Yep. I still love my 6700xt 18 months now and this combo is still kicking ass. 5600x, 6700xt, 32gb 3200mhz c16, m.2 960 evo, 2TB WD SSD, 750 evga gold psu and all of it working great on my Asus Strix B350 Gaming F that I originally started with 1600x when it released. Love this board it was built great and affordable.

@@kuiper3500 yeah just dont want to waste money on a board when mine works like it did out of the box still. Would I get 2 m.2 drives? And pcie 4.0? Even then it wouldn't make a difference in performance.
@@kuiper3500 since for now there's no real change in performance. I'd rather save my money for ryzen 8000 series. Get a new platform and higher end mobo on my next build.

Why does the 4060 has DOUBLE the 1% at Witcher 3 Next Gen 1440p compared to 1080p? Explain??
I would personally take the rx 6700xt and a ryzen 5 5600x for my budget gaming pc and also for gaming only but the rtx would be better for editing recording and also live streaming so if any one had a problem to pick what graphics card to take for gaming then choose the rx 6700xt also the radeon combo with ryzen 5 5600x has no bottleneck 😀
At 13:30 there seems to be more shadow and lighting detail on 6700xt than 4060

True, i assume for someone who can afford gaming pc, their concern is not about power consumption. they just want higher gaming performance
Nvidia could definitely increase Rtx 4060 (108W) power comsumption to the same as Rtx 3060 (170W) and having the perfomance increase of 57% (hypothetically) compare to current rtc 4060 even if it is half of it (28,5%) it still a massive boost because then Rtx 4060 could 40-50% much faster than Rtx 3060, and yet Nvidia refuse to do that and cut its vram, sad.

just checked this. it only happened on hogwarts legacy, this was an error during editing, used the wrong clip to show the settings there, but the test itself is on 1080p. thanks for bringing this up, this will help me to edit the future vids that use the same template

I was almost certain to get a used 6700 xt but now the 4060 looks kinda good option, because the price isnt that much expensive especially for a new unit, requires way less power, running more cooler and quieter too, only thing is its 8gb vram... which I dont know if its a total dealbreaker for 1080p gaming.
Can you test 6700xt and 4060 with DLLS and FSR
ive already done my tests of this on my own, on average I found that dlss on the 4060 resulted in a higher fps than the 6700 xt with fxr, and they both seemed about the same in terms of visuals, with dlss being slightly better in my opinion, but I'd personally still go for the 6700xt if thats your question because it is a powerful enough card to where you can run MOST triple a games at ultra (some only high for a more comfortable smooth experience), and at that point switching to high rather than using ultra would be better than fxr or dlls anyway for that matter. In terms of raytracing the 4060 definitely performs a bit better, but for a mid-range card like these 2, raytracing really is a unrealsitc gimmic that you won't get good performance unless its a older game.
I ended up getting the white spectral hellhound 6700xt over this card , the thing is massive ! But it's performance is amazing for the price ! 1440p ultra settings no upscaleing. Even 4k in some titles with fsr. And was only £300. And looking forward to fsr 3❤
The 40 series of cards are just an expensive software update to the 30 series and nothing will change my mind

RX 6700 XT is a great card, just try to avoid looking at the power draw which is a very strong point for team green.
I can confirm 6700 xt undervolts easily with no performance loss. Over clocks easily too. My card pulls 160w maximum and in most games stays around 140w.
@@dakbassett I play 30fps lock with a 6500XT, right now playing Elden Ring maxed out settings 1080p it's 30-32w on average. On online games i set everything on low except textures and lock to 60fps. usualy seating at 50-65w. The main point is, for every 100watt 10hours a day , i pay 10€ every month extra. Simple math

It's because RX67000XT has 12GB of VRAM and RTX4060 only has 8GB. RAM is a type of memmory you want to use, there is no point to have "free RAM" when you need it. RX6700XT has 4GB more, which is basicaly 50% of RTX4060's RAM. Of course RX6700XT uses more RAM. RTX4060 just doesn't have it :) Thats why a lot of 8GB cards struggle in newest games - it's not enough. Needed graphical assets are then swapped to the RAM (instead of missing VRAM) what may lead to stutters.

Se compran en las mismas condiciones, la potencia de la 4060 sin dlss es pesima comparada con la generación anterior. Sin dlss Nvidia es como intel, solo fabrican refritos.
