Andrew's story about wrestling in Korea reminded me of the time Nirvana played in Japan. Crowd was dead quiet the entire show.. after they were done, the band trashed the equipment and the crowd was confused. After the show a drum company rep approached Dave Grohl and was almost crying asking him if the drums were not to his liking cuz he destroyed them lmao

Used to say the same. But they put the numbers in the description. The episodes still come up when you search using the numbers and you can see the episode number in the thumbnail as well
One thing I would like to point out is that Nintendo doesn't own Game Freak they just partner with them allowing Game Freak to make the Pokemon games, while Retro Studios is a subsidiary of Nintendo and they're making Metroid Prime in collaboration with Nintendo employees. Nintendo also owns most of Pokemon, but Game Freak still has some ownership over it.
Idk if mobile games count but Pokémon Go is pretty horrendously developed too

@@Newt2799that's because Nintendo and gamefreak are owners of the pokemon company as partners then Pokemon go was developed as a partnership with Niantic. Essentially Nintendo was twice removed from the development of pokemon go.
The games are still garbage no matter how the ownership is sliced up. They are 4/10 games at best.
Nintendo, gamefreak and Creatures Inc all own around 1/3rd of TPCi. Nintendo publishes, gamefreak develops, Creatures is management, TPCi itself puts out the non-game content and actually owns the IP.

@@therivermarquis technically we don't know if switch sold more than the ps2 because they didn't confirm how much more it sold over the 129 mil. They just said they sold over it. So it'll be a damn mystery until someone brings out actual statistics. Either way switch is honestly one of the best consoles out there. It cemented some of the best damn games we enjoy. Not shitting on ps2 cuz I loved playing on the ps2 as well. Great platforms in general 👌

Jada's and Will's relationship reminds me of the one my Granpa had with my Grandma. My grandma is vile. He forbid him to say goodbye to his brother at a family gathering in 2018 and that was the last time my Grandpa was able to see him. He died of covid. Worst is, he died before her, he didn't have the chance to at least enjoy a bit of live, if she had passed away first. She is still alive and kicking, as evil as he has been. If Will Smith doesn't get a grip and get's out of this relationship as soon as possible, he might end up the same way, and I'd hate that!

To add to the story of Collision in Korea:
• Firstly, the American promotion wasn't WWE, it was their arch-rivals WCW who flew their guys out to Korea.
• Two of the wrestlers got into a fight right before their flight out of the country was supposed to go, and almost got everyone killed.
• Antonio Inoki wasn't just a wrestler, actor and martial artist, he was also an *_active politician_* at the time, and he did this, I believe behind the Japanese government's back.
• He did this exact thing with Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War to (successfully) negotioate the release of Japanese prisoners.
Japanese wrestling is fucking insane, but the backstage lore is even wilder.
I think it was so funny how Charlie had a problem with the Switch being someone else’s favorite console and then kept bringing up a console that killed itself as a counter argument

I fully agree with Andrew, if I HAD to choose I would take the Switch over my Series X or PS5 in a heartbeat.
Toejam and Earl perfected split screen gameplay in 1991. If you were close to the other player, both on same screen, if you wander away from each other, it would smoothly convert into split screen. Sad that so few games have failed to mimic the concept since.

I cant get over the comedy in Charlie's rabid hate borner for the switch. The switch is a fun console, just because it cant do 2000 terashits per dickflops doesn't make it a bad console. Is it old? Yes but if something sells why try and make a new version when a large portion of your first parties run fine on it. But Nintendo bad i guess.

Honestly switch is just great for indie games. I love playing my rouge lites, farming simulators, rpg's (like j rpg, not A rpg) and dungeon crawlers on switch. plus its official games are great.
