I’ve heard so many people say the church is full of hypocrites and judgemental people. Surely every church is different and every person IN a church is very different, but MY experience as a person who was redeemed from addiction and near homelessness is that CHRISTIANS were the ones who were the hands and feet of God to me in my brokenness. I have experienced the LOVE of God through the body of Christ, and I have been sheltered from my own life’s storms by the covering of the church. I don’t know where all these other folks have experienced such judgement and hatred, but I promise loving faith filled people are the salt and light of the earth❤ and they do exist. Jesus showed us how to love.

On Monday I'm taking my two nieces (7&3) on a date. (we go on dates about once a month)
We're getting our nails done, going for sushi, then we're going to shop for a present a toy drive. They love firetrucks, and there are several fire stations accepting donations.
I'm genuinely excited to see them shop for a toy for a child they don't know.
Then I fill them with sugar and return them to my sister and BIL full of sugar.
As someone who grew up going to many different churches to find the best one, I know how difficult it can be in a toxic church. Especially some of the bigger ones which are filled with rich hypocrites. But, let me tell you, we do not all act as such, you just need to find the community for you. It took my whole life just to find my current one last year, and it's changed my life for the better, so don't give up hope.
Being a Christian doesn't make you perfect, it makes you redeemed.
Its a better world 🌎 when we help each other.

I know it’s pretty common to see rude or corrupt churches on social media, or even Christian’s acting out of line, but there are genuine ones that show nothing but love and respect for everyone.
You don't have to be "religious". Jesus hated religion. It suffocates the soul. The only religious doctrine we need is Christ and him crucified so that we might live, and to love others as He loves us.

God sent His only begotten son to live a perfect life, so He could be the final sacrifice to save us. His blood washed away all of our sins. The death of our perfect and precious Savior. That is the real love that God has for humanity. Loving us even when we rejected Him and chose sin. My church kicked me and my kids out cause in thier eyes I was poor . Truth was
I was fighting cancer, my husband left me and our kids homeless. We lived in a campground i worked 40 hours a week while doing cancer treatment just to stay at that campground.
But to me i was rich. Kids and i was frèe of an abuse home, God woke me up and gave me the strength to beat cancer,abuse,homeless.
I've been reading such sad stories in the comments of so called churches who sounds like they are more like cults.
They should be ashamed for excluding you based on how much you possess. On the other hand... Be glad that these people no longer occupy a space within your families life that could be occupied with people who care about you.

Yeah I lost my faith quite a few years ago, the final straw was some particularly cruel treatment I received from "devout christians" but this is a nice reminder of the kindness the church can offer, there are many truly kind souls, it's a shame how much their kindness can be overshadowed by genuinely horrible people in their congregation.

Being religious just means a belief and adherance to the teachings of a religion, you can go to church but it's not a requirement. You just have to be a good example of the belief you carry. Zealots abusing the collective for their own selfishness are the modern day merchants Jesus whipped and beat out of his father's home. Believe it or not, if yku follow common courtesy and display simple love and kindness towards those you meet, you're more religious than most people claiming to be such.
Yup! Christian love is so unconditional. Unless you're gay. Or you disagree with the status quo in your church. Or until a pastor who's wife dies decides to remarry. Or until a little girl gets raped by a clergy member and tries to speak up about it. Then the love seems to be pretty fuckin conditional.

This is what it’s all about for us. It’s not really that difficult. Sometimes we don’t do what we should. What I think is awesome is how strongly our morals compel us to do these things for people. It is really awesome. Even if you don’t believe in a god, this is what we consider the work of ours. It’s super cool to see the better side of it. I’m not that great about reading my bible or going to church, but this kind of thing is what fuels my love and belief in God. It’s like an invisible force almost. It’s super fascinating to me. Sometimes things play out in such a way that it can’t be coincidence. I feel that anyone without a religion is able to believe what they want. But I also find that even if you don’t believe fully, most of the time just trying to be what religion wants you to be can make you a better person. Then again, each to his own. I can’t say what’s best for anyone but myself. I’m not the best person in the eyes of my religion but I can say that it’s worth it. Most of the time it benefits people and radical views are a little bit more clearly just the weirdos adopting the religion for their own personal gain.

I'm proud to say that I see all the young and new parents of today teaching their kids how to be beautiful humans, helping break them away from toxic cycles. All I can say guys is that the upcoming generation are going to be a generation of people who are kind and loving and one with themselves.

God showed me all this cuz he knew I'd tell !! I've seen someone go into the ER their whole right side was totally paralyzed she couldn't sit up or move at all!! the Dr did mri the Dr told her she had 2 blood clots in her brain and 2 clots in her stomach !! The Dr told us the bad news then he said that I should make arrangements with a nursing home !!!! I told him no.. !!!! I've never felt so desperate in my life!!!! I looked at her.. I said listen.. IM GONNA PRAY FOR YOU AND YOU WILL BE HEALED! I PRAYED FOR HER QND I SAID God heal her now!! You said u wouldn't give us anything we can't handle!! IN Jesus name amen!!! I LOOKED DOWN TO PICK MY PHONE UP OFF THE CHAIR AND WHEN I GLANCED BACK UP I SAW HER SITTING STRAIGHT UP!!!! I SAID YOUR SITTING UP!! SHE SAID HEYYYYY!!! I AM !!!!!! I RAN OUT TO GET THE DR.. THE DR WALKED IN THE ROOM NONCHALANTLY.. WHEN HE SAW WHAT I WAS WITNESSING HE SAID " this is impossible" and walked out backwards AND SHAKING HIS HEAD NO... he ordered another mri every clot was GONE !!.. that same Dr never returned to the room! My grandma had 3 different types of cancer at once in her body.. She got a call saying she was cancer free after prayer! I've seen STAGE 4 CANCER DISAPPEAR in Jesus name ! I've seen my 2 family members that was completely paralyzed walk !!! in Jesus name and they walked normally for the rest of their lives !!!
I was baptized in the river in Jesus name and the holy spirit and I had a feeling that God wanted me to reach directly under my feet and grab a rock where I stood when I was being baptized.. and I pulled up the rock to look at it.. and it was a perfect fossil of a fish !!!! It had the eyes scales and all.. it's amazing that I was standing on top of a fossil rock fish while being baptized in water !!!! Absolutely amazing..
