Actually in The Voice France the word "talent" is used to refer to the singers that take part in the contest. Mika was actually asking "is there a singer there?" Because as a coach he cannot see the singers' face before turning around (because it's a blind audition). So he just wanted to check if there was no singer hidden behind the wall. The subtitles are not accurate for that part.

@@hasnaskyscraper Then you don't speak both to a high enough level. I have a super well developed vocabulary in English and can do multiple accents, I speak it so well that I started to forget common words in my native language, and all my thoughts are in english now. I can switch flawlessly between them like once or twice, but after that my tongue just gets twisted trying to speak.

Having your tongue twisted is another thing when you speak multiple languages, but that's not what's happening here. So I repeat, it's easy to sing in a language and interject in another one. Especially if the one you're interjecting with is your native language just like him in the video. If you can't manage it, that's another thing. But bragging about how many accents you can do or the vocabulary you have isn't relevant, cause you don't know about the other person's level. I didn’t brag about how many languages I can speak or my level in them and I can still make my point.

Mika grow up in Pairis untill his 10 years old so first language fr and then move to uk for financial reason so thats the reason of his switch between the two language so ealisy

He is just singing with falsetto and a high larynx. It's quite bad technique and easy to do, in fact.
I MP not that easy. You need practice to perfect it like he has done it. Not this performance but his older songs feature some amazing falsetto. It's beautiful.

He was born in Lebanon, there is a Lot of french influence there.

Son père est américain sa mère est libanaise. Il est né au Liban et sa famille a déménagé en France. Il a vécu là-bas jusqu'à ses 8 ans (il me semble, je n'ai pas les âges exacts), c'est donc normal qu'il parle français. Ensuite, ils ont déménagé au Royaume-Uni (c'est donc normal qu'il parle anglais). Il a dû apprendre l'italien en quelques mois seulement, car il était juge dans une émission en Italie (voilà pourquoi il parle italien). Il parle d'ailleurs très bien espagnol, un peu le mandarin et il a pris des cours d'arabe.
Ce mec est dingue.
