I put on a Saddlemen stepup...which is basically the same as your Lepera...the stock seat was killing my butt and lower back...the Stepup is night and day better than stock...totally made the bike more comfortable.

Put the La Pera kickflip on my 2014 Street Bob and love it. My son loved it so much I got him one for his Street Bob.

Beautiful bike love the red. I have a Lepera on my street glide special and love it. This is the second Lepera seat I've owned the other on a fat boy. In my opinion they make the best seat. Hope you enjoy yours great video.

Gonna give Whiplash seats a shot. I need to drop the shift lever a bit, and roll the bars back some.
I'm looking for a set of saddle bags I can stomach.

That’s a really nice seat, glad it functions better for you, comfort is everything on these bikes. Maybe after you break it in I’d like your opinion on which one is more comfy as I’m trying to decide between Saddleman & LaPera for my Superglide
They're pretty good. Very similar. I would say the lepera is probably a little wider
the LePera is comfortable straight out the box compared to the Saddleman and Mustang Seats
Looks like a nice seat for longer rides as well . Perhaps a long term review video in the future?

I actually just installed my Saddleman step-up last night on my street bob :-)…..I agree with you on the riding position with the stock seat.

Thanks for showing that seat, it's been on my short list mainly because it keeps the gap between seat and tank, that so many other seats cover up. interesting looking at your shots side by side, the stock seat you are sitting further up and your knee is at the V in Davidson where the LePera it's 2 letters back at the D . Would you need to adjust the bars then since you are sitting about an inch or so further back?
Yeah I did have to pull the bars back towards me more to make my reach more comfortable
Looks good, I put a Cherokee on mine, haven't rode it much but will get it broke in this spring

Hello, is this the kick flip up-front model or kick flip normal?
I can be wrong, but Sadelman seat don’t have that gap between seat and gas tank.

Been debating for months between the Mustang Wide Tripper and Le Para Kickflip for my 2020 Street Bob. Question, how many inches is the back step up on the LePara?
Even with the under felt, did the seat scrub on the rear fender? Any paint scratches?
No scratches that I could tell.
How do you compare this seat vs your Saddleman seat? Looks good on the bike.
Very similar almost identical. But I would say the kickflip seams a little wider in the sitting position
I’m 17 and I was debating between the street bob or sprortster iron 1200 and the street bob is way to bulky for me so I’m going for the slicker iron 1200

I'm assuming this is your first Harley? I had the same choice and went with the Iron... Im already planning to upgrade to a Road King in the new year
@@HowellDiesel oh damn yeah I don’t want a big bulky bike though they don’t feel right I tried the street bob but for a 5,8 135lb 17 year old I don’t think it feels right
@@Sci-Fi-THC Yeah, I understand exactly what you mean but my dealer tried to tell me that I would regret not just getting the bigger bike and he was right... I was just too uncomfortable on the bigger bikes at the time but now that I've gotten a lot of ride time, I understand the importance of having the bigger tank, windshield, side saddles for storage, better suspension... I want to be able to take my bike all over the country without having to spend the money upgrading my sportster to do those things.

Yeah it does give you a little something to lean up against
What is your inseam? I think that it's a shame that you spend sub 20k for a bike and there has to be changes made, like the seat for instance.

I’m currently on a 2021 Street Bob and with the stock seat I can sit flat footed. I’m 5’5 an I’ve set on the saddle man step up and did not like how it spread my thighs out . And it raised me up where I no longer was flat footed. With the new torque cam I’m slipping off the stock seat. So I definitely need something different
Yeah I could see. The step up styles will lift you up a little bit for sure
Looks like you need to twist handle bars towards you little bit, cos you can seat further back now but you handle bars is too far
I did end up having to pull that back more
