@@rita90708 Thank you for you empathy. It warms my heart! I don't believe my former bullies need to recieve a lesson though. One of them killed herself and another I know was beaten as a child by her mentally ill mother. I think bullies need clear boundaries, bullying is never okay! Victims also need to know it's never ever their fault! Most bullies are broken too though, or they would never become bullies in the first place! Sadly it doesn't make the scars go away, but the knowledge helps me to deal!
Growing up a lesbian dyslexic kid with a lisp from a poor family you learn how much words hurt. Mike's music helps me live with those horrid memories. He's amazing and deserves a lot more recognition .

I really enjoy this song and wanted to get a better understanding of the meaning. I translated many of the words in the background and realized this song is about the struggles Mika had to deal with when he came out. The song now has a much more powerful meaning. I have always enjoyed Mika's music and never thought of him differently but I see how there are many people who do not understand. I look forward to listening to many more of your songs.

Mika helped me so much. i was in high school (year 11) when this song came out and i graduated in 2017. but i was bullied a lot in high school due to my disability and i had trouble making friends and i found this song and it healed me and mika gave me sunshine in my life again and he inspired me to get out what i was feeling into songs and i been happier ever since. Thanks mika for your music which saved me and my life. i wouldnt be here without your music.
