For those who asked questions or expressed concerns about what happens when healing does not happen, I made a series of six short videos that hopefully will answer them. How can I heal myself from an addiction, I’m dealing with food addiction and feeling sad!
@@Women_of_God09 I have found that addictions and many sin struggles are symptoms of deeper issues, for example believing lies that cause us to distrust God. I'm not saying that you shouldn't address the addiction, but you are also going to have to deal with the underlying issues. That's hard (or at least it is for me).
Ultimately, God is the one who has to heal the broken places, so continuing to develop your relationship with him is key. He has freed me from many bad habits and sin struggles as well as dealt with many lies and fallen world thought patterns. He's healed many broken places in my heart, and he's still working on me. I know he wants to do the same for you.
One thing that helps me a lot with this process is remembering that because Jesus has brought us into new life, we don't understand how life works anymore. That's why we have to be like little children. We have to learn how to live in our new life in the middle of a world that is still fallen. We have been born again, so we need to learn (metaphorically) how to walk, how gravity works, how to talk, ect all over again. Basically, if we think we know how life works, we might want to run it by our Heavenly Father to get his perspective on it.
I can't tell you exactly what to do, but I have tried a few things that helped me. I'll just list them, and you are free to try any that you think might be helpful and reject any that make you uncomfortable.
The best thing was asking for prayer ministry. I think it was Sozo prayer ministry or something close to it. Basically, someone prays with you and helps you come up with questions to ask God and listens with you. They don't hear for you, but they provide some guardrails, for example if what you hear goes against the Bible, they will tell you that's not God. If you are not used to hearing from God, they can help you understand where and how you are hearing from God.
I have had trauma informed therapy before and it was helpful. I did emdr. However, God sometimes spoke up in the middle of the therapy sessions which made them much more effective. Make sure you have a therapist you can trust though because this method gets into your subconscious emotions. I stopped going after my therapist implied that I was healed enough and had good coping skills, so I should just accept that I was in a good place and that was enough. The therapist is not a Christian, so maybe that's all human strength can achieve. However, we have Jesus, so we're not limited by our ability. I've continued healing and growing thanks to Jesus, and the more I heal and grow, the fast I heal and grow.
For me, being active/exercising is really important. I rock climb at a local gym, but you can pick whatever activity you enjoy. If I sit around too much, I start feeling down, and that's when problems can start.
Connecting with others is really helpful too. Having encouraging and helpful friends, family, and church family is really great. Sometimes I just need to call someone or hang out with a friend. Hopefully you have a church/church group where all of you encourage each other too. I've been blessed with a great church, and it's really helpful.
I pray that the Lord frees you, and you hear what he is saying to you. May you understand The Father's heart for you. May you hear from him who you are and who he is. I pray for you to have the close connection with him that God made available to you through his work on the cross and resurrection. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, amen.

Whenever I have intrusive thoughts I find that the way out is by seeing things how God sees them. Its all lies, all of them. Every intrusive thought. You have the ultimate choice as to whether or not you believe them. And the true thoughts will set you free. "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free".
That's exactly what happened to me and how I eventually got over intrusive thoughts, they are lies but GOD's word is the truth!!

Listen to David diga hornadez. He used to have it bad, lisa osteen talks about how bad it was for her too. Those 2 been through some things but now healed and preach the word.

every time I have intrusive thoughts I say to myself "Jesus I trust in You" and now they are completely gone, its been almost a year after I started this. I had been OCD my whole life and now I am cured thanks to Jesus

It's really tough. I battle with this too. Something that I have found helps is to ask God the source. If it is demonic you can tell it to leave in Jesus' name and it has to go instantly. Sometimes it happens because we have opened a door in our lives that gave the enemy access. In that case we need to repent and confess the sin, and ask God to free us.

I also had depression recently. I do not know why. The intrusive thoughts came out of nowhere. Yes, God is the only hope. Thanks for the testimony.

I paid £1000 to a clinical psychologist who diagnosed ptsd. Of which symptoms I knew I already had. The dr could not tell me how to be free?! I was discharged . Felt that all I did and was asked to do was tell my life story like a newspaper report. The moment a ‘dark’ thought or intrusive thoughts pop in, I immediately start to praise God to get his attention. I start to pray and praise. I haven’t had a depressive episode in months ❤
I have been saying the rosary in the middle of the night and sometimes during the day, but still have depression/anxiety 😢
@@rose5566 I recommend the Lord’s Prayer, and Psalm 23. Also the Armor of God for protection in Ephesians.
Also keep it simple. Just thank the Lord. Include everything you have in your life, your breath, your 5 senses, appendages, food, clothes, running water, etc. Thank God for all the things. Give him praise ‘Hallelujah’! The more I did this, the less I focused on thinking and being depressed. The more I saw God move in my life.
Read scripture. That’s what it’s for…meditation. Read it slowly, quietly, out loud, and often. Reflect. Take notes. Ask questions. Engage in discussions.
Keep praying. Never stop. Jesus also says to forgive. Doing all these things is what helped me. I hope it helps you ❤️

