The concept of a dinosaur-themed zoo selling wall mounts of their dinosaurs is hilariously sick

I just went here and I was quite surprised by the egg scanner attraction! I'm studying for my B.S. in college and when I do labs that require me to identify a material or substance, I use the same techniques presented here: gathering data points and comparing using known properties of possible matches. It's a simulation, but they really didn't water it down. I feel like this might be lost on the average theme park visitor, but as an aspiring scientist and Jurassic Park fan, I was very pleased that they're trying to convey how this process works to the mainstream. So cool.

i love jurassic park, dinos are beautiful
I was lucky enough to have the privilege to visit this beautiful part of the park spent 80% of my time in the park at the Jurassic part
I was lucky enough to also get a tour in the hatchery part behind the scenes got to see and touch some screen used JP props and those skeletons in the main building are actually the screen used ones!!

This is one of the few things that the Orlando verison does better than the Hollywood version. Don't get me wrong, the Hollywood version was awesome as well, but it was just one ride that was part of the lower lot of universal, along with the mummy and transformers rides. Here in Orlando, they went as far as to recreate the visitors center from the movie with gift shops, restaurants, the dino skeletons and staircase of the visitors center and it is an attraction of itself. The attention to detail and effort that went into making this into an entire area themed to Jurassic park is awesome. I appreciate how far they went into making this a themed land with the elements of the movie and being it's own thing as opposed to being an addition to the park with no sharing theme. This is why I miss going to universal Studios; the nostalgic affection I had to theme parks back in 2013/2014 is what made me go to universal Studios in July of 2014. I truly miss those times.
Well, the Hollywood park couldn't be as detailed as this because they don't have nearly as much space. Where on the lower lot could they build a discovery center?

Looks awesome. I've sadly yet to visit IOA but the JP section looks like it replicated and recaptured the atmosphere and feel of the original movie to a T. One day I shall go :)
Love the rendition of the JP theme in this video, sounds faithful to the original while also being it's own thing. Who performs it?
Trust me, as a long time fan, its a lot more beautiful in person. It also makes me kind of sad thinking about the lore of the Jurassic franchise. This is John Hammond's dream realized. A place where people could observe and enjoy his prehistoric creations.

Hahahaah just like me with my husband, but he does like Harry Potter so we spend half a day at Jurassic Park and half a day at the Wizarding World

I went here when once when I was 7 years old I remember I was on the main ride with the t rex and I literally was screaming in terror when the ride drops and the t rex is trying to eat the car. Aww man lol I want to go again they added alot of new attractions I wanna see

It does look educational for those who want to study dinosaurs, but the interior, sadly, is not an exact replica of the film set.
i hope they expand upon that area

The entire "Jurassic Park" area of Universal Orlando has got me thinking about writing a fanfic based on it. Trouble is, I DON'T want it to come across as a carbon copy of "Jurassic World."

DynamicBluez ღ It's still in the development stages. It's been that way with everything else that's been going on in my life. The hardest part has been figuring out which dinosaurs should star in it, but I'm happy to say that I've finally 'nailed' that part down (😊).

nightmarereject So far no, they have just refurbished the Ride, but they didn't changed anything
The hell :-) why keep the DNA strand dude. Anyway, I went there not last Halloween but the Halloween before, along with the one before that (2012 and 2013) and the lower floor/floors where shut :-( would have gone again last year but with the new law in Britain and me now being in year nine that would have been impossible without missing a week of school, which I can't do as I have exams :-(. Might go again in October 2017... Anyway. Your lucky you got in their, that's all I can say :-).
