutorials and make your own opinion. 👍
Thanks for the video. I use Zorin 17.1 hopefully 3rd party software will run on it too.
