I’m finally modding my 3DS
if it doesnt get bricked at least try out pretendo. its a restored nintendo network that works natively on the 3ds and wii u. it has mario maker, splatoon, and even better it has miiverse
Same but I suggest using a backup one just incase so it won’t get bricked (if you have another 3DS) personally that’s what I would do

@@omargustavomalavevargas9388 there is a growing movement of people wanting to play the old games again and for the first time. The servers shutting down is leaving money on the table. No need to innovate, just restart production on the older systems, and the old games, and the investments were made over a decade ago, and interest has only grown.
New games are rushed, barely functional, and loaded down with BS.

I still have my 3DS, but it seems it's life has reached it's end due to not only this, but it's short battery life recently... (sob), thank you... for not only for the fun times... but to those still using their 3DS and Wii U... I will TRULY miss it and the Wii U!

I'm most sad that the badge arcade is going away. We can't just leave arcade bunny there to die
It's ironic because a lot of features in badge arcade have already been disabled with few remaining, as of now the bunny has probably nothing to do

I'm going to make this more dramatic than it is, so yeah. I got my 3DS in 2019, and frankly, I didn't have a lot of games to play online, but I will always remember sitting and waiting for badge arcade to load up. Speaking of which, if you have stickers outside of your badge box, move them to your badge box. Otherwise, they get deleted along with the servers. If you can't fit them all in the badge box, I guess just choose the ones you want to keep.
Next, I got a Wii U a few weeks ago, and the OG Splatoon is awesome. I've only played it for a few days and I'm already gonna miss it.

I still have so many games that I never got around to playing on the 3DS. I’m determined to get through my backlog on that system and finally experience all the gems. If anything, I love it more now than I ever did when it was still being supported.
From this point forward, completing the Pokedex in the 3DS Pokemon games will be nearly impossible.
Me and my sister each wanted one of the two biggest online WiiU games, which is why we even got the console in the first place. I wanted Mario Maker, and she wanted Splatoon. We eventually got the WiiU in 2016 with these two games. I thought Splatoon was so weird that I wouldn't want to play it, until my sister forced me to one day (lol). From then on, Splatoon has held the top spot as my favorite game franchise of all time. Even though I didn't get around to Mario Maker, I was able to play some matches on Ancho-V Games before the shutdown in Splatoon. It reminded me of so many memories of how I would not take my attention away from the game, since it had the Gamepad minigames in between matches. I only played for roughly a year before we had to get Splatoon 2 and a Switch, but it was a wonderful experience all the same to spend Saturday mornings in the Splatoon world. It felt longer than a year, honestly. I'm sad to see the online mode go, but I will still treasure all of the memories of Squid Jump, Miiverse, Splattack, and Inkopolis News.
Sorry for the long comment, but I absolutely adore the Splatoon franchise, and will miss the game that started my love of the series.

It's been what feels like years since I played any WiiU or 3DS games and probably not gonna play them again since it ain't easy to play any game that ain't on Nintendo Switchwith so much plugged in at the house and my bro not played any games with me in a long time I only play MK8D during GameXplain Monday tourneysand on GameXplain Thanksgiving streams I play Tetris 99 and there's times I play some classic games on NSO but I mainly watch GameXplain or Blue Television Games stream games.

One of the things I miss most about the 3DS is when people walked around with tgem their pockets, and the systems woukd tag each other in the Mii Street Plaza. Granted people stopped years ago, but that's besides the point.

That's a shame. My Wii U has been sitting dormant for years and watching this video makes me realize how much fun it was to play online. Mario Kart 8 was fun to play and it's a shame that I can no longer play the game with other people online. I guess if I want to get that back, I'd have to purchase a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for my Switch. I never did get around to playing Super Smash Bros on my Wii U.
I'm going to miss playing Mario Kart 7 online, racing Metal Marios all day and getting rekt by hackers at Wuhu Town surely was a lot of fun !

I managed to beat Rainbow Road 1st place before Online service went out on Mario Kart 7. A good memory to have at the very end of the 3DS online service.

I came back to my 3ds when I learned the date that Nintendo will remove the consoles's online and I played with it until the final hour. I will never forget this moment!.

Never owned a Wii U, Mario Kart 7 was the only game I owned that had online for my 3DS, so I played that game right until the very end. Most of the time I only played it because it looked so much like the Wii's online mode.

This is probably one of my most sad days i have ever had that an awesome console's time is over, and they were incredible consoles to play with. At least we can play with what nintendo left in these consoles :(
I have so many memories Wonder trading in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for hours a day for years. I remember using battle spot to battle randos even in oras. The 3ds Pokémon games were so fun online. Rip PSS

I personally wanted to say goodbye not only to the services of the 3DS and Wii U but also to the game Nintendo Badge Arcade because tomorrow, they won't have anymore Nintendo Badge Arcade ever again so... Even if you were a little game where we came to waste money on little badges to customize our homescreen. You were a good game, you gave me good memories and I wanted to thanks you here.

I was never allowed a DS or 3DS as a kid. Sad to see I missed out on all of this
I think I’m gonna not go back to hurry and rush to get some online stuff in, because if I go back and rush, I won’t be able to move on. I think I’m just gonna keep looking forward rather than trying to get a few last moments that won’t matter to me now. The 3ds was my childhood, and the servers shutting down marks the end. So rather than trying to grind in the last hours, I choose to have the memories of the real times I used it. Now though, it’s time for me to move on.

I am now a huge fan of Nintendo and even their old video game consoles, like the NES or Gameboy, but I am twelve years old and never owned a Wii U, so I will never get to try out the original Splatoon (I love Splatoon three). I have a 3DS, but none of my other friends do so I can't play with them. Plus, now it's too late since I'm commenting 2 days later. Thank you Wii U and 3ds, although I could never experience you, you will always be remembered.

I ain't played any WiiU or 3DS games in what feels like years and probably won't play them again since my brother stopped playing games with me long ago and too many things plugged in to play other game systems I only play MK8D during GameXplain Mondays tourney and Tetris 99 during the GameXplain Thanksgiving streams and at times for a few minutes classic games on NSO I'm more for watching GameXplain and Blue Television Games stream games.
