Dude thanks for the tutorial!!! Helped me out a lot. I can see why people complain about the music volume. 🎶 I like the music, but in the end it gets a little loud
Hey Colin, how about a tut on how to how post on instagram from computer . The preset tip with one click and your ready to resize and post on Instagram is appreciated ...Thanks
I loved the 'content-aware' tip. I have stretched many images because I was in a hurry and did not know this option. Question though...what's up with the drama music? I was waiting for the sequel to 'Gladiator' to start rolling...haha.
This is great but as others have said how do you then get it onto Instagram. If I crop 4x5 and add the image buy uploading it to my phone - then adding it to Instagram, it doesn't fit and the allocated box then wants me to then crop in yet again making the whole process a waste of time? What am I missing?
This didn't work when I tried it with a landscape image, looked good after following your guide, but when put into Instagram the width was reduced. Can you tell me what I did wrong?
Sometimes the content-aware will stretch a pole or a tree to some ridiculous heights along with the sky or background, but this is something I have used a lot in the past.
great tutorial...but i have just one minor complaint..your background music was ( to me) a bit loud, there were times i couldnt hear your directions very well. Also, i couldnt get the "Content Aware Scale" to come up, it was "greyed" out, tried to do a couple things but it still didnt work.
I cannot for the life of me figure out where in photoshoot to do this.. it keeps bringing me to photoshop express where I don’t have this option and photoshop cafe I dont see any photo editing
Not working for full body photos. Also you leave so much space on top and instagram usually crops the height of a full body photo so in your photo the only thing that would be cropped its just the sky. For full body photos with your method instagram will crop legs
Exactly what I've been looking for, excellent tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you, I did not know what size my image should be for Instagram. 😊. Your tips are always great ones😊
Glad to help

Loved the tutorial. As usual you do a great job. I found the addition of background music distracting however. Any way I can turn that off?
I “hear you” on the music

Thanks for the tip!
For some reason I thought it was 2048pixels that was the good amount of pixels to use!
1080 x 1350 is the current standard
Hi Another totally new to m tip. Don't use Instagram but can be very useful. Thank you
You can adapt it to anything really
Darn usefu, thank you

Thank MR COLIN
❤
Another great tutorial Colin. I didn't like the added music either.
Noted
This didn't work when I tried it with a landscape image, looked good after following your guide, but when put into Instagram the width was reduced. Can you tell me what I did wrong?
WOWWWWWW MY MOUTH IS FALLING OPEN WITH THESE TRICKS
Does this work with pictures taken in portrait and not landscape?
When I’m doing this it’s stretching it all over not just the sky to move it up! What am I doing wrong? Thanks again
Sometimes the content-aware will stretch a pole or a tree to some ridiculous heights along with the sky or background, but this is something I have used a lot in the past.
The linked tutorial at the end shows how to prevent that by using channels
I dont have the content aware highlighted it is greyed out any advise please regards Jon
Resolution value
Ctrl + T doesn't seem to be working for me and 'free transform' is greyed out in the edit tab. How do I fix this? Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the tutorial. The loud background music makes it a little difficult to focus on what you're saying. 😞
You should have done this with an portrait
How did you reframe the photo..??

Noted on the music. CAS will be grayed out if you are on a background. It has to be a layer.
0:40 I lose quality after I crop the size to 1080x1350. How to fix this?
Why background music?
Will this work with 1080 width?
it will work with any size
Following the instructions but as I drag the edge, the whole picture grows rather than just the edge I'm dragging. ???
Hold down shift
I cannot for the life of me figure out where in photoshoot to do this.. it keeps bringing me to photoshop express where I don’t have this option and photoshop cafe I dont see any photo editing
You need to have the full photoshop for this to work. All my tutorials are on the full version of Photoshop
Not working for full body photos. Also you leave so much space on top and instagram usually crops the height of a full body photo so in your photo the only thing that would be cropped its just the sky. For full body photos with your method instagram will crop legs
It only sets the shape, you can reposition or scale the crop however you like to fix the shape instagram gives you.
Nice tutorial. The music was distracting and annoying.
I can do without the background music
Yup, I now realize lol
