  • Nice scooter, but the wheels didn't roll very well. According to the goped.com website my wheels are missing the required bearing spacers. It seems that NyceWheels.com, the website where I purchased my KickPed from didn't install and bearing spacers. All side mounted wheels require bearing spacers. Skateboards need bearing spacers ) They are needed because the wheels are side mounted just like the Kickped wheels.

Just got my Kickped and I am having the same problem. Can you please share how you made the spacer? Which tubing you used and how you cut it and length. I looked up the cost for the spacer on the Go-ped site but shipping is $5 for a $2 part. I rather just make it if I have the tools to do it. I also loosened the nut a bit which helped but they still seem like they should free spin longer, only getting 5-6 rotations. I really like this scooter but I seem to be getting all the problems others have had, loose deck bolts causing creaking, strap coming raveled, and the one in your video. I have fixed the first two problems, just need the spacer now.

+Tony Tiger it come with two bearing spacer. Can you tell me how you made your wheel spin a little longer than a minute? when I spin my wheel there is no binding but some friction resistance. I guess it come from the ball bearings.
