Decent video and idea BUT the blurring which happens once you 'expand' is absolutely ridiculous.... Would be very time consuming especially when u have close to 100 photos to try an resize
Doesn’t work if it’s street photography and there’s a lot going on in the picture on the sides. Makes the building and people multiply in a very bad way, thank you for uploading though, could work for some photos like the one you edited.

This expand feature is great but, only works for photos that aren’t close up. What about for selfies? Whenever I use the expand feature on close ups, it makes the photo looked really warped. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue so they fit online without having to crop the photo while avoiding the white borders? Plzzz help 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

So that’s great & all for certain photos, but this didn’t work at all for some of my vertical/portrait selfie type photos.. First off expanding them ended up making them look so bizarre it was not fixable just using the heal option, I mean, my hair on my head doesn’t just somehow exist in the entire right side of the photo lol, then it added a set of my lips floating around on the left expanded side over by my arm & the curtains behind me… At first I thought, no big deal, it’ll get cropped out when insta turns it to a ‘square’ crop but nope! That’s not what happened lol. It still cropped out my body & now my head just looked really weird with a blah’ish bunch of random floating hair & an extra set of lips floating on either right/left side… No matter how much extra photo I added on the left & right, no matter how much I expanded the photo, it still didn’t result in the ability to fit the full original photo into the ‘square’ sized crop the correct way without ruining the picture. So this tool/app def didn’t work without ruining the photo & making myself look like a disfigured blob in the photos I did try to use it with . Lol. && yes, I followed directions verbatim even playing the video AS I edited the photo, pausing & following along with his instructions as I went. I can see how this would work well on certain photos though, just kind of disappointed it didn’t work on all of them & clearly only works on certain photos, ideally photos where the object of the photo is centered & where, like in his example, the background of the photo is something simple $ basic like a flat dark wall or something. If it’s an up close selfie kind of photo & your hair or arm or something is what is on that left or right side of the photo, expanding it just didn’t work out the way it supposedly should of & really just didn’t work at all only working to ruin the photo, no matter how many times or how much I expanded the sides… It still cut off my body & basically cropped around my head. It’s still a cool photo editing app though, I just wish there was an actual editing tool that had an option to just flat out resize photos, scaling them to fit whatever size you choose where ppl could just select the size that insta crops pics down to… Like when you go to crop it and it shows you all the generic sizes of photos, if you could just select one & size the photo to that size w/o cropping but instead, just scaling the whole photo to fit that size, THAT would be the setting I would look for & with all the tech geniuses out there, I’m not sure why we don’t already have an editing app that does that but hey.. maybe someday, right?
I think the app has changed since the video. It does not show picture ratio anymore when selecting toos/crop to allow me to see square, etc. How do I do that with the new version of the app
Is there any way I can do this on my Macbook ie not a phone? I have some nice quality photos on my computer which would be a hassle to load onto my phone. Thanks.
Any rec's for a free desktop plug-in that we can do multiples at once? I have so many pics that need to be resized for Posh, this would take forever! But will be fine for the single here & there.
It’s frustrating that you can’t pinch the photo to size.
That would be the most user friendly. This is why I don’t even want to post on instacrap.

@@NYJJ99 tried this but it’s still leaving the issue of it cutting off different parts of your picture to fit the 3:4 size :/

So that’s great & all for certain photos, but this didn’t work at all for some of my vertical/portrait selfie type photos..
