We need a full length Garnet Silk feature. As time goes by, not enough is being done (at least visibly) to keep Garnet's message, energy and legacy growing. Time to honor the Ark Angel the right way.

Garnet Silk was the greatest artist after Bob'' the one who carried the Banner, The few times I saw him outside roof int studio in Ochi I always remember him to be a very Humble man The part at 1,33 were Garnet comes on stage'' this was ROOF INTERNATIONAL one year celebrations held at Circle B in St Ann'' i remember that night well, it was me and Super Morris who went to this dance,in fact Super Morris was part of the artist under Roof International records, with Courtney Cole as the manager'' They were Good times

I also share the sentiments you expressed about Garnet,
YARDBRIT TRASH N READY MUSIC. I take it a step further though and say, he's the best! In my personal opinion, and there's been none close to him since. Reason being, Garnet displayed such a humble, sincere spirit, yet deeply spiritual and convicted in his beliefs. The most unique voice to come out of this music! Again, that's my personal opinion, and that's what grabs audiences, that voice and the sincerity which comes through his tones. My favourite singer from the moment I first heard "Seven Spanish Angels" on the radio as a youth, and asked the elders around, who is that voice on the radio?
We need a full length Documentary on this once in a lifetime legend. Your Aura and spirit was felt like no other, None did, or has done it better!
Reggae's own Arch Angel! Live on King.

I often wonder how far Jamaican music would be today if so many of the greats did not die so early in their career's.

Garnet made a great contribution to reggae but it seem most of the Jamaican's dont acknowledge him an the work he has done in his short life. He is the 2nd best reggae artist ever.
