No because I don't think the man even saw the movie bc for all its focus on women in the eye of society and men, boobs were quite literally never mentioned like he even said something like bad boobs and cellulite and it just said so much to me bc no sir bad boobs was never said once actually it was fucking flat feet and the fact that you're focused in so hard on tits in your commentary on this film that doesn't even have a single tit joke IN IT JUST SAYS SO MUCH LIKE GOD LMAO HE COULD HAVE EASILY MADE JOKES ABOUT HOW HE WAS A MAN TALKING ABOUT BARBIE LIKE THE IRONY OF PATRIARCHY LITERALLY ANYTHING THAT SHOWED COMPETENCY AND MEDIA LITERACY BUT NO LMAO

TBF most of the time celebrities are getting paid by the brands to wear their clothes... but that's probably even worse cause I'd rather buy and wear my own stuff than have other people pick hideous things for me to wear lol
they're not even buying these most of the time. most of them are borrowed. they have designers who either offer the dresses for publicity, or if you're big enough, you can get pretty much any designer to lend you a dress. i think the designer needs to see you a as really big to let you keep it, big name celebrities sometimes get to keep the stuff, a lot of them have to return it, otherwise they'll have to pay for it. i think it's the less famous people that buy their clothes

Billie Eilish does not dress for anyone but her. I respect how she dresses. It was kind of bad ngl, however, she is never shameful about her weird outfit choices. It makes so many girls feel better about wearing the "perfect" dress or put on the most expensive makeup

It's so sad. Like Cillian is literally just a sweet middle aged man raising his kids with his lovely wife and yet 2 of his biggest roles get misinterpreted so heavily. I'm a Filipino too, and I have to say, I never liked that man. He can't think of other jokes aside from making fun of Filipino mannerisms and accents, and all he did at the Golden Globes was make unfunny and cringe "jokes." As Filipinos, we don't claim him. 🥹

Honestly I'm fine with Billie's outfit, for the simple fact that the Internet is SUPER gross about her body anytime she wears fitted clothing. Wearing oversized and/or shapeless fashion is her way of taking control of how she's viewed and making her feel more comfortable in the public eye, and I support it.

I know Pedro's style was mainly due to a sling not fitting well over a jacket, but honestly going jacketless is the only way for twinky/twunky types to have a shape when wearing solid colors.
It gives them the opportunity to experiment with color and fabric to great levels, literally Pedro is on fire right there.
Again, I know, men usually put literally no effort into their styles as they are well-tailored, treated for unusual body sweats/clinging, and modular, giving them less to wear is even more of a slap to the face for women who literally have lace patterns sewn through a sheer body suit and into their skin. HOWEVER, Chalamet would be spicy in a flow-y, almost pirate-y blouse, very sheer with corset-style sleeves (slit from wrist to shoulder, tied loosky together every few inches.
Barry already told everyone he was "experimenting" with color, so he's an exception.

I met Emma Stone when i was in high school! Shes such a genuinely sweet person! She got annoyed with her handler for trying to rush through the event, and she stayed a good while longer taking photos with me and my classmates and the kids we were helping out that day

Nah, he’s capable of that. And why are we throwing writers under the bus and acting like he has no agency over what he says? His standup was funny the first few times I saw it but there’s only so many times you can hear him imitate his mom or toss around Asian stereotypes for a laugh.
@@allieren based on the delivery and the punchline it really wasn’t, many comedians didn’t want the hosting job for a reason lol. If their jokes aren’t accepted they rewrite them cause that’s how it is. It’s not the writers that dictate what is allowed. There’s a whole revising process and editing process that goes into this, and it was reduced to 10 days cause no one wanted the job.
What he could’ve done is not accept the job after reading the accepted monologue, he is novice when it comes to show business cause he’s self grown. He is an adult so I’m not backing him up just stating the facts lol.

He tends to make fun of himself and creepy shit men do😭 A lot of people haven’t heard of him nor watched his specials so he didn’t make a good first impression what so ever. I understand why people are mad about the joke he made about Barbie, so the other men, and movies he joked about faded in the background.

To be fair to Jo Coy I think they only let the host write 2 or 3 Jokes and the rest are written by writers that work for the Globes. And the jokes that the host writes are usually edited by the Globes as well. So I don't fully blame him for flopping but damn is it hard to watch...
