Idk if there’s any truth to all that but makes me wonder if the media didn’t fact check thing as well as they should have and if main streams media isn’t trying to push a specific narrative while causing more division. My school district had a very strict dress code when I was growing up, especially when it came to the female gender. I remember having an English teacher in middle school that always wore the shortest low cut outfits ever, but never got reprimanded for it. I wear I mini skirt with leggings and get suspended for a day. Apparently my under developed body was more distracting than a grown woman's.

Everyone should remain within a reasonable level of professional dress as per their career. As a teacher, there needs to be a very serious emphasis on presenting yourself in a way that isn't obscene and that allows students to focus.
My middle school social studies teacher wore pencil skirts and python skin pumps, but she always dressed herself in a way that was elegant. You can express yourself and wear clothing tailored to your style without nuking your surroundings.

Another thing that worries me is, where does this end? I shudder to think boundaries will be pushed much further, especially where kids are involved and concerned about the discrimination card being pulled anytime an individual from an "oppressed" group simply doesn't get their way or demands special treatment/exceptions to rules.

It’s funny because the adults at school are far less important than the kids. They have already gone through life, found their career, and generally secure in their life. The kids are there to find their path or further themselves along their decided path and are dealing with a lot of insecurity and questions of identity. Their general comfort should be far and away prioritized over the general comfort of the teachers (who also seem to be at odds with this for the most part anyway). The corny ass school board is so concerned with making a happy environment for everyone that they forgot the fundamental rule of dealing with groups of people: You cannot please everyone. Instead, they have opted to please a singular person in their environment for the sake of pleasing a bunch of people who have nothing to do with them.
The thing is of that was a women then it would’ve been a problem and at least been told to cover up and such.

I had a spanish teacher in middle school who struggled because she had abnormally large breasts. She was a Christian lady so she did her best to cover herself as much as possible. She even tried to get breast reduction surgery because it was causing her so much back pain. The school was unwilling to pay for her surgery because they deemed it a cosmetic surgery even though the school recommended it to her in the first place.

My Aunt used to teach in a School in Canada in the 2000s. She's Indian so she had a tiny nose piercing/ring , it's a cultural thing. But for the west it was kind of an extreme thing at the time I guess like a teacher having tattoos. Imagine , she was called into the principal office to talk about just having a simple nose piercing back then. The most hilarious thing is this: A year prior, the teacher had been slapped by the school for not being inclusive enough. S/He's now pushing their rulings to the breaking point, and the school had to go with it because they'd cornered themselves. They can't come out and say he's just playing since he can just reverse it with the "not inclusive enough" card. And things WILL get worse, until people realize that being inclusive is well and good but in a society, there's limits to what is acceptable.

I went to this high school 30 years ago and have been following this story a little. There's a rumor that this teacher was accused of not being woke enough last year (when he taught as a man), so they are now doing this as a response to troll the school board - which seems more plausible than someone dressing like this because they really feel like it's their identity.

It's crazier because not long ago, parents were protesting against an art teacher because she was too voluptuous and they thought she would distract the children with her body (mind you the kids were in I think elementary or younger) but they are letting this slide. I had a "trans" teacher when I went to a continuation school class, they presented as female but obviously didn't pass. Nobody cared because they weren't trying to push a narrative, I was there to graduate either way.