@@rose5566 as believers we do not need to use or rely on crosses , rosaries, candles, statues, pictures, etc to aid in prayer or for protection. This is considered idolatry. They hold no power. The Bible is very clear about this. All we need is the armor of God. EPH 6:10-18.
I use to get intrusive thoughts of my husband cheating on me and would get depressed about it and Id pray to Jesus persistently for a while and Jesus eased my mind and gave me peace 🙏 God hears our prayers 🙏 All in His timing 🙏 Thank you Jesus 🙏

he really does. I was one of the most silent kid ever and he just helped me so much going to people and tell them what i really feel. The devil is a liar, believe in God and never feel depressed again.
I lost my way spiritually since my early 20's...Im 53 now and suffered depression and anxiety for around 25yrs.
Last year, I found Jesus Christ and started praying, reading the bible and stopped my sins, I haven't felt happier, more peaceful and whole, I haven't had a depressive episode since (which going by history, should have had quite a few in that time) my kids can see the difference that it has made to my life, so much so, my 17yr old is enthusiastically asking about attending church and asking many questions about prayer. I used to scoff at the term "born again"... But this is exactly how it feels 🙏

I’ve battled depression and self harm since I was a small child. At my lowest finally in my life (so I thought) I almost gave up… God came and healed my depression just like that in 1 day!!! 🙏☀️💕

Depression feels like mental torture. I have literally screamed in pain in my mind. Horrible intrusive thoughts. Lord have mercy on me!
God has renewed my mind many a day. I confess, repent and keep myself busy. An idle mind is the devils workshop. I move on.
Faith without works is dead. Jesus Christ-Yeshua paid the price for all of our sins. We are saved by the blood of the Lamb. We are forgiven and reconciled to Father God.

I also diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder 2 yrs ago and the only thing I did is to call on jesus to heal me..and he did he save me from all those negative thoughts and now i stop my medication evry day and night i always pray to talk to jesus.....Jesus will never leave us....he always der at my side....so if your reading this remember you are not alone der is GOD who will always with u in your battles.

I searched out testimonies of people being healed in the mind because i have testimonies of what God has done in my life. I know the power of our testimonies. I was healed in my mind in 2014-2015 after walking through repentance and forgiveness towards people who had abused me as a child. I was so free and lifted and brand new....went through a bunch more things. I didn't know about spiritual warfare and i really had to start reading my Bible....then some how or another i was pulled into business and then depression started coming and other things......I believe God is lifting me back up again

Yes i also had experienced intrusive thoughts, but Jesus changed my heart and this intrusive thoughts are mostly no longer in my mind, i believe He is changing our hearts day by day. the key is in the heart because this thoughts is started from the heart, we need to ask Jesus to change our hearts
Many people beat intrusive thoughts and anxiety without a Jesus belief.

Not myself, but my fiancé, our kids mother has diabetes, diagnosed schizoaffective with depression, dealing with intrusive thoughts (not a harm to others, but unintentionally to herself) and as of this writing, in the hospital on a 96 hour hold. I feel like a piece of it triggering how it had is because I had a stroke in October of last year before the holidays while looking for a new job, presently she's the only breadwinner, but I'm trying still to get back to work and help her and be a father. We're trying to be there for our kids, but until I can get some work coming my way and get back to it, we're beyond limited. Trying myself not to break down and cry for her and all the stressors just on my plate. I know God can heal all, but we all need all the prayers we can get.

The Lord recently healed all my psychological issues after I prayed earnestly for about an hour.
I feel he answered me because i had been holding onto some sins and while praying, committed myself to giving them up.
Never doubt Gods power or his willingness to forgive. Humble yourself before him and trust in Jesus' blood. Faith and prayer are more powerful than many realize

The reason I must forgive others.... is the same reason that I require forgiveness... because I am *NOT* perfect! God, being perfect, added to that perfection mercy & forgiveness. Please hear me people. It is through Him we are enabled to accept forgiveness. And, it is also by Him that we are enabled to extend that forgiveness toward others. Forgiveness is more of a journey than a destination. Don't beat yourself up because you haven't fully arrived where you'd like to be.

Anyone reading this, the secret to how this miracle is possible. You may be praying for healing. Make sure that you come to God humbled, lower yourself to Him, surrender everything in your life, He already knows everything, don't lie, confess all sin. Tell Him everything that is destroying you. Now after you have confessed, ask him to remove all evil, depression, anything plaguing you. Let it go, give it all away. You will feel it taken away. Completely. I have gotten stupid intrusive thought for as long as I can remember, but they never got out of control and I KNEW they were stupid. I ALWAYS use the name of Jesus and the Word of God to drive them away.

You see Jesus is about the soul, the heart. Life and freewill are about the mind and thoughts. We are our own healers, with his help. BUT, WE must change the pattern of thoughts which comes from trauma.

As a Christian I had a poor faith and went through several years living a pagan life , which is worse than all. As a consequence I suffered horrible Intrusive thoughts, even unclean physical sensations. I asked a christian friend to pray for me, she canceled the appointment, and I felt very unclean and even rejected by christians.
I came back to the Lord, repenting with all my heart, I fasted, begging the Lord to take me back and renew my conversion. I really wanted to live the real christian pure and holy life that Jesus requiers for his children, I renounced sin . And guess what... The horrible thoughts and sensation were gradually casted, today they are totally gone. 🎉🎉🎉

I had severe, suicidal depression for years. It was cured with antibiotics meant for a sinus infection. I had suspected it was due to bad gut bacteria for years, though.
Jesus Christ is the answer of all answers. For no one can come to the Father except through the Son.
