- 2024 is slowly but surely shaping up to be a very interesting season, even though we are still less than two months away from its first venue in Bahrain, and the teams’ latest updates about their cars have only made it even more anticipated! While many thought that Red Bull’s dominance was going to ‘brainlessly’ continue in the upcoming campaign due to them winning 21 out of the 22 races in 2023, this is definitely not going to be the case after the latest upgrades from their fiercest rivals. So, with this in mind, what are the new changes that the teams have announced on their 2024 cars, and more precisely, are they really enough to challenge Red Bull in both championships?

Mercedes thought the 2022 design will be 1.5s faster than the competition, I don't know what they were looking at that time and we all know what happened. People are using the RB19 as a yardstick but RB20 is what is being developed

I’m guessing they are speaking about what Ferrari have said about suspected performance gains, Not saying these are entirely accurate or truthful statements but Toto has spoken about NEEDING to find 2.5 seconds worth of pace and Ferrari have mentioned that based on sim/tunnel data they have gained 7 tenths so if the video mentions half a second that’s being modest
ans RB is doing nothing duh.... I guess they will be faster than last year.. Hold me beer a well educated guess
Will the W15 be quicker than the RB19? Possibly. But RB built the RB20 already and are currently working on the RB21 for 2025.... It all points to RB being way ahead.
Unless Mercedes get an improved power train, they will never catch redbul who are generally half a second per lap faster than any team on grid, thats why within one lap or lap 2 they are usually beyond DRS range..and end up over 10 to 20 seconds ahead including all pit stops at race end.

F1 doesn't need anything engines. It could use Ford ecoBoost engines and be more fun. Just slap some drift tires on the things. Force them to use gear sticks and clutch pedal.
Keep all the safty equipment at 2020 level. But knock everything else back to 1970s ffs.
Make the cars almost uncontrollable 0-100mph. Safe for 200mph the drivers will be fine.
F all that noise let's do EV AI racing.
Decide the number of cars to race. Then have people text in to register their device. Could be 100 devices per car. 24 cars 2400 players.
Each device registered links to the dash cam.
Mayb have Mario kart style power ups AR whatever or just swinging foam blocks to hit and claim its power up.
Now to race the things each car Ai sally will do whatever the majority tell it to do.
Gran tourismo SpecB style.
Buttons on the device saying to cool down. Go hard. Full send. Take it easy. Over take at any cost 😮 hold the line.
Etc etc. Then whoevers car wins they win the cash prize which is just a fraction of the money raised on registration alone with each text costing ??? Regardless of admission £1 $1 whatever to get the chance to be picked.
