And after closely analysing all of my controllers I spotted some obvious differences between the FAKE controller which is the Berry Blue one and the rest of my controllers which are all official PlayStation4 controllers. I did mix up the cases between them but make no mistake as they are originals.

Got one Fake today. The first thing that triggered me was the weight. Exactly as in the video Berry Blue. Exactly all what was presented in the video was wrong with mine. Sold as OEM at the price of an OEM. I would kept if it was cheaper…
The problem is when you order them online. Pictures may be original but then they send you fake ones.
You can send it back. Buy from a trusted source.

A few add on things would be the Playstation logo on the PS button as usually its supposed to well have a PS logo
So have it flipped or off center again or thiccer or thinner then the otiginal

If i may add,Fake controllers does Not charge the battery on rest mode,or maybe they do but the fake does not glow up yellow color when you charge it in rest mode when Legit ones does.
the analog in fake ones are just trash in FPS games.

yea man i think i got scammed. bought new ones and tested on Cod and the sticks arent nearly as responsive as the original one I had (which the l2 button is broken, hence why ineeded a new one). It feels lighter, the sticker on the back is different and it sucks to connect to pc bluetooth. Good thing I'll return it tomorrow, rather just spend all it takes to buy an original.
Question I got a berry blue controller their are some things off like the Sony color is silver, the sound speaker from the control when playing is different from the original and the usb has volume is not carved in but weirdly on the Bluetooth device it doesn’t say is a fake says the same thing as my original controller that I bought at target would you know if some fake ones can pass by through the Bluetooth test and won’t say is a fake ?
Yes, my controller also passes sometimes. The Bluetooth connection menu doesn’t always give accurate information.
So i have this controller which i usually play on, the connectivity is kinda like the fake one you showed but the analogue sticks are normal(despite stick drift), but i baught a fake controller(not knowing its fake) its connectivity is good and the analogue sticks are smoother in a brocken way and ofc it shows that its not an official one
Are the conductive film in the fake controller the same conductive film in the official controller
They are a bit different from what I have noticed the length is different but the number of connections is the same. The battery connector was different. I had to cut the cables and solder the fake connector to the original battery.
Can you use the original motherboard inside the fake casing cuz im thinking of buying a fake for the casing and placing my motherboard in the fake
Good question. I haven’t tried it but there are some differences between the two.
Nope. the fake controller case doesn't fit the original board.
This video was really helpful, helped me get a refund from a third party seller claiming to sell an original ps4 dual sense controller.
Ordered a couple off of eBay and both were fake, even though they had an official box.
If I have all the parts from an original controller and put them on the fake one is there a problem?
Great question! 😁 I haven’t tried to do this so I can’t say exactly if everything will fit or not. At a first glance they might fit but the plastic cases are made differently. For example: you can see the vibrator supports. On the original they are made in such a way that they also act as dumpers. On the fake one they are not made this way. This is a big difference when it comes to gameplay experience.

the og ds4 board and rumble mottors do not fit on the fake one's shell.
Can you tell me what pin ribbon is need for ps4 gen 1
All of my controllers are v2 so I haven’t seen the inside of a V1 controller. Maybe someone else can help.

they're original, haven't seen a cyberpunk ds4 fake as to this day.
is there any app that can detect fake ds4?
Mine was detected by my console. In settings, on the connection setting. I don’t know of any app.
Why do you even need 4 ps4 controllers in the first place?
When you have kids, they all want their own controller 😁. We also play couch games a lot and those games can be played by 4 players.

Ouch! That hurts a little on the inside 😅. But seriously it’s ok to buy an aftermarket controller but it should be your decision to do so and not be tricked into thinking it is original when in fact it is a fake. My intention is to spread the word so that people can make an informed decision when they buy a ds4 controller.
And it was not a mistake, I got tricked into buying it.

Yep mines a fake.. and now it makes sense as to why it's literally just falling apart. My L1R1 buttons just fall out completely. 🤦♂️
At least they replaced the battery i guess..
But yeah.. i took this thing apart and compared it to my 2 other controllers.. those 2 are exactly the same. Same parts, same size receptacle for the battery pack. Same ribbons.
The one I'm using now? Nope.. all different parts and i can't even fix it with spare parts from my 2 older controllers cuz they're not compatible. At first I thought it was just a different generation maybe. An older one. But ive never even seen a controller like this. I'm taking this thing back in 2moro its ridiculous.
