- Let's take a trip to Islands of Adventure! This theme park is located right next to Universal Studios Florida at the Universal Orlando Resort. In this video, we are going to take a full walking tour of the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. This is an incredible area of the park that is made to be an almost complete replica from the original Jurassic Park film!
Located in the Discovery Center, theme park guests will find games to test your DNA and see what kind of dinosaur you would be. You can play the hilarious trivia game, You Bet Jurassic and even take in a towering fossil of a massive T. Rex! The discovery center is a generally overlooked but incredibly detailed portion of the park. Upstairs, you will find a wonderful quick service restaurant.

What I’m most curious about is the new Jurassic Park ride. Since the park has been closed for the past two months, they’ve been able to work unimpeded and now I wonder if the ride will be finished sooner than it initially was (they were delayed before quarantine even started anywhere) but it looks like it won’t be any more. Do you think the new ride will be finished a little after quarantine ends or open in 2021?
I think that Jurassic World will open pretty close in conjunction with the park if not immediately with it.
Theme Park Shark No, I mean not Jurassic World Ride in Hollywood or even the Jurassic Park Ride in Orlando. The new new ride they’ve tentatively titled the Velocicoaster that’s under construction right now in Orlando.
Gotcha. Totally misunderstood your question. That one has not been fast tracked as far as I am aware and remains on the same timeline.
