He was right. And he always knew there was something far greater and more wonderful than a fancy suit or a fine house at the end of the road. Still, God has been so good to us. He and Mom are now in their 80s, and while it's still hard living on fixed incomes sometimes, the church he served in still looks after us and I know they would do anything we really needed. These false prophets like the one above have received their reward. I hope they can say it was worth it come judgement day.

This is so common. When I bought my house it was from a pastor. He bought it for 235,000 and did about 20k in renovations a year after they moved in. In the driveway he had $140,000 cars for him and his wife and another $110,000 for two cars for his children. His wife and him had a whole 16x16 bedroom with a full closet and 4 store racks of clothes for them. It just blew me away how lavish they were living while people in the congregation were putting money in the plate with tears because they could barely pay the light bill.

This is so common. When I bought my house it was from a pastor. He bought it for 235,000 and did about 20k in renovations a year after they moved in. In the driveway he had $140,000 cars for him and his wife and another $110,000 for two cars for his children. His wife and him had a whole 16x16 bedroom with a full closet and 4 store racks of clothes for them. It just blew me away how lavish they were living while people in the congregation were putting money in the plate with tears because they could barely pay the light bill.
That’s what happens when your in an emotional state of mind. The best thing to do is read the bible and study near eastern mythology and see that the two are the exact same stories. Then you wont find yourself in a situation where you believe in something that isn’t real because of “ feelings” and “emotions” and rely on “Logic” to set you free from concept that doesn’t exist.
